I knew when I saw a headline this morning about a foiled Halloween terror attack that it would be in Michigan—most likely Dearborn or Dearborn Heights. I grew up in the Warrendale neighborhood of Detroit, which borders the city of Dearborn. I could see the gold-domed Islamic Center of America from my grandparents' corner, or whenever I went to church at St. Thomas Aquinas, now Saint Juan Diego Parish, where I was baptized. We didn't trick-or-treat in Dearborn, as many of the houses didn't participate. Their Fordson High School soccer team beat ours every time. When I was young, we had no reason to believe that Dearborn would

Planning and training to kill kids out trick treating, then trying to describe them as just "home-grown radicals". "Moderate" Islam and "radical" Islam are made up terms by the West, there is only Islam, and the ones that were about to massacre kids are Muslims period. This will become common place if our cowardly, inept, politically over correct government does not start calling and ace and ace and a spade a spade remove and ban this threat.

I just watched a news report about this planned attack on Fox News. Not once were the words Muslim or Islam uttered by the news reader. The refusal to identify the threat is disturbing.

Young children at a non-public charter school sanctioned by the Ohio Department of Education are taught to memorize sections of the Quran. The Islamic Center of Mason Learning Academy was founded by Anila Zindani, a mother who wanted to teach her son the Islamic religious text. “Oh my God, it means the whole world to me,” she said in an interview with WCPO-TV. “This school is really special.” A reporter for the outlet noted that the mosque adjacent to the school is currently undergoing a $12 million expansion, which will include new classrooms for the school. They are still raising millions of dollars for the project.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem is reportedly considering hiring private contractors to locate and track illegal aliens across the country. According to a leaked DHS procurement document obtained by The Intercept, ICE plans to outsource “Skip Tracing and Process Serving Services” to private firms, providing them with government data on batches of 10,000 immigrants at a time, with potential escalations up to 1,000,000 cases. The proposal includes an “incentive-based pricing structure” with “monetary bonuses” for high performance, such as pinpointing a target’s address on the first try or successfully locating 90% of assigned individuals within deadlines.

The Trump administration’s latest attempts to curtail press leaks disallows White House reporters from accessing the inner offices of senior communication officials in the West Wing in order to protect national security secrets. A memo released to the reporters Friday evening addressed from the National Security Council (NSC) to President Donald Trump’s White House Communications Director Steven Cheung and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt states reporters should no longer freely walk into their offices, known as “Upper Press,” located in Room 140, just feet away from the Oval Office. The White House’s communications staff has also begun directing communications for the National Security Council due to a recent “structural change,” the memo states.

Joining at least two other Democrat-run states, Illinois lawmakers passed a bill on Friday prohibiting federal immigration agents from arresting illegal aliens near and around state courthouses. The Illinois bill, sent to anti-Trump Gov. JB Pritzker for signing, not only seeks to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations inside courthouses but establishes a 1,000-foot “buffer zone” outside of buildings, Capitol News Illinois reported. The bill also would allow Illinois residents to bring lawsuits against agents whom they allege violated their constitutional rights, including for due process and unreasonable search and seizures.

Oregon state Rep. Dwayne Yunker began asking questions when he discovered the state was using tax dollars to bring developmentally disabled clients to a strip club this past summer. Yunker—a Republican lawmaker in a very blue state with a Democrat super majority in the legislature—has exposed this and other controversial Medicaid spending in the state that has little or nothing to do with medical or health issues. On Monday, he will be in Washington meeting with members of Congress and Trump administration officials about looking into how his state—and likely others—are spending Medicaid dollars. Medicaid is a joint federal-state program intended to cover health care coverage

The 79-year-old ex-president, who suffered a health scare last year that left him hospitalized with a fever and suspected dehydration, was seen with a bandage wrapped around the tip of his nose during his embrace of Chelsea, 45, who has run several marathons in recent years. It is not immediately clear what caused Clinton’s injury. Accompanying him Sunday to cheer on Chelsea was wife Hillary.

Critics are saying the decorations cast doubt on whether Killough can rule fairly and impartially in cases before the court, especially as the Maryland Supreme Court is currently hearing a high-stakes environmental case. The government claims to fight “child poverty” by providing benefits to low-income families so their children don’t starve. These programs also cover the citizen children of illegal aliens. Eligibility is based on the parents’ income. However, illegal aliens working off the books do not have Social Security numbers, do not file income tax declarations, and are not even supposed to be employed. Because their income cannot be verified, the government simply accepts whatever number they write down. And if it is below threshold, the government gives them benefits. State and local SNAP offices have policies against sharing data with ICE for the purpose of arrest or deportation, allowing this fraud

Just last week, photos of construction equipment tearing down parts of the East Wing went viral on social media. Trump had previously said that the build for the new ballroom "won't interfere with the current building."

Plans by the Trump administration to freeze payments to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program on Saturday were halted by federal judges, but the delay in payouts will still likely leave millions of people short on their grocery bills.
