When HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says that sugar is poison, you need to listen to what comes next. He’s challenging us to become better informed about the foods we eat and the impact diet has on our long-term health. Sugar is not a poison, and neither are the many FDA-approved additives that are being targeted by popular influencers at the moment. The discussion is being driven by catchy slogans that side-step, rather than engage, science. After all, the landscape of social media isn’t built for nuanced science communication. Rather, it seems to be built for influencers selling products with their pseudo-science talking points.

I don't trust people saying what's good good for me, especially when they are at the influential Executive level.. Remember when Michelle Obama 'recommended' school lunches which were immediately served and thrown out?
Leave my food (and drug) decisions to me.

Mrs. Obama was not that serious. You could tell the scattered way the program was implemented that it was about a platform to enhance Michelle NOT something for the children. The kid’s drinks she hawks now on Amazon ? The ingredient list shows you she was never as serious about MAHA as this Trump administration is. This is going to take time. The parents have to be willing to take the bull by the horns and take a child’s diet seriously.

Sugar is in fruit, vegetables and carbs convert to sugar. Not much you can do about that but graze out in the field with the cows. You can't, nor should you, tell people what they can and can't eat. You can, however, demand the chemicals in our food be taken out.

Authorities in Lancaster, South Carolina, have charged six illegal immigrants between the ages of 13 and 21 in connection with the “random” May 2 murder of a mother who was driving to meet friends in Rock Hill. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office deputies located Larisha Sharrell Thompson, 40, deceased with a gunshot wound behind the wheel of her vehicle on Riverside Road in Lancaster, which is located about an hour south of Charlotte, North Carolina. On May 12, authorities announced the arrests of three adults, including Asael Aminadas Torres-Chirinos, 21; Jarby Ardon Ramos-Odari, 18; Jeyson Sobied Pineda-Salgado, 17; and three juveniles, ages 13, 14 and 15, in connection with Thompson’s death

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin hinted Monday that he’s preparing to roll back one car feature that every driver “hates.” “Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy,” Zeldin tweeted Monday in a post that has since racked up more than 8 million views. “EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it.” The feature kills internal combustion engines at red lights and has been touted by proponents for being able to conserve fuel and cut down on pollution. Critics have questioned whether the feature can wear down the car’s battery or engine more quickly.

David Hogg, who emerged as a gun control advocate and political activist after he survived the horrible 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida, has shaken up the Democrat party and caused intense navel-gazing and infighting among the ranks. You see, after the 25-year-old was voted in as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, he continued to agitate and raise money for party candidates who were challenging Dem incumbents—in effect, going directly against the DNC’s core mission. Now some want him gone, and on Monday night, they took action [snip] Hogg isn’t taking it well

Somewhere between 10 million and 12 million illegal aliens were invited into the United States by the Biden administration. As far as logistics go, former President Joe Biden could not flee Afghanistan without getting 13 Marines killed and abandoning to the terrorist Taliban $50 billion in munitions, a billion-dollar embassy and a $300 million retrofitted huge airbase. But Biden and his handlers proved far more logistically capable when their target was fellow Americans. After all, they somehow managed to stop the congressionally approved continuance of the border wall, subvert federal immigration law, emasculate the border patrol and ensure that millions of people around the world could simply walk into the US illegally,

Police are calling for an official investigation and charges against a city councilwoman for allegedly assaulting officers and inciting a violent mob trying to stop the arrest of an illegal alien criminal suspect in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is another in a slew of incidents where government officials have stepped in to try to block immigration enforcement as the Trump administration cracks down on aliens with criminal records in the U.S. A local police union argued over the weekend that Etel Haxhiaj, who represents Worcester’s District 5, helped incite the mob into assaulting ICE officers and cops during the Department of Homeland Security operation that escalated out of control Friday.

Less than 48 hours after rolling out a fact-checking website designed to target "right-wing misinformation," California Governor Gavin Newsom was caught using stock footage from Ukraine and Estonia in an ad promoting his state's economy. The ad, released initially on X and set to run on “Fox and Friends” this weekend, criticizes President Donald Trump’s tariffs while touting California's supposed economic strength. An overly excited Newsom, however, shared it with his followers on X first. Viewers quickly pointed out that the ad, meant to show the greatness of the Golden State, contained stock footage from a pair of European countries.

Parents, do you know what your kids are doing online? If not, the answer may terrify you. Last month, the FBI issued a warning about the growing threat of violent online networks targeting minors. Lurking on gaming platforms, social media or self-help forums, members of these networks lavish attention on their targets. After the grooming comes the demands: that victims carve occult symbols or the names of their abusers onto their bodies (a practice known as “fansigning”). That they share sexually explicit videos or mutilate their pets on camera. That they livestream their own suicides. When victims disengage, they’re doxed and swatted, threatened with violence, blackmailed or extorted. Most victims are teens. Some are younger.

Stephen Miller’s America First Legal (AFL) has filed a bombshell lawsuit against Chief Justice John G. The lawsuit accuses the powerful duo of running what AFL describes as an “unconstitutional shadow agency” and violating federal transparency laws. The lawsuit, filed on April 22, slams the Judicial Conference of the United States and its administrative arm—both overseen by Chief Justice Roberts—as rogue “executive agencies” that have collaborated with far-left lawmakers to wage lawfare against conservative Supreme Court justices.

Democrat Rep. Shiri Thanedar (MI) has introduced a resolution to force a chamber-wide impeachment vote against President Trump. Thanedar introduced “his impeachment resolution as privileged on Tuesday afternoon, meaning leaders have two days of the House in session to take up the legislation,” per Fox News. No House Republicans have signaled support for the measure, and leaders could potentially keep lawmakers from voting on impeachment at all. When deeming his resolution privileged, Thanedar said the president “has unlawfully conducted himself, bringing shame to the presidency and the people of the United States,” while calling the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) a “flagrantly unconstitutional creation.” Democrats have not backed the impeachment resolution,

The proposal appears to accept the idea that Crimea was once part of Russia and that returning it to Russia would restore historical justice. It echoes the imperial narrative Putin himself has long advanced: that modern Russia is the rightful heir to the entire Russian Empire[snip] Crimea was never part of Russia, and the Russian Federation is not a successor to the entire Russian Empire.

The days of rogue district court judges hijacking executive authority may finally be numbered. On Thursday, the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments in a consolidated case, Trump v. Despite the constitutional authority granted to the executive branch on immigration matters, three district judges issued sweeping nationwide injunctions halting the order. Now, the highest court may have the chance to rein in judicial overreach and restore balance between the branches of government. Since President Trump began his second term,
