When President DeSantis is sworn in at 12:00 pm on January 20, 2025, he should give a short speech and by 12:10 be firing people. Lots of people.
Okay, it might not be the current Florida governor – we do know it’s not going to be Gov. Nikki! Haley (R – Establishment) or Kristi! Noem (R-NCAA) – but whoever beats Kamala Harris like a drum needs to come into the Oval Office ready to clear-cut the bureaucracy.
Just level it.
Every keen observer understands that Donald Trump’s first and foremost failure as president was personnel. He did not get it right until the end, and then it was far too late.
I don't think anyone could have guessed the level of corruption that existed in DC when President Trump took over and he certainly could not have been prepared for the level of dishonestly that existed even in his own party. The Republicans are lucky that he came in when he did and they will be lucky to elect him again. This country is teetering on the edge of dictatorship and only a very strong leader will be able to pull it back. If Trump does not want the job, DeSantis would be a good choice, but I will wait for the decision by the man who brought us to the dance.

This article is exactly what I said all along. Trump's biggest mistake was not firing all the Senior Executive Service (SES) on day one. These were Obama and Bush people and they were the ones that tried on a daily basis to destroy him.
As for DeSantis. If Trump decides not to run then DeSantis is the man. However, if Trump does run, DeSantis should be his VP.

One of Trump's greatest achievements was to shine a light on the cockroaches and traitors of the Establishment so that the country could see what they were doing and get white hot angry about it.

Good article, but fails to go far enough.
The Jimmy Carter/Alan "Scotty" Campbell/Congressman James Hanley cabal brought forth the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978. The Act was an abomination, creating more problems than most people can imagine.
It created super civil service grades of 16, 17, and 18, many of them believing they were a government unto themselves.
It codified collective bargaining rights for most federal employees, and put union leaders on the government clock.
It created merit pay bonuses, often abused.
It created transfer rules, where two people, each heading a VA hospital, can trade jobs, and receive handsome, tax free travel; and relocation allowances.
I could go on and on, but note that I taught this stuff, and also conducted federal arbitration hearings, among others, in various agencies within the federal government, including DOD branches.
Whoever the replacements for Dementia Jo and Kamala Sutra are, they have to do something about that Reform Act.

Kurt makes a huge assumption that the election will be honest enough to elect someone other than one of the elite or their selected figurehead.

I have to agree that we, who live in Florida, would not be happy to loose the BEST Governor we've had! That said, I think DeSantis is the right man to run this country in 2024. Every day he steps up with a new EX Order. Something with common Sense in it. He has done a stellar job getting our state through the Pandemic. Since then he has done everything he can to help Businesses get back on their feet. Most recently he announced those people on Unemployment, enjoying their windfall for the past year, will now have to report WHERE they are looking for a job. This will once again be a requirement to get your Check! I'm betting next, he will shut off the extra $300 a month added to their Unemployment check. It's my understanding the State has to apply to get the $300 for their state's unemployed. ND has already stopped those checks. Hopefully, FL will be next!

If and when the next Republican is elected president job one should be a thorough house cleaning of Democrat appointees with orders to his cabinet choices to do the same. Don't make the same mistake again.

Unlike when our country was created by mostly God fearing men, today's politicians are professional liars, evil worshipers of Satan.
Biden upon being sworn in as president immediately fired all U.S. attorney generals, ambassadors, who are not worshipers of Satan like the Marxist democrats, republicrats GOPe.

I propose dropping a nuke on D.C. during a normal work day right after the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights are removed to a safer location outside of the city.

Now that the Dems and RINOs have successfully instituted and solidified election by Dominion, and that President Trump’s team let it occur (even though they knew it would happen), it is unlikely there will be a President Desantis, or for that matter a President Anyone, who is not approved by the Chinese and the Corruptocrats.
If we are foolish enough to vote for a Republican (since that is pretty much the same as voting for a Democrat, except we can trust the Democrats to do something bad and be honest about it) it won’t matter unless they are as corrupt and aligned against we the People.
I’ll be voting for any sane third party candidate, or write in my votes.

It would be simple...look at WHO contributed to Democraps and delete their civil service position (the easy way to get rid of them). They then can be put on a 'no hire' list so they can't recycle. The bottom line, less positions for Democrap cronies, more room for real patriots. In any event we need to trim govt. employees at least 60%. I used to work for the govt. before retiring and I can assure you that almost all of the work is done by less than 15% of the people...the rest of them goof off and look for projects to 'join' uninvited so they have something to put on their work reports. I had to purge many of the do nothing idiots in my years and it always was a blessing to get rid of slackers...especially Democrap slackers, of which there were MANY!

Kurt Schlichter penned a column echoing my views. "Every keen observer understands that Donald Trump’s first and foremost failure as president was personnel." That's what comes with electing an "outsider". "Trump had no Rolodex..." Government is a different animal than running a wholly-owned corporation. PDT had no idea. He owed Sessions something. And Mad Dog talked a good, tough game. PDT relied on regular Fox News Contributors, like Bolton and Gorka, among many others. "Conservatives" loved these appointments, didn't they? Disasters all. Let's not forget how he had to pass personally on every hire his administration made. And then there are the three "originalist" appointments to SCOTUS taken right off the Federalist Society's good list.
Whether the next President is De Santis or PDT, whoever...the first order of the day needs to be restoring and strictly enforcing the traditional Hatch Act that effectively banned government employee political participation. The second should be the restoration of a pre-Luévano civil service based on actual merit through actual examination. Stop the tyranny of the EEO gurus and start hiring quality people to administer government. And no more money spent on "training" regarding "human relations" or any social bullshtuff.
Let's get value and a level of honest duty for the money. Many reforms require nothing more than a change of "policy." Oh, and a better government "for the people".

Unfortunately, I think the Civil Service laws make is very nearly impossible to 'fire all the bureaucrats'.
Perhaps assign all to work in a new tent city 100 miles north of Fairbanks might work. No need to fire them, they'd quit.

Looking over US Code 3562, Chapter 43, the removal from office of Senior Executive Service folks is very detailed and bureaucratic. It will not be simple to just "clear cut" these traitors, unfortunately.
Serious thought by folks expert in this evil bureaucracy will be needed to work out ways to make this work.
I really think that they might accomplish a whole lot by just announcing that entire departments were moving, NEXT WEEK, to say Pierre, SD, or Barrow, Alaska. And initially, temporary office quarters in old FEMA trailers would be provided for the first couple of years. "Temporary" WW2 barracks were used for the next 40 years at my university, for 'married housing' for students. Lots of possibilities to make them leave voluntarily.
