Reports: Pelosi's Injuries in Luxembourg
Are Quite Serious

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is recovering at a hospital in Luxembourg. [Snip] Ms. Pelosi tripped going down marble stairs at the Grand Ducal Palace and took a hard fall,... [Snip] People close to Ms. Pelosi in California and Washington, D.C., speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak for her, said the former speaker fractured her hip when she fell. They said doctors were confident the damage could be repaired with a routine operation, but it was not yet clear whether that would be done in Luxembourg or in the United States.

Seriously, broken hips in older women especially "active" women like Mrs Pelosi carries a high percentage of mortality in the two years following the injury.

Apparently it is now a hotel. Looks like a potential for a serious fall. Hard as steel and a reasonably steep set of stairs. My wife and I a number of years ago specifically have spoken about the need to always keep on hand on the railing when going up and down ANY stairs. I didn't used to worry much about it, but....I'm not as young as I used to be. I think this may be the stairs. https://elegantgates.com/uploads/images/grandducalpalaceoriginal870.jpg

Approximately 30% of seniors who fall and break a hip die within a year. Of the remaining 70%, a surprisingly high percentage lose their independence. In the opening three months of President Trump’s ambitious “flood the zone” second term, we have witnessed activist federal courts issue a tsunami of national injunctions against the executive branch. Rep. Bob Onder, R-Mo., recently described the third branch’s overzealous blocking of Trump’s executive orders as a “judicial coup d’etat.” [Snip] Over the Easter Weekend, a courage-deficient, seven-justice Supreme Court issued what dissenting Justice Samuel Alito described as a “middle of the night” ruling temporarily blocking the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan illegal immigrants under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

In 2018, Eugenio Scalfari reported the words that Bergoglio supposedly confided to him about his vision of the afterlife: “Sinful souls are not punished: those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and join the ranks of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear. There is no hell, sinful souls simply disappear”. These heretical ravings are directly opposed to the Catholic Faith, which teaches us that there is a particular Judgment for everyone, which Bergoglio could not escape. His soul has therefore not disappeared, nor has it dissolved: he will have to account for the crimes he has committed,...

The report by the Post is the latest, however, to raise questions about the extent of the damage to Iran's nuclear program.
