Ron DeSantis has picked up 10 endorsements in South Carolina from former backers of Sen. Tim Scott’s presidential campaign, support the Florida governor is hoping can shore up his strength in the first-in-the-South primary state as the 2024 GOP field continues to consolidate. In a list shared Friday with The Associated Press before its public release, South Carolina state Reps. Bill Taylor and Tom Hartnett Jr. — as well as more than a half-dozen municipal-level elected officials who had backed Scott before he shuttered his bid — are now announcing their support for DeSantis. “Ron DeSantis is the leader we need for this exact moment,” Hartnett said.

The sum total of ALL No Trump candidates including DeSantis will never reach close to where Trump stands with the rank and file. The sooner the GOP understands this and stops this farce the better positioned they will be for Election Day '24. But they know this.

The longer the Keebler Elves remain in the primary, it becomes more evident that they are confident that the dhims & administrative state will be successful in convicting PDJT. In other words, they're hanging in there to be the last he/she or it standing. Despicable! They are all complicit in this fraud. Makes me want to puke.

Here's the thing, DeSantis and the GOPe think Trump won't be able to run and we will fall in step and vote for DeSantis. I don't know about anyone else, but I will never vote for him. I fell for W, won't fall again. I know, I'll be letting the democrats win, but show me the difference between GOPe and the democrats, then I'll think about it.

Anyone who, in the unlikely event that someone other than Trump is the presidential nominee, would sit out the election and contribute to Biden's win doesn't care about the country and certainly is not MAGA. Any of the Republicans who are running, except the maniac Chris Christie, is preferable to Biden or any other Democrat who might be on the ballot.

Trump supporters are so tied in to him they would never consider an alternative, nor would Donald allow it, hence the rallies to keep possible straying debate-watchers a thome. I expect to see Trump call a rally when Ron debates DeSantis in two weeks.

The only Trump voters think Trump can actually win this time. They trust the voting process more than I do. Any democrat will win against Trump once again.

Nothing's as expensive as cheap imported labor, and New Yorkers are about to find that out the hard way. According to the New York Post: The NYPD’s force will be reduced to just 29,000 cops by the end of fiscal year 2025 — the lowest level since the mid-90s — amid a slew of city-wide budget cuts revealed by Mayor Eric Adams Thursday as the Big Apple grapples with its multi-billion-dollar migrant crisis. Under City Hall’s newly unveiled updated 2024 financial plan, the next five police academy classes will be axed — essentially decimating an already strained department as roughly 4,500 officers are expected to leave their ranks within the next 18 months.

National Security has seldom been as important an issue for the American voter as it is today. Our world is on fire, quite literally. Increasing geopolitical tensions are a daily media story whether we want to watch or not, and it is compounded by the insecurity of the open U.S. southern border, millions of unvetted refugees entering the U.S. and two wars. One aspect of this security crisis that few people consider, however, involves training foreign military students in the United States.

In [Erdoğan's] speech [at the UN General Assembly], greeted as a brave international challenge by the Turkish media (90% of which he controls), he called on the international community to collectively fight what he thinks is the greatest malady of mankind: Islamophobia. He wants, he said, to revolutionize the post-World War II international political order by giving Muslim nations a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. That is not all. Erdoğan wants the world to recognize the breakaway Turkish statelet of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Turkey. That statelet emerged after Turkey's illegal invasion of Cyprus in 1974.

London has fallen. A Babylon Bee fake headline — “80 Years After Hitler Failed, Nazis Finally Seize London” — lasted only hours on Sunday before it became true as Britain caved to organized anti-Semites. The Times of Israel reported, “British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday fired Home Secretary Suella Braverman, days after she accused police of being too lenient with pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel ‘hate marchers.’ “The government said Braverman left her job as part of a Cabinet shuffle as Sunak shakes up his top government team. “Braverman said ‘it has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as home secretary,’ adding that she would ‘have more to say in due course.’”

A freshwater spring bubbles amid the mangroves, cabbage palms and red cedars on Sweetheart Island, a two-acre uninhabited patch of paradise about a mile off the coast of this little Gulf Coast town. Pelicans divebomb nearby into the cool waters of Florida’s Withlacoochee Bay and the open view westward holds the promise of dazzling sunsets. It may have seemed like an ideal getaway for Florida businessman Patrick Parker Walsh. Instead, he’s serving five and half years in federal prison for stealing nearly $8 million in federal COVID-19 relief funds that he used, in part, to buy Sweetheart Island.

Above all, to speed up the release of the Israeli hostages held in Gaza by Hamas, there must be as few "pauses" as possible, and no let-up by Israel in military pressure. While the Israelis were urging the residents of northern Gaza to move south to avoid being caught in the cross-fire, Hamas leaders were ordering Gazans not to move to safety, and shooting at them as they tried to flee -- presumably so that Hamas could have more dead bodies to show the television crews how evil the Israelis supposedly are.

The barbaric concept of retaliation also implies the equally savage concept of proportionality. If your primitive tribe of desert bandits kill too many of the other clan, they might retaliate against you. You need to make sure your blood vengeance is proportional. To societies that seek the betterment of humanity, proportionality is a meaningless statement. Something is either an evil that needs to be eliminated or it’s not. Otherwise the United State should apologize to Nazi Germany for killing too many of them. Should Israel really try to find a music festival in Gaza and kill the exact number of people,

The pandemic-driven disruptions in our supply chains demonstrated why now, more than ever, America must control its own destiny, particularly when it comes to manufacturing. The delays have eased, but it wasn’t long ago that consumers in the U.S. waited months for everything from cars to refrigerators. And still, China dominates the manufacturing of products and components we need, from the medicines that improve our health, to the chips that run our devices, to the mining and processing of critical minerals. We are reliant on a global adversary – and it’s not just frustrating for consumers, it’s a threat to our national security.

Prominent Spanish politician, Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, President of the International Committee in Search of Justice and former Vice President of the European Parliament, was shot in the face in broad daylight. The audacious act of terror serves as a stark wake-up call to the escalating audacity of Tehran's mullahs.

It turns out that nations do not stumble into wars and conflict. Wars are generally the result of globalist forces with ulterior motives or political leaders who seek to shore up and protect their political position by demonizing a target, like Russia, and then rallying the people’s support around the enemy of that target, like Ukraine, in the name of patriotism and American interests. The American people are wising up after spending $8 trillion over some twenty years in the so-called war against terror in the Middle East in Iraq and Afghanistan -- protracted engagements that cost lives and ended in failure,

U.S. energy experts are warning of the economic and national security implications of President Biden's pact with China this week to move towards shutting down fossil fuel production in favor of green energy. The State Department announced this week it had struck a deal with its Chinese counterparts pledging to "accelerate the substitution for coal, oil and gas generation" with green energy sources like wind and solar power. The nations, which account for nearly half of global greenhouse gas emissions, also agreed to "deepen policy exchanges" on reducing carbon emissions in various sectors, like power, industry, buildings and transportation, across their economies.

The awards were granted under the emergency authority of the Cold War-era Defense Production Act (DPA), which Biden invoked on the basis of climate change to boost spending on clean energy technology. 'The President is using his wartime emergency powers under the Defense Production Act to turbocharge US manufacturing of clean technologies and strengthen our energy security,' said Biden's National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi

But despair is not a plan. It is past time to impose order on anxiety.” The article does not suggest any plan to “impose order” on American democracy. In prior decades, establishment groups often offered concessions — mostly insincere — to millions of ordinary U.S. voters.
