Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she thinks President Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore during an interview with CBS News aired on Sunday.
"He was in a good place," she said about Biden. "Top of his game. Such a consequential president of the United States. A Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States."
"You've got Teddy Roosevelt up there -- and he's wonderful. I'm not saying take him down, but you can add Biden," Pelosi said. Pelosi also denied making any calls to force Biden from power: "He knows that I love him very much."

Olympic boxing sunk to a new low last week. An Algerian boxer with XY chromosomes – the ordinary definition of “male” – and commensurate male testosterone levels – beat up a woman in front of thousands of cheering spectators.
The woman who was beat up had to quit 46 seconds into the match, apparently with a broken nose. In tears, she said in her native Italian “not fair, not fair” and explained afterward that she’d “never been hit so hard in my life.”
The XY boxer was declared the winner. Yesterday, the XY boxer won again in a decision where all three judges favored the XY boxer in all three rounds

Less than a year after Judicial Watch reported that the Taliban has established fake nonprofits to steal millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Afghanistan, a new investigation reveals that the terrorist group has also received hundreds of millions in development assistance from Uncle Sam because the State Department fails to properly vet award recipients. At least $239 million have likely filled the coffers of the extremists running the Islamic republic since the 2021 U.S. military withdraw, according to a report published this month by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). The money was disbursed by State Department

Furious bikers have turned their back on iconic motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson, accusing its CEO of 'going woke.'
The growing movement - spearheaded by conservative influencer Robby Starbuck - cites CEO Jochen Zeitz's support for hardline policies on trans care for kids, critical race theory, climate change and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
Starbuck, 35, is now demanding the company drop its CEO - and is rallying motorcycle enthusiasts to his cause at the largest bikers' event in the world, the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
'Bikers @SturgisRally are going to be spreading the word about this,' Starbuck vowed last week, just days before the 10-day event kicked off.

An account of the terrors of working for Vice President Kamala Harris during the days she was a U.S. senator has resurfaced.
Terry McAteer, whose son worked briefly for Harris in a long-ago summer internship, wrote an op-ed for The Union in 2019 when Harris was in the midst of her failed campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.
This is not exactly a startling revelation.
In 2021, as Harris’s staff was heading for the exit one after the other, Politico wrote a piece describing the vice president’s office as a hotbed of dysfunction.

Kyle Rittenhouse, the conservative campaigner who shot two men during a Black Lives Matter protest nearly four years ago, flip-flopped this week on whether he would be voting for Former President Donald Trump in the November election.
Rittenhouse, 21, took to X on Thursday, to declare his intentions to instead write in former Libertarian presidential nominee Ron Paul, who is not running for president.
“Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisors making him bad on the Second Amendment and that is my issue,” said Rittenhouse. “If you cannot be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment I will not vote for you.”

Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, hired Iranian security agents to plant explosives in three separate rooms of a building where a Hamas leader was staying, The Telegraph has learned.
The original plan was to assassinate Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of the Palestinian terror group, in May when he attended the funeral of Ebrahim Raisi, Iran’s former president.

Former President Donald Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania — where he survived an assassination attempt — was the first time the Secret Service sent a counter-sniper to a Trump event to protect the 45th president, the agency admitted.
“It was the first time Secret Service counter-snipers were deployed to support the former president’s detail,” Secret Service acting director Ronald Rowe revealed during a Friday press briefing. Watch Below: (Video) “With respect to why they were there in Butler, listen, we evaluate our threat landscape every day, we calibrate based on that threat, we evaluated a threat stream that we have, and we put our Secret Service counter-sniper personnel

Second Gentleman Douglass Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, criticized “toxic masculinity” in an interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart conducted Tuesday. (snip)
DOUGLAS EMHOFF, SECOND GENTLEMAN OF THE UNITED STATES: "Oof. This is something I have thought about a lot, I’ve spoken about a lot. There’s too much of toxicity — masculine toxicity out there, and we’ve kind of confused what it means to be a man, what it means to be masculine. (snip) I think it’s a problem and I am going to continue to use this platform every time I get to speak out against this toxic masculinity that is out there."

Vice President Kamala Harris refused to accept former President Donald Trump’s invitation to a September 4 debate on Fox News a day after she officially became the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee. Despite declining Trump's invitation, Harris indicated she would debate Trump on one condition: if ABC News hosted the event.
ABC News is historically known for leaning more Democrat, while Fox News, although not always a Trump fan, lean more right.
“Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out.
