No Enemies to the Right? Wrong!

Is it, or should it be true that in order to win, we should follow the principle that there are "no enemies to the right?" On its face, the principle makes sense. After all, elections are won by adding together enough voters and voting blocs to get a plurality of the vote. Unless you have more voters than the other side(s), you lose. So if you see a group of voters who might be persuaded to vote along with you, it makes sense to either appeal to them or, at the very least, not criticize them. Yes! Great article. I love Matt Walsh and Megyn Kelly, but I was shockingly disappointed that they didn't call out Tucker. I understand that he is a friend. They don't have to disavow, denounce, or "unfriend" him. I would rather they say it publicly but I hope that, at least privately, they called him and said, "Buddy! You're saying and doing some pretty crazy stuff and it's causing anger and division in the conservative side." Most people didn't even know who Nick Fuentes is until Tucker gave him a platform and credibility, didn't push back or challenge him, and even seemed to agree with him. I don't know what has happened to Tucker. He seemed fine until just after the election. Then he went off the rails.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend is a logical fallacy. I watched Tucker's interview with Fuentes and found it informative. Tucker gave him rope and he hanged himself. Arguing with him would have only resulted in a circus.

Nothing New in Brussels 2 replies

The EU summit on Thursday in Brussels focused primarily on security issues. To put it bluntly: Ukraine must somehow turn its lost war against Russia into a victory, and the EU must be militarily ready for action by 2030. The fact that this would only be feasible with a functioning economy has apparently not yet dawned on the power center in Brussels. Instead, they are preparing for a major fiscal “liberation strike,” giving bureaucracy a lush boom of its own. When German chancellor Friedrich Merz traveled to Brussels for the EU summit, his fiery rhetoric about EU bureaucratization followed him closely. “Let me put it in very vivid terms:

There's an iron law of climate change: if something brings human beings joy, it must be destroying the planet. Could it be that happiness is the real enemy of climate cultists? Are they really so unhappy that they want everybody so unhappy that they will queue up for the suicide pods that liberals are so excited to roll out? In the days prior to news breaking about arrests being made concerning a National Basketball Association (NBA) cheating scandal, an interesting study was published by Oxford University’s Public Opinion Quarterly. Titled “To Report or Not to Report? A Qualitative Analysis of Journalists’ Perspectives on Harm to Public Opinion,” its abstract noted this: Journalists face intricate decisions regarding what to publish, especially when problematic content may impact public opinion in a way that could fuel hate and/or undermine democratic attitudes. Standing out in the study is the finding that “journalists who do not publish problematic content do so because they expect to negatively impact public opinion, in particular democratic attitudes,

Someone point this out to the "Qu**rs for Palestine" crowd: In Dearborn, Michigan, two 20-year-old men are under arrest for allegedly plotting a mass-shooting attack on LGBTQ+ bars in the area; they had obtained weapons, practiced with those weapons, and scouted targets. It's a matter of luck and sharp police work that they were caught before committing an atrocity. Two 20-year-old men who had acquired high-powered weapons and practiced at gun ranges were scouting LGBTQ+ bars in suburban Detroit in September for a possible Halloween attack, authorities said Monday in filing terrorism-related charges. Arctic Frost was the FBI investigation that tried to associate Donald Trump and many other Republicans with the January 6, 2021, Capitol protest. It was the basis for one of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictments of Trump. That indictment was dismissed. Senator Chuck Grassley has been on this case for a long time; whistleblowers approached him long ago to explain the corruption of the FBI and Joe Biden’s Department of Justice. Arctic Frost can best be seen as a continuation of the Russia Collusion Hoax and the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which sought to prevent Trump from being elected, and then to cripple his administration after he won the 2016 election.

By far the biggest disappointment for me last night was the victory by Democrat Jay Jones in the race for Attorney General of Viriginia. From the New York Post, Democrat Jay Jones unseats Virginia GOP attorney general Jason Miyares despite text scandal “Text scandal” Polls showed Jones and Miyares neck-and-neck ahead of election day, with the Democrat recovering from a drop in support after the emergence of his August 2022 comments fantasizing about the death of a Republican lawmaker and his family, in which he said that “only when people feel pain personally do they

Karine Jean-Pierre can't stop making history. Earlier this year, the former White House press secretary became the highest-ranking openly queer, French-born black woman with a hyphenated surname to publicly renounce the Democratic Party for being mean to Joe Biden. She is the only black female lesbian immigrant to publish a book about her time in the Biden administration. It is the worst political memoir ever written in the history of the English language. This is not hyperbole. It's an especially vacuous genre and highly competitive, to be sure. But imagine writing a book so bad it could shame Democrats and liberals into second-guessing their cult-like devotion to DEI. That's what Jean-Pierre

Lefty luminary Van Jones was among those raising alarm at Democratic socialist mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s rage-filled victory speech, noting his instant “character switch” at winning power. A roaring Mamdani wasted no time in claiming a mandate for his potentially budget-busting progressive agenda and taunting President Trump as he rallied his fired-up supporters soon after winning Tuesday night. Jones was quick to note live on CNN that the 34-year-old’s triumphant demeanor was a far cry from the cool, calm and collected candidate seen on the campaign trail. “I think he missed an opportunity.

New Yorkers elected their first socialist mayor Tuesday, handing far-left Democrat Zohran Mamdani an historic victory — as he claimed a mandate for his potentially budget-busting progressive agenda and all but declared war on President Trump. The Associated Press and NY1 called the race for the 34-year-old Mamdani about 40 minutes after polls closed at 9 p.m., inspiring cheers from his supporters at his campaign’s Brooklyn watch party. “New York, tonight you have delivered a mandate for change, a mandate for a new kind of politics, a mandate for a city that we can afford and a mandate for a government that delivers exactly that,”

New York City elected a communist to be its next mayor on Tuesday. Uganda-born Zohran Mamdani is projected to win more than 50 percent of the Big Apple. Over the next few days, professional Republicans will shake their heads and lament the outcome of the race. But few, if any, will acknowledge the truth: Mamdani’s victory is the direct result of mass immigration. New York City wasn’t lost to a communist because the radical left out-organized the Democrat establishment. New York City was lost to a communist because we lost control of our borders — not just our southern border, but every single border separating the United States from the rest

Supreme Court justices on Wednesday morning expressed skepticism about the legality of aggressive tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump against most of the world's nations. Conservative and liberal justices sharply questioned Solicitor General D. John Sauer on the Trump administration's method for enacting the tariffs, which critics say infringes on the power of Congress to tax. Lower federal courts have ruled that Trump lacked the legal authority he cited under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to impose the so-called reciprocal tariffs on imports from many U.S. trading partners, and fentanyl tariffs on products from Canada, China and Mexico.

Democrats dominated the first major Election Day since President Donald Trump returned to the White House. And while a debate about the future of the Democratic Party may have only just begun, there are signs that the economy — specifically, Trump’s inability to deliver the economic turnaround he promised last fall — may be a real problem for Trump’s GOP heading into next year’s higher-stakes midterm elections. Democrats on Tuesday won governor’s races in Virginia and New Jersey, the only states electing new chief executives this year. They also swept a trio of state Supreme Court contests in swing-state Pennsylvania and ballots measures from Colorado to Maine.

It's beginning to look like the prediction Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) made about the Democrats and the shutdown is right. He predicted that after the elections, we would get some movement from the Democrats to end the shutdown, because the shutdown was about juicing their base, trying to whip them up to get out to the polls. Once the elections were over, they would then try to find an off-ramp to end the shutdown and claim a victory. Surprise, surprise. Now we're hearing that Democrats are engaging with Republicans on reopening the government, according to Punchbowl.
