Now that there is more than a nonzero chance of former President Donald Trump returning to The White House, the Regime Media are suddenly freaked out over the possibility of the government being weaponized against political opposition. The key word here being suddenly.
This report, which has to be watched in its entirety to be believed, was filed by correspondent Vaugh Hillyard and pretends to exist in a time and space where government has not already been weaponized (click “expand” to view full transcript): NBC NIGHTLY NEWS

GAWD, this is such weak sauce, even out of Harris.
But what did I expect, right?
And she's playing to a friendly audience - GO FIGURE - when she called in to be "interviewed" on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, a top-rated podcast. The guy has a lot of X followers - over a million - and while I don't know anything about him, he does seem to have quite a substantial listener base and has declared himself to be a huge Kamala fan.
All things considered, that's just the friendly, cozy, and unthreatening environment that might persuade our gunshy Vice President to peep her head

ABC News program World News Tonight has shown an overall positive spin on its reporting of Vice President Kamala Harris, versus its overall negative reporting on former President Donald Trump, according to a recent report.
A report from the Media Research Center’s (MRC) NewsBusters found that an analysis of “100 campaign stories” aired on World News Tonight, hosted by David Muir, found “25 clearly positive statements” made about Harris from “reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources,” which represented a 100 percent positive spin on the outlets reporting for Harris.
The 100 campaign stories that MRC reviewed stemmed from July 21, when Harris entered the 2024 presidential race, to September 6.

Former New York governor Andrew Cuomo personally edited a government report that undercounted the Covid deaths that resulted from his March 2020 directive forcing nursing homes to admit coronavirus-positive patients, a congressional panel concluded.
The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) issued a report in July 2020 faulting nursing homes for the spread of coronavirus in their facilities at the direction of Cuomo administration officials who “heavily edited” the document, the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus pandemic said in a memo released Monday.

James Earl Jones, the prolific film, TV and theater actor whose resonant, unmistakable baritone was most widely known as the voice of “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader, died Monday morning at his home in Dutchess County, N.Y., his rep confirmed to Variety. He was 93.
After overcoming a profound stutter as a child, Jones established himself as one of the pioneering Black actors of his generation, amassing a bountiful and versatile career spanning over 60 years, from his debut on Broadway in 1958 at the Cort Theatre — renamed the James Earl Jones Theatre in 2022 — to his most recent performance in 2021’s “Coming 2 America.

Federal prosecutors announced charges Monday against two people associated with ‘Terrorgram,’ an online network of white supremacists that encouraged attacks on Black, gay and immigrant targets, as well as assassinations of high-ranking American officials.
Authorities said Dallas Erin Humber and Matthew Robert Allison promoted “the collapse of government and the rise of a white ethno-state” and had a global reach, inspiring attacks in Turkey and Slovakia as well as in the U.S.
They used Telegram, a messaging app, to spread “target” lists, complete with addresses, and they disseminated how-to videos and manuals for making letter bombs and “dirty bombs” that mixed conventional explosives with radioactive material, according to the federal indictment.

You know, the nearer her destination, the more Kamala Harris is slip slidin' away.
On the eve of the one, and probably only, debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, the polling continues to show the air is leaking out of the tires of her campaign. And unless the debate proves to to be a gamechanger for her, it appears the history books will record that the country reached peak Kamala about 10 days ago, and the waters continued receding all the way to November. Real Clear Politics, in their average of averages between Trump and Harris, showed the Vice President with her biggest

After nearly two months of being in the presidential race, Kamala Harris finally got around to putting some "policies" on her website, and they are the perfect encapsulation of why she's such an awful candidate.
Harris has yet to give a press conference or do a solo interview, instead relying on her aides posing as anonymous sources in the press to present her positions to the public. Naturally, the news media has gone along with that. It was always a matter of time before she'd have to put something on paper, though. Perhaps the latest Times/Sienna poll showing her losing straight up

Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday unveiled a slate of policy proposals on her campaign website, including plans to “restore and protect reproductive freedoms” and to call for a federal ban on corporate price gouging on food and groceries.
Less than two weeks ago, NR noted the lack of an issues or policy section on the Harris-Walz campaign website as an indication that the campaign was running behind. By late August in the 2008 campaign, Obama had released a 33-page “Blueprint for Change” outlining his plan for America. His campaign website featured policy proposals on 23 different topics

A month ago, Kamala Harris was flying high, enjoying a surge of support in the aftermath of Joe Biden being forced out of the presidential race. The race didn't quite feel over at that time, but it certainly wasn't the best time for the Trump campaign.
That's all changed with the release of several new polls showing the former president gaining ground and even leading. As RedState reported, the latest Times/Sienna poll, which election guru Nate Silver has rated as the best pollster in the country, showed Donald Trump with a one-point lead against Harris. That's significant given the Republican advantage in the electoral college.

Former President Donald Trump said Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has spoken with him about his skepticism about supporting Democrats this year.
Trump, in an interview with New York magazine, reflected on the immediate aftermath of the assassination attempt against him on July 13. He spoke with the magazine about several calls he received after the shooting, including ones from Zuckerberg and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. “You know, I got so many nice calls from people I really don’t know. Jeff Bezos called. He said, ‘It is the most incredible thing I’ve ever watched.’ And he appreciated what I did, in the sense of getting up and letting people know,” he said.

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) claimed Sunday on ABC “This Week” that Vice President Kamala Harris gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention the former Ronald Reagan could have given.
Cheney said, “If you look at Vice President Harris’ Speech for example, at the Democratic Convention, it is a speech that Ronald Reagan could have given. It is a speech that George Bush could have given. It’s very much an embrace and an understanding of the exceptional nature of this great nation, a love of America, a recognition that America is a special place, a recognition that we all have to work together
