FEMA Director Deanne Criswell Leaves

FEMA Director Deanne Criswell departed the agency on Monday as President Trump’s new administration began. Criswell has faced strong criticism in response to how the agency has handled recent hurricanes. Criswell oversaw the government’s response to numerous major hurricanes, the Maui fires and the recent Los Angeles County fires. “It has been an honor serving as [FEMA] Administrator for nearly four years. The FEMA family takes immense pride in our mission of helping people before, during and after disasters. I know the agency will continue to serve the nation as we support this peaceful transition of power,” Criswell wrote on X.

It's nice that Biden's leftovers, unlike The Terminator, CAN self terminate. It's too bad we can't lower them into a vat of molten metal to finish the job.

Liz Cheney's pardon from former President Joe Biden might be keeping her warm at night as she wanders the frozen political wasteland of her own making, but she might not want to get too comfortable with her current situation. On Wednesday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced the formation of a new J6 subcommittee that will be tasked with continuing the investigation into "all events leading up to and after January 6." This new committee replaces the Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight, and will once again be chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA). Here's the interesting twist: it will now fall under the purview of

President Donald Trump has come in like a whirlwind and as Fox News' Greg Gutfeld put it, he's done more in 24 hours than Joe Biden probably did in all his time occupying the Oval Office. It's been pretty stunning so far. (X) You know how much Trump is doing by the fits being thrown by the Democrats. Among the Democrats throwing hissies, there was new Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA). Schiff tried to suggest that Trump's executive actions would somehow result in more wildfires and floods.

Senate Democrats who are considering holding up the confirmations of President Donald Trump’s cabinet appointments might want to rethink that course of action. The president recently threatened to adjourn Congress so he can make recess appointments for some of his nominees. This move would be unprecedented and would likely meet with a chorus of wailing and gnashing of teeth from the left. However, it appears Trump is willing to make this gambit, according to CBS News. President Trump is threatening to use his powers to adjourn Congress so he can make recess appointments for at least some of his top Cabinet nominees and their deputies,

CNN boss Mark Thompson reportedly plans to announce mass layoffs Thursday – just days after he warned top on-air talent including Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper that they ought to avoid “pre-judging” President Donald Trump. The ratings-challenge cable news pioneer will lay off hundreds of employees as it refocuses the business around a global digital audience, CNBC reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The job cuts come as CNN, owned by Warner Bros Discovery, looks to rearrange its linear TV lineup and build out digital subscription products, CNBC said, adding that it will help CNN lower production costs and consolidate teams. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday rescinding President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Executive Order 11246, which mandated government contractors take affirmative action. The order more broadly ceases diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) “discrimination in the federal workforce, and in federal contracting and spending,” the White House noted. The federal government’s hiring practices will now be merit-based, with employees being rewarded for “individual initiative, skills, performance, and hard work.” One major facet of Trump’s move is terminating Johnson’s 1965 order.

Nothing more highlights the reasons why President Trump (and Republicans) won, why the Kamala/Biden regime lost, and proves Biden’s corruption than the pardons given by Joe in the final days of his failed presidency. In one of Biden’s final interviews, he ranted that he is “concerned about how fragile democracy is,” implying that President Donald J. Trump (DJT) is a threat to our democracy. Hey Joe -- nothing makes our republic more fragile than having a dishonest president intent on becoming wealthy, and making family members wealthy using criminal means similar to those of organized crime, along with a corrupt Department of Justice and equally corrupt FBI that refused

Joe Biden’s issuance of preemptive pardons to family members and political allies has been criticized by legal experts who argue that such actions may not offer comprehensive legal protection. On Monday, just hours before leaving office, Joe Biden granted preemptive pardons to individuals including Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, and members of the House January 6 Committee, such as former Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Additionally, he pardoned five family members: his brothers James and Francis Biden, his sister Valerie Biden Owens, and their spouses.

President Trump proved once again on Tuesday there is no one better at handling the corporate media, and one woke reporter learned the hard way. During a press conference on Tuesday at the White House, Trump announced the creation of an American AI company called ‘Stargate.’ This project, launched with OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank, will invest $500 billion in America and potentially create 100,000 new American jobs. However, the media had little interest in this and decided to launch attacks on Trump regarding his decision to free the J6 political prisoners. As TGP readers know, Trump on Monday pardoned over 1,500 of these protesters who had suffered unbearable cruelty

First, on the immigration questions, Gutfeld aptly noted that you don’t need to like everything in a restaurant to like the establishment. That’s the typical authoritarian tendency of the Left—you must like or comply with everything they say, including candidates.
