The trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis officer charged in George Floyd’s death, is continuing Wednesday after the prosecution this week has called a parade of Minneapolis police officials to the stand who have condemned Chauvin’s use of force as excessive.
Instead of closing ranks to protect a fellow officer behind the so-called “blue wall of silence,” some of the most experienced members of the Minneapolis force, including Chief Medaria Arradondo himself, have testified against Chauvin.
Sacrificial lambs must be sacrificed. Fentanyl OD killed Floyd, but after the summer of blood, that doesn't even matter now.

I really don't care how Floyd died or that he died at all. He was a drain and hazard to society with nothing to offer to anyone. Even if officer Chauvin is cleared, the citizens and taxpayers of Minneapolis are paying more than Floyd was worth with the payout to his so called family. Now the people of this city will deal with the loss of police officers who will retire and quit rather than work under communist idiots who find criminals more important than taxpayers.

Maybe the protected classes should review the story of the boy who cried wolf. It doesn’t matter that he stated he did too much drugs. Chauvin subdued and had his knee on the perp’s shoulder. Drug abusing, rapey thug criminal died from his own actions and he hasn’t committed any crimes since that day.

Floyd was right. He ate too many drugs, and they killed him.
The police did nothing whatsoever to injury Floyd, and prevented him from continuing to harm himself, and called an ambulance.
The police are entirely innocent.

OP I fully approve of what Chauvind did to Floyd! Viewed by the delicate from a fainting couch in a safe lovely little world, it may seemed mean to put a massive violent thug that had just committed strong-armed-robbery into a forced time-out. But Floyd was physically resisting arrest and officer was trying to keep him in custody without getting killed in the process. The OD and heart attack was the work of Floyd, not Chauvind. Chauvind didn’t beat him to a bloody pulp, he restrained him.

The police body cams contradict the entire prosecutions case. They are available on line but you have to search. You won't find them on YouTube. Try this https://player.vimeo.com/video/458341529.

Actually, the prosecution insisted on a break then re-direct examined the witness from the PD who introduced that video.
They got him to say maybe George Floyd said, "I ain't done no drugs."
Yeah, sure.
That's why he had also admitted he had recently been "looping," or, inserting drugs in his rectum.

If he’s not sacrificed, all heck is going to break loose in this country. We all know what the verdict is going to be.

If I were a Police officer in Minneapolis I would be looking for another job.
When the Chief turns against you,it's time to leave.

I heard last week that class 3 if considered at over dose level of Fentanyl and Floyd's level was 11. Can any LDotters confirm this? Thanks.

I don't approve of what Chauvind did to Floyd but also I don't ignore the fact that Floyd died from an overdose and every statement in the article above shows what the mainstream media ignores Floyd was overdosed from Fentanyl!
