Homeland Security greenlighted refugee applications for Venezuelan gang members after immigration officers failed to spot their gang tattoos, The Washington Times has learned. Kevin Grigsby, head of refugee operations at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, said “several” members of the vicious Tren de Aragua gang were approved and made it to the U.S. border before a different agency spotted the tattoos and blocked them from entering. Experts said tattoos are a common indicator of gang membership and expressed shock that USCIS was missing those red flags

Two big media polls dropped today, and both of them look like bad news for Democrats -- especially Harris. Despite the shrieking hysteria coming from the campaign and the media (but I repeat myself!) about how dangerous Donald Trump is, voters like Trump more ... and Kamala less.
Let's start with the Wall Street Journal poll, where Trump has "opened a narrow lead" among registered voters, who usually lean a bit more Democrat. Duane mentioned this poll at the end of his post about the CNN town hall, but it's worth exploring a little further:

The Kamala Harris campaign has been hyping the fact that singer Bruce Springsteen would be performing at her rally in Georgia tonight. The media has been talking about it non-stop as well.
They would have been better off to not mention it at all.
Springsteen did a rendition of his hit 1980s song ‘Dancing in the Dark’ and sounded positively terrible. It was so bad that it sounded like someone was doing an impersonation of Bruce Springsteen and doing it badly on purpose.
