Hunter Biden is willing to testify publicly before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee on any day in December, according to his lawyer Abbe Lowell.
In a letter sent to Oversight chairman James Comer (R., Ky.), Lowell said the president’s son will testify before the congressional panel rather than show up to a private deposition. The correspondence was written in response to House Republicans subpoenaing Hunter Biden on November 8 for a closed-door deposition as part of the GOP’s impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

We can all stop salivating!! The answers will be :
-I don't recall
-I was an addict and was under the influence of drugs, don't know
-They were returning a loan
-My dad had nothing to do with my business,; he is as honest as they come
-I plead the fifth

Having never testified in a court of law I wonder if you are giving testimony can you plead the 5th on some questions and answer other questions?

Closed-door deposition? Guess that way they can all sit around, have a few drinks, snort a few lines of coke, and share some laughs before leaving?

I'm not a lawyer, but i understand if you plead the 5th, you need to stick with it. But I do remember that other Dem flunkies (Lois Lerner comes to mind) read a prepared statement denying all wrongdoing and then plead the 5th before a congressional committee.
A closed door session would possibly get some information. Hunter and Joe's lawyers just want a show.
But if the GOP members can get their ducks in a row, present evidence, and let Hunter take #5 over and over and over again, it might be a good show.

Oh yeah. Make it prime time, just like the J6 Committee Variety Hour.

We don't want Hunter, if they give him immunity he can't plead the 5th.

Funny. The only reason this is news is because any rational thinker would conclude Hunter would be crazy to talk to any investigative body given the facts already in evidence. So this tells me that the Democrats have achieved a level of bravado in their narrative artistry that leaves them feeling pretty emboldened. No secret there.

Any testimony from this guy, public OR private will just be a waste of time, because he, like his father, will lie, lie, lie. An oath to tell the truth means nothing to the Bidens.

And as a Biden, we can rest assured he will be forthcoming and honest. This will be a colossal waste of time.

He should be testifying in court, under oath and indictment.

Let him testify in public, just make sure he is under oath.
The truth always comes out.
Question 1 - Who is the "big guy" you have referred to in several emails?

Drug test him first then ask him his first question, "Is that laptop yours?"
Next question, "Who is the, 'Big Guy?'"
He'll have his high-dollar lawyers there deflecting and dissembling for him. It will be a nothing-burger testimony with Demonrat/RINO help.

This is a setup. Public hearing requires each side given 5 minutes to pontificate or query. Waste of time.
Deposition permits questioning until satisfaction on a point of interest. Here's where you get the goods.

He isn't "willing"-- He's being forced into it. Second, does anyone believe Hunter will spill any beans? Forget it. He will develop a Hillary-like amnesia. He will claim his addict status to explain away his lapses in judgment and memory. Nothing will happen. He's a Democrat.

Always remember with the rats...if they are calling attention to hunter...there's something else at play here...they are worried about biden's crime family investigations and the possibility of his impeachment trial...so they change the subject....by throwing hunter under the bus....
