Lime, a popular electric scooter and bike rental service, implemented a “no-go zone” around a pride-themed crosswalk in Washington after police arrested numerous teens for allegedly driving over it, the company told The National Desk.
Cops arrested three teens June 5 on first-degree malicious mischief charges related to alleged vandalism of a crosswalk with a pride flag painted across it in Spokane, Washington, according to the Spokane Police Department. Officers noticed “widespread damage as black scuff marks consistent with scooter wheels were observed across the entirety of the mural,” the press release states.

would be interesting to have a straight flag (pink/blue flag) painted on the street. see if anyone rides over it and if so, will anyone be punished.

Give kids a Free Speech medal, and give the cops a day off without pay.

But it’s not a hate crime if you burn the American flag, right?

I stopped drawing on sidewalks very young, in grade school.
Also, never got upset with other kids leaving tracks on it. At that age l was completely aware it was a sidewalk and other people use it.
I guess the Pride group never matured into grade school critical thinking skills.

If you don't want people to drive on your flag, don't paint it on the street! Painting the controversial pride flag on the street just invites burnouts and other road stunts to show peoples displeasure. Not everyone is proud of "pride". Would the pride crowd feel equally offended if there were a Thin Blue Line Flag or Don't Tread on Me flag painted on the street that was being defaced? Nope. They would say that the damage was justified due to the ideology represented by the flags.

Kids get arrested for riding over a symbol of sexual activities and it's a crime. But had the symbol been an American flag, that would be protected speech and a cause for 'progressives' to celebrate. Screw the 1st Amendment (merely a loose suggestion actually). Celebrate and protect deviations of sexual behavior is the new 1st amendment!

It'd be a real shame if a big bucket of white paint spilled all over their pervert paint.

If I lived there, I'd just have to see what kind of 'burn-outs' I could produce with my over powered Ford. If it's on the pavement, it's made to be driven on.

The secondary lesson is that your CAR can be geofenced by the government. Already computer controlled. Just takes a couple more steps and through OTA programming you will be subject to the whims of bureaucracy.

I have a simple but effective solution. Just boycott Lime and the shops where the gay fly is.

But hey, tearing down statues honoring American Civil War dead and Revolutionary War heroes by BLM and Antfa, vandalizing public property by the "free Gaza" crazies and stalking Supreme Court Justices in their hoes is just A-OK, right Sparky?

How about not painting the sacred gendercrap banner in places that are DESIGNED to be trodden under foot, skate, walker, scooter, etc. That would be the rational-sensible solution. Instead of their senseless symbolism fetish.

Let's see;
They paint their eyesore of a stupid flag on the pavement and then complain about someone walking or driving over it. They have become nothing but a bunch of annoying crybullies.

How can a person get in trouble for riding or driving on part of the street, regardless of the inanity of the flag painted on the street? Seriously, what is wrong with people and their sensitivities?
