As World War II raged, the US became the reluctant home for hundreds of thousands of Nazi soldiers – many still rabidly loyal to Hitler and determined to keep fighting for him at any cost. Even if it meant murdering their own comrades in cold blood.
Living in more than 600 hastily set-up POW camps, scattered in small farm towns across rural America, nearly 400,000 German soldiers settled into their new routine – enjoying a set up so comfortable, many dubbed the camps the Fritz Ritz.[snip]
the most dangerous Nazis carried on the war from inside the barbed wire, establishing small but devoted enclaves of Nazi Germany on American soil.

The 60,000 contested ballots in the North Carolina state Supreme Court race should be recounted and verified, according to a ruling Friday from a panel of the state appeals court.
The 2-1 ruling is a win for Republican state Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin, who is trailing incumbent Democratic Justice Allison Riggs by fewer than 1,000 votes.
Riggs and the Democratic Party declared victory months ago after all the votes counted had her ahead, but Griffin has challenged the validity of certain ballots for various reasons, pursuing a lawsuit that’s prevented the state elections board from certifying Riggs as the winner five months after Election Day.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed new controls into law last week, including one that allows credit cards to track ammunition purchases.
She described the ammunition control as one that “[refines] how credit card companies track purchases at gun dealerships.”
Hochul noted, “This gives law enforcement the opportunity to find out exactly who may be stockpiling ammunition. And this is an indicator that something untoward could be happening, so it’s an important data point for us to have.” North Country Now pointed out the credit card tracking will occur via the use of a new merchant code,

A fundraiser for the Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms has raked in over $60,000 as of Sunday — as the teen maintains he acted in self-defense.
The GiveSendGo campaign was purportedly set up by the family of Karmelo Anthony, 17, who cops say confessed to the horrific stabbing at a track meet in Frisco, Texas, last Wednesday.[snip] The company, which also hosted a fundraiser that brought in hundreds of thousands for Daniel Penny’s legal defense after he was charged in the NYC subway chokehold death,

Tucker Carlson caused a stir in a recent interview that may cause some Americans to do a double take on the vehicles they are driving.
During an interview with automotive designer and internet personality Casey Putsch last week, Tucker mentioned that he is a lifelong fan of Chevrolet trucks but felt he had to “immediately” sell his latest one after spotting a disturbing message on the car’s dashboard.
“I bought a truck last year…A Chevy truck, which I’ve always had, and I was at a gas station, he said. “And all of a sudden at a gas station, it says, ‘Stop, we’re downloading information from the internet.'”

The attorney for Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old accused of murdering football star Austin Metcalf at a Texas track meet, insists he doesn’t have “any reason” to think the killing “wasn’t in self defense” — and will request the teen’s bond be lowered from $1,000,000.[snip]
he was charged with fatally stabbing Metcalf, also 17, and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms during the athletic event in Frisco Wednesday morning.
After briefly meeting with the teenager for the first time on Friday afternoon, Anthony’s attorney Deric Walpole told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that at this point in time he believes his client acted in self defense

Yesterday afternoon (4/3) Judge Irving of the DC Superior Court denied Michael E. Mann's request to stay enforcement of the half million-dollar judgement he has been order to pay National Review:
Here, Dr. Mann does not give any specifics as to his assets, net worth, or liquidity in support of his request....
Nor did the trial record establish the extent of Dr. Mann's assets, net worth, or liquidity at present: The only substantiated figures were drawn from Dr. Mann's W-2s from 2012 to 2017, showing an annual income of at most $198,877.40....Dr. Mann's perfunctory and unsubstantiated assertions plainly do not meet his burden

The U.S. government has issued a sweeping diktat prohibiting American diplomats, their families and security-cleared contractors in China from engaging in romance or sex with Chinese citizens.
The Associated Press reported on the move, citing four people with direct knowledge of the decoupling policy which was put into effect by departing U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns in January shortly before he left China.
The “no sex” policy applies to staff at the U.S. embassy in Beijing and consulates in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang and Wuhan, as well as the consulate in Hong Kong.
U.S. personnel stationed outside China or those already in pre-existing relationships with Chinese citizens might be exempt,

I've never heard anything good about the United States Institute for Peace.
It's been in bed with neocons, coupmeisters, and the Soros color revolution crowd for years. The quasi-government agency that runs like a private NGO is always sneaky and non-transparent.
So it didn't surprise me a bit to learn that USIP showed unusual resistance to anyone poking into their spending from DOGE. {tweet]
Did you hear how the staff as USIP acted when DOGE showed up?
They literally BARRICADED themselves in their offices, cut the phone lines and power to elevators, sabotaged office equipment and the Head of USIP had to be arrested & removed.

What happened with Marine Le Pen, the most popular politician in France who was just banned from standing for election on the flimsiest of pretenses, is no exception. It’s becoming the rule around the West and in other places, too, where being outside the mainstream of authorized establishment left-leaning globalist politics has become criminalized. In some places, like the UK and Spain, it takes the form of persecuting people for saying things that those in power don’t want to hear. [snip]But it’s the criminal persecution of leaders that is becoming the go-to. It happened to Bolsonaro in Brazil, Netanyahu in Israel, Georgescu in Romania, and Le Pen in France

The Democratic Party has filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump over an executive order designed to maintain integrity in federal elections.
Because, of course they are.
The suit, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on Monday, cites several plaintiffs, including most notably the Democratic National Committee (DNC), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
It's nice that Schumer and Jeffries got over their tiff long enough to join forces to stop the President from keeping non-citizens from voting.
"In the United States of America, the President does not get to dictate the rules of our elections," the court filing reads.

The US has taken Europe on as Step-Countries for 80 years. It's long past time they were thrown out of the nest.
What's the term used derisively for Europeans: Euroweenies? Schlichter agrees.
