Yet another federal judge has blocked one of President Donald Trump’s policies. This time, the issue is an executive order intended to improve election integrity.
US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued a partial preliminary injunction on an order that would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, CBS News reported. It would also mandate that all ballots must be received by Election Day.
The judge blocked the Trump administration from implementing two provisions of the executive order signed by the president last month: the first orders the Election Assistance Commission, a federal independent regulatory commission, to add a "documentary proof of U.S. citizenship"

Medical schools nationwide are forcing students to promote left-wing ideologies on race, gender, and obesity at the expense of proper patient care, according to a new watchdog report released on Thursday.
The comprehensive investigation, produced by non-profit group Speech First, examined 54 public medical schools across the United States, seeking to document how “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) mandates are being enforced throughout medical education.
“This ideological conformity is required not only of students but also of faculty, who are often tasked with serving as enforcers of these mandates,” the report explains, noting that ideological requirements begin as early as the admissions process.

Trump critics often engage in what Federalist contributor Inez Stepman calls the “Hitler also ate breakfast” fallacy: pointing out some tertiary or non-evil habit of Adolf Hitler’s like driving in a car or having an affinity for tariffs, and drawing a comparison to Trump, as if any mundane activity in which Hitler ever engaged is necessarily and permanently fascist-coded. In a 1,700-word thinkpiece published Wednesday, Washington Post opinion columnist Carolina Miranda used that blueprint to draw parallels between President Donald Trump and a new historical villain — the famously absolutist King Louis XIV of France — based on similarities in their interior decorating taste.

While plotting upcoming protests, Rep. Delia Ramirez, D-Ill., urged demonstrators to target congressmen at church.
“Folks, colleagues of mine should not be able to go to church or to go to the neighborhood gas station — if they pump their own gas, because I work with a lot of billionaires,” Ramirez said. “They should not be able to, without seeing community asking them ‘What the hell are you doing [for] my Social Security? What the hell are you doing to protect my Medicaid? Why the hell are you not standing up to protect public education in this country?’”

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan have teamed up to call for the Trump administration to end the undisclosed detention of illegal immigrants, following the discovery of a couple of hundred cases that this has recently occurred along the northern border.
The ACLU and Tlaib called for a slew of changes to how U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) detains people in its custody, including an end to detention more than three days; actions that keep families together; and the creation of a digital system online that reports who is in its custody.

Let’s talk about Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and his absolutely abysmal attempt at throwing a football in a recent X post.
The Wednesday video, meant to hype up the following day’s 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, is just … Wow. Words can’t do it much justice, so you need to watch it for yourself below:
Evers, a Democrat, awkwardly grips the ball with both hands, his body stiff as a board, and delivers a throw that looks like it wouldn’t make it five yards.
Yes, it’s not exactly shocking that Evers, a 73-year-old career educator turned politician, doesn’t have the arm of Brett Favre.
But what’s truly stunning is that neither he

Longtime Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur is facing a new Republican challenger in Ohio's 9th Congressional District in the form of Air Force veteran Alea Nadeem, who spoke exclusively to Fox News Digital about her campaign.
"This country saved me, I owe my life to this country," Nadeem, a northwest Ohio native, told Fox News Digital, recounting her harrowing life story of being kidnapped by her father and taken to Iraq, where she lived under the rule of Saddam Hussein before the U.S. government worked to bring her back.
Nadeem joined the Air Force in response to the events of 9/11 and never planned on leaving the nonpartisan military world for politics until

As I write nearby, the decades-long problem of Mexico sending its raw sewage gushing into the Tijuana River and polluting the beaches of the U.S. has grown worse in the past few years with the huge population growth in Tijuana, Mexico. But now it’s affecting America’s national security interests, and s*** just got real.
The Mexican sewage problem has been a five-alarm issue since before then-Imperial Beach Mayor Brian Bilbray hopped aboard a bulldozer and created a berm to stop the river from flowing into an environmentally delicate area. When the cops came to stop him and the protest surrounding it, he said he’d be back with a permit

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg recently opened up about the adoption process he and his husband went through on their journey to adopt their two children, explaining he was shocked to learn of the racial disparities in the process.
“By the way, anybody who says race is not a thing in this country should experience an adoption process where there are literally different lists,” Buttigieg said during an appearance on the “Flagrant” podcast released Wednesday. “If you say that you want a white kid only versus if you say that doesn’t matter. Like, literally a different list.”

President Trump's meme coin, which had slumped 88% from its most recent high, got a boost Wednesday after its website invited the top 220 holders of the digital token to an "intimate private dinner" with the president.
After the dinner offer was posted on the $TRUMP meme coin website and X account, the value of the meme coin surged as much as $5.32, or 58%, to $14.32 on Wednesday afternoon. That gain only partially erased the meme coin's decline in value, which hit a peak of $75.35 on January 19 the day before Mr. Trump's inauguration.
The dinner offer promises $TRUMP coin investors the opportunity to "Hear close-up,

Twice-defeated candidate Stacey Abrams (D.) is eyeing another run for governor of Georgia, even as state Democratic leaders warn that her opportunity has passed and urge fresh contenders to step forward.
"She's run twice, and that's enough to convince me she won't win," Jimmy Johnson, the former chairman of the Appling County Democratic Committee, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Johnson said that "some other Democrat" could topple GOP dominance in Georgia.
"Abrams is great, but she missed the train," said Marilyn Langford, a vice chair of the group Georgia 9th District Democrats.
The perpetual candidate's potential third bid follows her back-to-back defeats to Gov. Brian Kemp

Mourners waiting in line to view the body of Pope Francis as he lies in state inside St. Peter’s Basilica are complaining about the number of people taking selfies.
The Bishop of Rome passed away on Monday morning, as the Vatican announced, following a prolonged period of poor health. Pope Francis was 88 years old at the time of his death.
Vatican officials released photos of Francis in his velvet-lined coffin on Tuesday. The Holy Father is laid out wearing a red robe with the papal mitre on his head and a rosary intertwined in his hands.
