ABC got an exclusive interview with U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, which you have to admit was a good "get."
What wasn't good at all was her responses to the questions swirling around the Secret Service's inability to prevent an assassin from taking a series of shots at a former president and current presidential candidate from a bit more than a football field away. As is so often the case in the Biden Administration, no level of failure results in accountability.
"The buck stops with me" is the equivalent of a grunt, not a statement of responsibility. Cheatle mouths the words but refuses to step down

Gee...you think your failure was unacceptable? We're not talking about giving a tongue lashing to a bunch of kids who are misbehaving in class! We're talking about a failure of leadership that almost got the first, best hope for this nation's survival killed, lady! YOU are the picture definition of why we need to expel all diversity hires and return to a meritocracy!!

She'll be thrown under the bus, rightfully, so that the cover-up proceeds as planned.

*sigh* Yet another [expletive describing female anatomy] doubling down. Im female but Im getting weary of seeing women like this acting like their veez and their teaz make them immune from accountability. Im tired of living in the freeze dried world of 60s era feminazism who want to manipulate the Real World to play "the force is female" fantasy theyve built up in their mind.

Sure she won't resign that's what Democrats do. When was the last time a Democrat resigned in scandal or gross failure?

After the catastrophic failure of 7/13, resigning should not be her decision. It should be a given considering all the problems that were apparent to most of us. I cannot begin to imagine what professional security personnel think about the job the SS did that day. Some have been speaking out and apparently so many rookie mistakes were made that day. Ultimately, the buck stops with this woman and she definitely needs to go and take her DEI philosophy with her. It has no place in this profession. It isn’t meant be a merit based system. We must have the best of the best in such a critical position. She has to go for the safety of everyone the SS protects. It’s time we have accountability in government and I can’t see a better place to start than Kim Cheatle. Republicans must demand it. I do not trust President Trump’s safety with this woman at the head of this department. She has to go now.

KIm, no matter what you say or do, you will be gone in six months.
Perhaps sooner, if Mayorkas needs a scapegoat.
History will record you as the AA hire who almost got Trump killed.

"It was unacceptable," she (Cheatle) said in an interview Monday with ABC News Chief Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas. "And it's something that shouldn't happen again."
Unfortunately ma'am, it's inevitable if you remain the director.

The devilcrats will drag her under that senile in-your-face bus; Jill will certainly sacrifice her for Jill's purposes. Jill's's a doctor, doncha know.

Of course you won't resign, The classless and incompetent seldom do and must be booted out. She can share a cab out of Washington with Wray, Mayorkas and Butt-Judge. Admiral Levine will insist on his/her own Uber so nobody can see him/her crying,

#18, it is insulting to all of us women that the most visible among us, the ones most celebrated and prominent in government and culture, are often uniquely self-centered, untalented, stupid bores. The real brains, the real talent, the real heroes, the real leaders are the legions faceless, selfless women who spend their lives serving their families and communities. One of them today grieves the husband who died saving her and their child during Saturday’s shooting and another elegantly but quietly supports her husband in his bid to preside over and heal a battered and humiliated country.

With this administration the buck stops with the American people who have to put up with this malfeasance. I wonder sometimes if they picked all these imbeciles in cabinet and highly important offices just to make Potatus look good by comparison. If so, it is not working. The 3 Stooges or the Marx Brothers would be a huge improvement.

My prediction is that she will resign. She doesn't want to, of course, but this utter screw-up Saturday will force it on her. The drum beats for her to step down will only get louder in the weeks to come and the dem hierarchy will shove her under the bus if only for political reasons.
