President Donald Trump’s push to help Americans over the age of 65 may be possible with a provision in the “big, beautiful bill,” which passed the Senate on Tuesday.
Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers noted that the bill “delivers on President Trump’s promise of No Tax on Social Security,” providing the “largest tax break in American history for our nation’s seniors.”
“The One Big Beautiful Bill provides a new bonus deduction of $6,000 for seniors age 65 and older ($12,000 for married seniors) beginning in 2025,” the overview explained, noting the provision, which does not wipe out taxes on Social Security, would be in addition to current standard deductions.

Two radicalized Florida men have been arrested and charged in connection with a chilling plot to commit mass murder, foment political violence, and “bomb the White House,” according to court documents.
Isaiah Oglesby, 23, and James Thomas Goolsby, 25, were taken into custody after the FBI was tipped off by a courageous girlfriend who recognized something deeply wrong in her boyfriend’s disturbing social media rants, FOX13 reported.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office followed through with a full investigation after the feds confirmed the suspects’ accounts.
According to a criminal complaint reviewed by FOX13, the men’s social media accounts were littered with apocalyptic rhetoric, antisemitic and anti-Christian hate speech,

President Donald Trump's promised, signature legislation, the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB--cry more, Chuck), passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 218-214, on an expected party line vote (aside from the two Republicans who voted against it). The White House announced that Trump will sign the bill into law at 5:00 p.m. EST on Independence Day, July 4. Love the bill or hate it, as former VP Biden said when Barack Obama's the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) legislation passed, this is a big, effin' deal.
Probably an even bigger one. It took Nancy Pelosi over nine months to ram through Obamacare,

Ben & Jerry's has a charitable foundation? Who knew?
Well, they do, and apparently they have been giving money to pro-Palestinian organizations, or at least that's what parent company Unilever thinks, and the ice cream brand founded by old hippies and marketed to old hippies has been resisting (hah) allowing their parent company to audit their records.
So Unilever is yanking their funding.
Unilever is reportedly cutting off millions of dollars in funding to the Ben & Jerry’s charitable foundation after it refused to provide audit documents about donations to pro-Palestinian groups, escalating an internal dispute between a corporate parent and its left-leaning subsidiary.

It's a sad fact of life and an awful commentary on our broken culture that churches need to have armed security guards.
But thank God that several men at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Mich., were armed and trained to respond to an attack. Their training and skills were put to the ultimate test on June 22, when Brian Anthony Browning, who was heavily armed and dressed in tactical gear, tried to enter the church. Their brave actions likely prevented the mass slaughter of Christians who were at the church that day to celebrate their annual Vacation Bible School program.

Twenty-four House Democrats have called on the Trump administration to close down “Alligator Alcatraz,” a brand-new illegal alien detention facility built in the Florida Everglades.
Led by Democratic Reps. Janelle Bynum (OR) and Maxwell Frost (FL), the House Democrats demanded that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Todd Lyons shut the facility down.
In the letter, the lawmakers called the facility an “inhumane stunt.”
“This remote swamp is notorious for oppressive heat, relentless humidity, severe storms, and perilous terrain infested with venomous snakes, disease-carrying insects, and large predatory wildlife, including alligators and crocodiles,” they wrote.

If you want to understand the full scope of the Biden administration’s border catastrophe, look no further than the horrifying reality that unfolded for thousands of migrant children. Under Joe Biden, the federal government didn’t just lose track of unaccompanied minors; it actively handed them over to criminals, abusers, and traffickers, putting these kids directly in harm’s way.
Under Biden, the Department of Homeland Security placed unaccompanied migrant children with so-called “sponsors” who were barely vetted, if at all. These weren’t just distant relatives or family friends. In many cases, these sponsors had rap sheets a mile long — charges ranging from aggravated assault

Wildfires have done an untold amount of damage this year in California, but one casualty of a Northern California fire will take your breath away. In Yolo County, a fire called the Oakdale Fire reached a warehouse storing fireworks, which led to an astonishing explosion near the town of Esparto.
Sacramento news station KCRA had a helicopter above the warehouse and was in the right place at the right time to catch the explosion. A massive fireball erupted, and fireworks began to detonate. [Video]
As of Tuesday night, law enforcement officials didn’t have a cause for the fire and explosion. The explosion led to a bevy of spot fires,

Investigators expect they’ve only uncovered the “tip of the iceberg” after Operation Road Test exposed a New York City scheme to get illegal aliens driver’s licenses. [Video]
As the downward spiral of Gotham continues, many are still hard at work upholding the law, and on Tuesday, that included announcing an indictment of 14 individuals alleged to have participated in a pay-to-drive scheme. Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon detailed during a press conference Tuesday that “hundreds if not thousands of people” may have illegally obtained licenses through T&E Driving School in Queens.

The Pentagon has halted shipments of some previously promised munitions to Ukraine at a key juncture of the country’s war with neighboring Russia due to the depletion of U.S. stockpiles during the Biden administration.
In news that was first reported by Politico, the decision was made after a review of munitions stockpiles “leading to concerns that the total number of artillery rounds, air defense missiles and precision munitions was sinking,” according to the usual anonymous sources of “three people familiar with the issue.”
The decision was driven by Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby, an appointee of President Donald J. Trump,

President Donald Trump must allow illegal migrants to file for asylum, regardless of the impact on his mandate to raise deportation rates, says a district court judge in Washington, D.C.
The administration must also “provide relief” to recently deported migrants who may want to file for asylum in the United States, the Wednesday judgment says.
The ruling by Judge Randolph Moss may crash Trump’s deportation policy because it would force officials to release migrants, or detain them at great expense while judges consider asylum pleas.
The judgment will be appealed, but it argues that the pro-asylum laws passed by Congress decades ago override Trump’s January 20 proclamation, “Guaranteeing the States Protection Against Invasion.”
