What’s Going On In the World?

When we look out on the world scene and how the Biden Administration is positioning itself, everyone should keep in mind the summary statement of former Defense Secretary and CIA director Robert Gates (no one’s idea of a partisan firebrand, as he’s been serving presidents of both parties since the Carter Administration): Joe Biden, Gates said, “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” Why would Biden change now? Two circumstances need close attention. The first is China, where the Chinese military is stepping up military exercises in close proximity to Taiwan. Is this a prelude to an invasion?

The worst case scenario would be China and Russia colluding with each other to invade the Ukraine (Russia) and Taiwan (China) at the same time. They might also convince Iran to go to war with Israel and the Norks to go to war with South Korea. The U.S. could do little about any of those individually let alone a combination.

History is a great source of insight into the evolution of great powers. The elites of America and our Western allies are ardent students of the past. The most significant transition in their minds is the rise of the Roman empire and the fall of the Greek Hellenist power. In the current narrative America is Greece and the Chinese are the Romans. The elite of Greece accepted the concept of "Thucydides trap". The recognized they were the declining power and Rome was ascending but they convinced the Romans to accept their notions of philosophy and politics like democracy. They determined that they could "influence" Rome and still maintain their cultural and economic power while not being involved in the militaristic conquest of empire that made Rome the world power it became. I think this illusion is prevalent in the people who fixed the election and defeated Trump and his national populist followers. Make America Great Again just doesn't fit in their plan to submit to the Chinese empire and make lots of money in the process. Biden is the perfect puppet to implement their plans for managed decline of America at the expense of its middle class and minorities.

Biden is a fool ---- but the leaders of this country put him in the presidential office. Those leaders are the same politicians and CEOs that want us to become Democrats and accept their creed in order to come into their stores to buy a loaf of bread. Worship the almighty Democrats, the devils from hell.

Disney Adds New Core Value: Wokeism 2 replies

Poor Walt. This man has probably turned over in his grave 100 times by now with all the antics of Disney. On Tuesday, April 13, Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro posted a blog on the Disney Parks website titled “A Place Where Everyone is Welcome,” because apparently they weren't very welcoming before, despite having Gay Days for 30 years. Right off the bat, you should have got the hint to grab a barf bucket for the spiel about "taking action to create meaningful change." The announcement included a video and narrative to explain the new addition to the longstanding tradition of The Four Keys: Inclusion.
Is the Special Election in Texas 6 a 'Canary

Texas is turning blue. We know because that’s what we’re told. Despite Donald Trump winning the state in 2020 and the 10 Democratic targeted House races all ending up in Republican hands, the state is getting bluer all the time. We know because… well, if the media tells us Republicans are sinking and Texas is where the “evidence” will appear next, naturally, the race to succeed Rep. Ron Wright, who died of COVID-19 in February, will be the “canary in the coal mine” according to Politico. If the special election in Texas is any indication for 2022, the GOP’s ongoing identity crisis will leave it with a real mixed-bag of candidates

A group of top Democratic Party pollsters are set to release a public statement Tuesday acknowledging “major errors” in their 2020 polling — errors that left party officials stunned by election results that failed to come close to expectations in November. In an unusual move, five of the party’s biggest polling firms have spent the past few months working together to explore what went wrong last year and how it can be fixed. It’s part of an effort to understand why — despite data showing Joe Biden well ahead of former President Donald Trump, and Democrats poised to increase

The alleged Israeli attack on Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility targeted an electrical substation located 40 to 50 meters underground and damaged “thousands of centrifuges,” Iranian officials revealed in recent days. Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani, former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, told Iranian media on Monday that the attack hit an electrical substation located deep underground and managed to damage both the power distribution system and the cable leading to the centrifuges in order to cut power to them. The Iranian official stressed that such an operation takes years, saying “the design of the enemy was very beautiful.”

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden has decided to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, 20 years to the day after al Qaeda's attacks triggered America's longest war, three sources familiar with the decision told Reuters. However, the withdrawal would be based on certain security and human rights guarantees, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity ahead of the formalization of the decision. The sources did not provide further details. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are expected to brief the decision to NATO allies in Brussels on Wednesday. Biden may also publicly announce his decision, the sources said.

Federal agencies will call to temporarily suspend the use of Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccines, after six recipients of the vaccine developed a blood clotting disorder. Almost seven million Americans have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is administered in a single dose. Six recipients, all of them women between ages 18 and 48, developed an extremely rare clotting disorder, known as cerebral venous thrombosis. The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will temporarily halt distribution of the vaccine at federal vaccination sites while an investigation is conducted into a possible link between the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the clotting disorder,

Townhall’s Julio Rosas posted a photo of rioters allegedly throwing projectiles at police: He explained that while police were focused on protecting the police building from one set of rioters, others were allegedly looting various stores at will.

Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging. Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump. These polls are the latest to indicate that Republicans mistakenly think that the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, when it clearly was. What's the point: Republicans have been pushing legislation at the state level to make voting at least somewhat more difficult than it was for the 2020 election. This has come in the wake of polls showing many Republicans doubt the election result. It is unclear
