President Joe Biden proposed more federal spending on education Wednesday when asked how to end the gas shortage on the East coast.
“I think that this shows that I think we have to make a greater investment in education as it relates to being able to train and graduate more people proficient in cybersecurity,” Biden said when asked how to alleviate the crisis.
The president spoke about the gas shortage — sparked by a ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline — after delivering remarks about fighting the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Get the hook... Diaper Joe Biden has gone 'round the bend!

All of these cyberattacks use the same toolkit, developed by and leaked from our government. It’s like we funded the development of the virus that foreign powers use against us. More education and less indoctrination and America would have never voted herself into this mess.

99% to pet projects. 1% to actual education.

Oh yeah.... because an indoctrination in Critical Race Theory, and 1+1=whatever makes you feel good, prepares our future geniuses in cyber security. /S/

The answer's simple. Without a teleprompter, he doesn't know what he's saying. For that matter, even with a teleprompter, he doesn't know what he's saying.

The US is way behind in Internet security and software education provided today will not help us anytime soon. The Russians, Chinese and Koreans have very skilled hackers and even third world, low income students in India, Nigeria and Pakistan can create serious havoc for computer users across the world. What we need is for Bill Gates' Microsoft dweebs to get their Swiss cheese operating systems fixed.

Why do we want to spend more on education when the teachers union says it is unsafe for them to teach classes? Maybe we should let the students find other ways to get educated than the federally subsidized public schools. That sounds like a much better solution than forcing these frightened teachers to work in the classroom. I hear people say they don't want vouchers and charter schools. Okay, we could provide in-home instruction via the net, like these teachers wish to do, but give tax exemptions of 100% for those people who can find private schools for their children that they can afford. If the teachers want to destroy the public school system, which they seem determined to do, then give them part of what they want.

What ignorance they display. There are numerous PRIVATE companies that offer cybersecurity programs, including protection for ransomware. Colonial was using an outdated Microsoft program. If corps. do not update, they can get hacked. Private citizens like myself use one or more of these programs. ALSO, the programs/data need to be backed up ongoing, to an OFFSITE location.

Joe Biden's teleprompter is sounding stupid too. Biden didn't come up with that answer but someone did and that's the dumbest response for a question I've ever heard.

What is he talking about? What does the stupidity of Colonial Pipeline Company which evidently doesn't have a Disaster recovery Plan in Place? BTW, he needs to fire that incompetent at the DOT who ordered the Canadian pipeline supplying us with fuel shut down. Are they looking for real insurrection because this is a good way to get it.

And if that doesn't work I'm sure more spending on the "climate" will do the trick.

I am about to deliver my own remarks about fighting the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. I live in the most populous county in middle Tennessee. The smaller counties on all five sides of this one have lifted all their restrictions. My county, with a Democratic mayor (Republican Governor) hasn't lifted much. I walked into a doctor's office yesterday and wondered why no one had on a mask. I was told their county had lifted the order and MEDICAL offices were the last to lift them. Not MY county. There's no such thing as individual rights any more.
