In a preview of her interview that will air Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said she didn’t know if former President Donald Trump would follow the Constitution in a second term.
Anchor Kristen Welker asked, “Do you think Donald Trump would follow the Constitution if he were elected to a second term?”
Haley said, “I don’t know. I mean, you always want to think someone will, but I don’t know.”
She added, “When you go and you talk about revenge. When you go and you talk about, you know, vindication. What does that mean? Like, I don’t know what that means and

Residents of a Maine town have hit out at the $13 million construction of a complex of 60 apartments for asylum seekers, where they can live rent free for two years then pay a fraction of the rental price.
Locals in Brunswick have expressed fury over the project, which is being funded by a mix of private and public money and which has been heavily criticized by Donald Trump Jr.
The apartment complex in Brunswick is one of the many projects being launched by the town in what critics have labeled a 'Taj Mahal', red-carpet welcome for asylum seekers.

President Joe Biden’s White House has begun referring to border crossers and illegal aliens as “newcomers and “people who are in the country” — a terminology distinction that conflicts with federal immigration law.
On Thursday — while promoting a Senate bill to preserve his catch and release network at the United States-Mexico border — Biden’s White House made a passing reference to border crossers and illegal aliens, calling them “newcomers” to the U.S.
The White House fact sheet on the Senate bill reads:
The bill also includes $1.4 billion for cities and states who are providing critical services to newcomers,

The University of Florida has eliminated all positions affiliated with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
The move, laid bare in a leaked administrative memo, serves as the latest in the state's mission to nix DEI initiatives from public institutions.
University Director of Public Affairs Cynthia Roldan confirmed the cut consisted of 13 full-time positions, as well 15 administrative appointments - 28 in total. It also marks an end to the school's office devoted to diversity, opened just six years ago. The next year, Republican Ron DeSantis would become governor, and has since passed a litany of laws

During an interview with ABC News on Thursday, White House Senior Adviser Gene Sperling stated that “people have been through a tough few years” but the PCE (Personal Consumption Expenditures) price index reading is “very close to normal” and “prices are moving in the right direction” and “moderating.” But you can’t expect them to not go up.
Sperling said, “It’s been a tough few years since the pandemic,” but “inflation is coming down. In fact, it was really 2.4% in this measure, 2.8% if you don’t include food and gas. And that’s not good enough, but it is very close to normal. And there are a lot of different areas where

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), one of the most moderate Republicans in the United Sates Senate, is endorsing former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) for president, as Haley continues with her quixotic campaign against former President Donald Trump.
Murkowski’s endorsement came in a press release on Friday from Haley’s team, in which the senator announced, “I’m proud to endorse Gov. Nikki Haley.” “America needs someone with the right values, vigor, and judgment to serve as our next President—and in this race, there is no one better than her,” Murkowski added. “Nikki will be a strong leader and uphold the ideals of the Republican Party while serving as a President for all Americans.”

American families struggling with high food prices due to inflation should eat cereal for dinner in order to save money, Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick, who has an estimated net worth of $15.7 million, said.
It’s no secret that American families are suffering due to inflation under the Biden administration. Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick, a multi-millionaire, views the issue as a great opportunity to market his company’s brand, suggesting that cash-strapped families eat “cereal for dinner.” “The cereal category has always been quite affordable, and it tends to be a great destination when consumers are under pressure,” Pilnick told CNBC

Hunter Biden spent 6 hours testifying on Capitol Hill Wednesday and giving obtuse answers to questions from a joint panel from the House Oversight and House Judiciary Committee.
Within his testimony Hunter Biden consistently blamed his drug addiction for his memory lapses and suggested he was often too high/stoned to recall events. Anderson Cooper, Chris Wallace and other high profile hosts on CNN are facing the chopping block under current network management, according to recent reports.
It’s easy to believe, when you consider the dismal ratings these hosts are delivering. Very few people watch CNN anymore and these dishonest hosts are the main reason why.
Wouldn’t you dump the dead weight if you ran the network?

CVS and Walgreens will start selling the abortion pill mifepristone this month at certain pharmacy locations in states where it is legal to do so, spokespeople for the companies told CNBC on Friday.
CVS and Walgreens received certification from the Food and Drug Administration to dispense the commonly used pill at their retail pharmacies, spokespeople for each company said in separate statements. CVS will begin filling prescriptions for the medication in Massachusetts and Rhode Island in the coming weeks, a spokesperson for the company said. They added that CVS will expand to additional states, "where allowed by law, on a rolling basis."
