Mike Johnson in His Own Words

Original Article

After Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson was voted in as the Speaker of the House, many on the left threw a fit about him. He has been described as: • an “extremist” by Congresswoman AOC of New York City.• a “Christian Nationalist” by a Christian professor (John Fea, Messiah College). • a "staunch conservative on issues like abortion and government spending" by journalist Garrett Haake of NBC News and MSNBC. And on it goes. But the reality is that Mike Johnson stands in a long tradition of American leaders who looked to God and the Bible for guidance. If you know history, you know that great Americans like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and

Christian "Nationalist" as if it were a pejorative term? Excuse me Professor, but have you read and understood your Bible? God is very much in favor of nationalism to the extent that he established His people, Israel, in the land of their Patriarch, Abraham's own choosing. God then gave His fledgling nation, led by Moses, with a set of unique laws to live by that would further distinguish them from the heathen nations on the earth, so that all the world would know of the special Nation of Israel, set apart by God from the nations. And God's favor toward Nationalism did not stop when Israel was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70. God's "Laws of Establishment" were provided through His Word to all mankind, so that all the nations would know, follow, and glorify His Holy Name.

I think he is the Mr. Smith (Jimmy Stewart) who goes to Washington. Those of us who remember the Movie just might be seeing the Real Life Guy right before our eyes! I say, "go for it". Washington needs a cleaning up and Mike Johnson just might be the guy who can get that Ball Rolling!

This quote from John Fea was in the linked article: John Fea, a professor of history at Messiah University in Pennsylvania, considers Johnson "a Christian nationalist" and "a culture warrior with deep connections to the Christian Right." I attend the same church as John Fea.

Joe Biden is refusing to hand over loan documents to the House Oversight Committee proving any ‘loans’ he provided to his brother James Biden. The House Oversight Committee has no IRS records or loan documents confirming the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe Biden in 2018 was a ‘loan repayment.’ House Oversight Chairman James Comer demanded IRS records and applicable loan documents proving Joe Biden loaned his brother James money. The Bidens often structure their income as ‘loans’ to avoid paying taxes. We saw this with a $5 million wire described as an ‘interest-free loan’ (a way for Hunter to avoid paying taxes) from a Chinese firm.

A McDonald's customer has voiced her fury at the fast food chain for not having any items priced at $1 on its 'dollar' menu - as she raged over the 'out-of-hand' price increases that the burger giant has implemented over the past few years. After making a recent trip through the chain's drive-thru, Anne Arroyo, from Ohio, took to TikTok to share her frustrations with McDonald's with her followers. She showed that although the fast food restaurant advertised a 'dollar menu', every item was priced above $1.

A mother who was flying with her toddler alone for the first time was moved to tears by the supportive notes left by other moms in the airport's nursing lounge. Jenna Dillulio, 38, traveled from Richmond, Virginia, to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her 14-month-old daughter, Ember, in mid-October to visit her family who live in the area and to also work through her fear of flying. The mom told Good Morning America that her therapist recommended she take her daughter on her first plane trip to help her overcome her anxieties about air travel. 'This trip was such a big step for me,' she explained.

The “supreme leader” of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared in an address on Wednesday that the common chant of “Death to America” in his country is “not just a slogan – it is a policy,” one his regime intended to bring to fruition. Khamenei was reportedly delivering remarks on Iranian regime-controlled television regarding the ongoing conflict between the nation of Israel and the Hamas genocidal terrorist organization, which Iran funds to the tune of tens of millions of dollars a year. The Iranian regime has enthusiastically embraced Hamas following its harrowing October 7 terrorist attack against civilians in Israel, which featured door-to-door slaughters of entire families in their homes,

An illegal alien wanted for terrorism in Senegal was arrested in late October just blocks from New York City’s One World Trade Center after having been released into the United States by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Just this week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas repeatedly told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that illegal aliens who are “national security threats” are promptly arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and deported.Despite Mayorkas’ assertion, an illegal alien — from either the Islamic Republic of Mauritania or Senegal — arrived at the United States–Mexico border on Oct. 3 near Lukeville, Arizona.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his nation on Friday evening that he had refused the Biden administration’s request for a “pause” in fighting, ostensibly for humanitarian purposes. Netanyahu recounted that he had met earlier in the day with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and showed him footage of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7. (Breitbart News was among the first to review that footage last week in Israel.) He also said: “I appreciate the consistent support of President Biden, the American administration and the American people.”

Considering the Fox Business debacle that took place on September 27, more commonly called Republican National Committee (RNC) debate, many people are suggesting it’s time to change the format. Currently, the next snoozefest is scheduled for November 8 in Miami and will be hosted by NBC. (Another network that is known for its fairness to Conservatives—not!) Does anyone remember anything from those two wasted September 27 hours when candidates polling close to zero attacked candidates polling close to 5 percent? The highlight was former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Senator Tim Scott shouting about curtains purchased for Haley’s new residence when she was United Nations ambassador during the Trump administration.

The Washington Post has a story today about the network of tunnels dug beneath Gaza by Hamas fighters. The entire network is estimated to stretch over 300 miles despite the Gaza strip being on 25 miles long. It’s where Hamas fighters have been hiding out since the start of Israel’s military response to the 10/7 attack. But the IDF has no intention of entering the tunnels which are likely booby-trapped. Israeli military protocol generally prohibits regular ground troops from entering tunnels, as the chances of being killed or captured is too high. Israelis have seen their soldiers grabbed and dragged into tunnels, so the likely strategy will be to attempt

The idiom for pregnancy, “a bun in the oven,” which traces its origins back more than 2,000 years to Ancient Greece, is in fact “misogynistic,” according to Kathleen Crowther, an historian of reproductive medicine at the University of Oklahoma. Crowther insists the idiom reduces the role of the mother to a mere incubator after the majority of the work has been done by the man. “I don’t think most people who use that metaphor are being misogynistic.” “But I think it actually does come from a deeply misogynistic tradition of thinking about women’s bodies as passive,” she argues.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech: “Let me be clear, the United States is just as responsible…Americans have to pay, they have to pay for Israel’s slaughter.” A few days after Hamas invaded Israel, perpetrating the most brutal massacre against Jews since the Holocaust, Hezbollah terrorists clashed with Israel Defense Forces along the Lebanon border, opening a second front in the conflict. If Israel’s military attacks Lebanon, where Hezbollah is operating, it will “pay dearly,” Nasrallah vowed.
