Suffs, the feminist Broadway musical that counts Hillary Clinton as one of its main producers, is officially a box-office bomb, with the show announcing a closing date after reportedly failing to turn a profit after nearly six months.
The musical — a nearly three-hour celebration of the suffragette movement, featuring a cast comprised entirely of women and gender “non-binary” performers — cost $19 million to produce, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing reviewed by the New York Times. That money has not been recouped, with ticket revenue failing to cover the weekly cost of operations.
Producers announced Friday that Suffs will close January 5 —

The White House released Vice President Kamala Harris’ medical report on Saturday, which conveniently claims she is in “perfect health” to serve as the commander-in-chief.The report states that Harris “Possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.”
“Vice President Harris remains in excellent health,” Army physician Dr. Joshua R. Simmons wrote. "She possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief."

Univision hosted a “Latinos Ask” town hall with Kamala Harris on Thursday night, and it was about as airheaded and disingenuous as you’d expect. Here was one word salad from the first five minutes — remarkably in response to a question about the two hurricanes that just decimated the southeast of the country:
Leadership is about understanding the importance of lifting people up, understanding that the character of our country is such that we are a people who have ambitions and aspirations, dreams, goals for ourselves and our families, (snip)That’s a lot of ambitions. After one voter observed that Harris was never elected to be the Democrat nominee but just magically

I think Kamala Harris would be a horrible person to put in office. I don't even think she should be occupying the office she's in now. (Snip) But I have to admit, when I saw Tim Walz trying to load his gun during his pheasant hunt in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, on Saturday, I did have an "OMG" moment. I was concerned for his safety and the safety of the people around him because of the trouble he was having just to try to load it. Has he ever used this gun before? Shades of Elmer Fudd.

Former President Obama is drawing backlash for recent comments calling on Black men to turn out for Vice President Harris in November’s election.
At a campaign stump for Harris on Thursday in Pittsburgh, Obama said that despite Harris raising upward of $1 billion, “we have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running.” That lag in energy, he added, appears “to be more pronounced with the brothers.”
“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses; I’ve got a problem with that,” he said. “Because part of it makes me think -

I swear to God that this is not about polls, although that Quinnipiac poll on Wednesday shook me up a little. And I understand that it’s hard to determine anything real with all the smoke and noise surrounding the campaign right now. And I also understand that a good fraction of my fellow citizens will believe anything they pick up while Doing Their Own Research on the Intertoobz. And I also understand that a larger fraction of my fellow citizens have surrendered to the Cult of the Vulgar Talking Yam.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Velshi,” Harris-Walz Campaign Co-Chair Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said that the problems in Springfield, OH are 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump “and his minions, the problems aren’t the people that have come to make our economy stronger, the people that have actually been able to help to continue to make sure that we got out of the big hole that he put us in after COVID-19 with his ineptness.”

I’m so old I remember when we learned about advertising fakery by ordering stuff like sea horses and x-ray vision glasses from the back of comic books. Younger generations caught on when they compared what they’d seen in the TV ads with the actual products. For voters this time around all they have to do is scan X online. The sea horse ads were better fakes than the Harris-Walz team is churning out. Of course, there is the candidates’ utter failure in public appearances -- such as they are -- to show Harris-Walz viewers that they are phony, unserious contenders for the highest offices in the land.

As President Trump takes the lead in several key swing states with just a few weeks left before the general election, liberals are starting to panic and becoming more deranged. Fox News’s Jessica Tarlov is no exception.
As TGP readers know, Tarlov is one of the most noxious leftists in the media landscape who never fails to slander Trump and excuse Democrat shenanigans. “The Five” co-host was even forced to issue a humiliating on-air correction about former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski after his lawyer threatened a lawsuit.
Tarlov appeared on Friday night to discuss the race between Trump and Harris.

Nearly 450 7-Eleven stores across North America are closing for underperforming, according to the company. Seven & I Holdings, 7-Eleven’s Japan-based parent company, announced in an earnings report Thursday that 444 7-Eleven stores are closing because of a dip in sales, particularly cigarette sales, as well as decreased traffic and inflation. A list of which stores will be closing was not released. 7-Eleven has 13,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada, which means the closures would only impact 3% of the company’s portfolio.
The convenience store chain has faced six consecutive months of traffic declines, including a 7.3% dip in August.
