MELTDOWN: SPLC Terminates a Quarter of
Staff, ‘Decimates’ 3 Departments,
Union Claims

Original Article

The far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center reportedly terminated a quarter of its staff Wednesday, weakening and perhaps eliminating two of its departments amid a restructure that heavily hit its union members. The SPLC “gutted its staff by a quarter,” the organization’s union posted on X. (Yes, this nonprofit organization has its own labor union. If staff get tired of protesting Alliance Defending Freedom, they can protest management, instead.) The SPLC told more than 60 union members, including five union stewards and the union’s chair, that they would be losing their jobs.

Comments:

There are so many leftist nonprofits smearing conservatives these days that the SPLC is probably left in the dust. It's good news that this creepy organization isn't doing well.

Please read the whole article, this one of the most crooked non-profits there is allowed to exist: It remains unclear exactly why the SPLC decided to terminate so many staff. As of 2022, the center had an endowment of $731.9 million and accounts in the Cayman Islands. It seems it should be able to hold on to its employees. And what a surprise they are pro-hamas

The SPLC has morphed into one of the hate groups that it claims to fight against. While they claim to fight against racism and hate, they perpetuate racism and hate as their mission now and seem to do their best to keep people in poverty so that they have a captive audience of gullible people to fall for their venom.

"Decimated" and "gutted" are both inaccurate descriptions for the removal of one quarter of their people but hey, we understand that high school and college are not what they used to be. The SPLC ranks right up there with teachers' unions when it comes to annoying, troublesome and useless organizations.

Back when the left first started tearing down statues and renaming schools, highways, etc. I wrote to the SPLC suggesting that, since Yale University was founded by a slave trader, it should be shut down and the buildings turned into Section 8 housing. Surprisingly, (S/) I never received a response.

Republican FEC Commissioner Trey Trainor will criticize the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) “dangerous” failure to intervene in Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump, according to congressional testimony obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation. During the House Judiciary Committee’s hearing on Bragg’s case against Trump, Trainor will explain that the DOJ’s decision not to intervene in the case sets a “dangerous precedent of local prosecutorial overreach in matters of federal concern” and unpack how Bragg “usurped the jurisdiction that Congress has explicitly reserved for federal authorities” when he attempted to enforce campaign finance law.

Much has been made about Hamas being a genocidal, antisemitic terrorist organization — and rightfully so. Its publicly available charter is more than explicit about its genocidal, antisemitic aims — and we would all be wise to take Hamas at its word. Shrugging off these aspects of Hamas does not make them any less murderous or any more make-believe. But there is a second side to Hamas (and other terrorist organizations, both past and present) that gets less attention, yet is likely the oxygen which allows for its genocidal, antisemitic terrorism to remain alive and kicking. Hamas is ultimately a business — a mega-business. Like you and I go to work every day,

Regular readers of mine will know that I have long opposed neocon and globalist perpetual war policies. I opposed most of the components of the US ‘War on Terror’ following 9/11, especially the corruption of a response to terrorism into a vast expansion of the intelligence infrastructure and the surveillance State targeted at every American. Britain, the erstwhile leader of the Western world and the foundation and source of English-speaking civilization, is in its last days as a free society, and will soon become an Islamic state. Yet despite the mountains of evidence that this transformation is taking place, many will still deny that it is happening at all. They may not even admit it when it overtakes them personally. Another new version of the Covid-19 vaccine will probably be coming this fall. The US Food and Drug Administration’s committee of independent advisers voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend that the agency tell vaccine manufacturers to update the Covid-19 shots so they will be more effective against the JN.1 lineage of the coronavirus. The committee voted on the question, “For the 2024-2025 Formula of COVID-19 vaccines in the U.S., does the committee recommend a monovalent JN.1-lineage vaccine composition?” All 16 of the advisers voted “yes.” The decision now goes to the full FDA. If the agency agrees with its advisory committee, the new shot will be a monovalent vaccine, offering protection

Portland, Oregon, has earned its reputation as America’s most radical city. Its public school system was an early proponent of left-wing racialism and has long pushed students toward political activism. As with the death of George Floyd four years ago, the irruption of Hamas terrorism in Israel has provided Portland’s public school revolutionaries with another cause dujour: now they’ve ditched the raised fist of Black Lives Matter and traded it in for the black-and-white keffiyeh of Palestinian militants. Why are we not living in a Golden Age? The most egregious theft of collective wealth and well-being -- and it is flat-out theft -- is the churn on “alternative” forms of energy production. Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama said last week in an interview with Steve Bannon that the U.S. has spent some $7 trillion over budget in the last three years, and 25 percent of that went to "climate change" projects. They are all like Solyndra, massively subsidized and within a decade, massive failures. "The investors take a tax loss," said Tuberville, "then move onto the next effort where they again loot the public."

When I drove 20,000 miles through rural America a few years back, I was struck by the dilapidated nature of, well, just about everything. The towns were rundown, there were thousands of abandoned farms and ranches and family houses. Sidewalks broken, every other shop was abandoned.(Snip) Over the years, regulations had come down so thick and punitive, near everyone operated in a catch-22 situation. You might hurdle one set of regs, only to discover that your success meant another set of regs cancelled you. Now of course, I see it as actually fiendish, the work of evil.
