The chronic sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome — both Democrats and Republicans — would have people believe that their only goal is to make sure that Donald Trump stays out of the Oval Office and leaves politics. The implication is that he's a singular problem and that they'll be just fine once Orange Man Bad is out of the American political picture. Never Trump TDS is an uncontrolled, snot-bubbling temper tantrum, however. Any parent who's lived through the toddler years knows that those don't end so easily.
