As President Joe Biden scrambles to gain back black voters ahead of the 2024 election, his past may crawl back to bite him.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is reminding Americans that Biden has close ties to “racist” and known member of the Klu Klux Klan (KKK), Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV).He criticized the media for suppressing the story, that had it been a Republican, the press would be eating it up.
Scott said Biden’s words and actions are a “disgusting reflection on who he is,” accusing him of dividing the nation rather than bringing unity.

They're beating that horse to death yet again and its not going to go anywhere. Any democrat old enough was a KKK member. Its what they are about and nobody cares. How many elections did Byrd lose over it?
This looks like desperation and its not a good look.

Byrd...ha ha...I remember a long time ago in a restaurant in Va having a conversation about all the funds he directed and projects he got for the state...I wasn't particularly nice in the conversation and I got a lot of dirty looks from others near our table...surprised Biteme didn't bring up that time he marched in Selma and rode the bus...some one once said if you tell the truth you don't have to remember what you said....

I think it's good to keep bringing it up, sometimes it takes folks 7-8 times to recognize a message and blacks are about as receptive to actually listening to something from the opposition as they've ever been since the free handout era began in the 60's. Few are students of history and aren't being told by their favorite media sources much that's related to an accurate representation of the past. The absence of the Jesse Jackson and Rev Al's voices from recent propaganda creates a void where the truth might actually sneak in.

Back in the day I'm surprised that West Virginia did not go broke making up Byrd signs for every new street, highway, building and bridge. Fortunately for them, federal taxes were used to construct the actual infrastructure. It's hard for democrats to hide their racist past but they keep trying.

It's not just the past that is racist. What do you think Barack Hussein is?

More than 50 buildings in West Virginia are named after this well known racist . Does that mean that the state favors the KKK? What about the people that live there, they OK with it?

The Democrat party lost its way after Jefferson and Jackson; they've even abandoned them as namesakes. They basically evolve with the terrain. like a chameleon. No guiding principles, just lust for power.

"Biden has close ties to “racist” and known member of the Klu Klux Klan (KKK), Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV)."
-Note the 'sneer quotes' around the word racist.... to me this means that the author is saying that OTHER people called Byrd racist, but the writer is not.
-Byrd was not just a member of the Ku Kluxers.... he was a LEADER, I seem to recall that he was called a 'Grand Kleagle' or some such nonsensical title.
The Democ'RATS were always -and remain- racists. From the pre-Civil War slave owners to the Ku Kluxers, to Jim Crow. Then, after the Republicans pushed through the Voting Rights Act, the 'RATS shifted their tactics to Lyin' Lyndon's 'Great Society', the 'freebies' party. Free Cash for every woman with kids.... as long as there was no MAN in the house. The 'RATS knew, and know, what was true then and remains true today, that a broken family is the surest indicator of Poverty..... and their Free Cash was designed to, and did, break up black families on an Industrial scale.
1964 to 2024. 60 years of broken black families has resulted in the urban decay in majority-black cities and communities that we see today.

Good. But how far into the cranial crevices of the Dem voter will these (known to us for a long time) important aspects of Biden's associations and background go? Dems are very comfortable in their dark caves, impenetrable to anything that might challenge their paradigms; they do not question the leftwing media or what their overlords allow into their hearing. I'm sure you're catching my allusions to Plato's particular utopia.
I'm willing to bet that most Dems do not know about Biden's racist hobnobbing. And I suspect that when confronted, they plug their ears (their minds) and won't listen.
