Parkrun's policy of allowing runners to self-identify their gender could force women out of elite athletics, a former marathon star has warned. Mara Yamauchi, a former British Olympic runner, said the weekly 5km race (Snip) at amateur level, grassroots, beginner level, females – women and girls – must have fairness. 'If you say that only at professional or elite level do females deserve fairness, but lower down we must be inclusive, that's an appalling message to send to women and girls at those levels. 'That will be very discouraging, demotivating and unfair for them. Some will leave sport altogether and we won't have any elite female athletes in future.'

THAT would be the perfect outcome. Real women, the XX kind, need to just refuse to compete with cross dressing men. As soon as no real women will compete, the organizations will realize that their "system" will be collapsing and they will be out of power. Perhaps they'll figure it out then. If not, form new athletic organizations for WOMEN ONLY, and specify in the regulations NO MEN permitted, no matter what their excuses.

#1 nails it. Every female should drop out whenever a trans is allowed to enter.

Title 9, meant to provide women with venues for competing from an equal biological footing, and have scholarships available for women to strive for in their sport. In the increasingly inside-out moral confusion, men posing as women, and even damaging their own bodies with hormones and even surgeries, as an inversion of the Title 9 possibilities. Inside -out, upside-down, calling good "evil" and evil "good", Nietzschean "transvaluation of all values", and when you have killed God, all is permissible. We are way, way, way off track.

More than one-third of US adults has prediabetes, a serious condition that can lead to type 2 diabetes. And a whopping 80% of those people don’t even know they have prediabetes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But the CDC is pushing back on the rise in type 2 diabetes with a “Be Your Own Hero” initiative aimed at getting people to take a one-minute prediabetes test so they can delay or prevent type 2 diabetes. “Diabetes is a devastating public health problem, and I cannot overstate the toll that it continues to take on millions of people across the United States,” Dr. Christopher Holliday, director of the CDC’s Division

Chicago - A special City Council meeting to discuss Chicago's sanctuary city status descended into chaos Tuesday. The meeting was suspended amid a large contingent of loud and angry demonstrators that had taken over the gallery in the City Council chambers, expressing their displeasure over Chicago's status as a sanctuary city. Some protestors were kicked out of the rules committee meeting, which had to be shut down because nobody could hear what anybody was saying. Last week, there was an attempt to take a vote on an ordinance that would create a referendum on next spring's ballot, allowing the public to decide whether Chicago should continue its status as a sanctuary city.
