Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer and his wife are resigning their posts on the executive board of Harvard’s Kennedy School in protest of school President Claudine Gay’s belated lukewarm response to the student letter blaming Israel for the massacre committed by Hamas terrorists on Saturday.
Ofer, the shipping and chemicals magnate whose net worth was valued by Forbes at $14 billion as of Thursday, said that he and his wife were quitting the board, according to the Hebrew-language news site TheMarker.
Ofer and his wife, Batia, who is also a member of the executive board, said they resigned “in protest of the shocking and insensitive response by the president of the university,

Idan Ofer and his wife are finally finding out what Harvard really is.
I think they probably knew but they just didn't want to admit it but, now they they've been forced to.

Money talks and BS walks. Time for the big money people like Dan Ofer to pull the plug and pull all endowment funds from Harvard

Harvard and other "elite" schools have taken on water several times in recent years as they been, frankly, commandeered by radical faculty, staff and idiot students.
Perhaps this time they've jumped the shark, gone too far. I hope so.
I long ago stopped donating to my alma mater, not that my roll of nickels amounted to a hill of beans. But I urge others to do the same.

Ofer: "I am resigning my position at Harvard due to your lukewarm response to the students who support Hamas."
Harvard: "Are you taking your money with you?"

I hope this trend catches on. Hit the leftist lunatics where it hurts, in the supply chain of free money. A Harvard degree is already not worth the paper it's printed on, now it might be good for covering the crack in the wall behind a desk, providing somebody hires one of them.

Yes you all have freedom of speech. You cannot be locked up for speaking your beliefs.
But you are not exempt from the consequences of what you spoke or what you wrote.
Losing a good job with a firm that has some ethics, losing a scholarship by a Jewish donor, being shunned by good people for your beliefs....
Freedom of speech is your right, but impunity is not.

Maybe it's different with the Mediterranean. But around here, waterfront property is much more valuable than non. How did those murderous sand fleas wind up with Gaza in the first place? Take it over, expel ALL inhabitants, and let the real estate bonanza begin.

There comes a time when you must speak out and act on your convictions. That time is now for anyone who is Jewish and supports Israel. The horrific terror organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, Isis, and all the rest must be denounced by the world. They are not victims, they are inhumane thugs and killers of the most innocent. It is our duty as human beings to condemn the atrocities they committed against the most vulnerable. Anyone who supports that kind of carnage should be shunned. Right now the world needs to send a strong message. Every member of Hamas must be hunted down and eliminated because Israel deserves to live in peace and that will not happen as long as one radical Muslim is allowed to live within its borders.

How did Ofer become a billionaire, and was he surprised by Harvard's response? Leftists hate Jews as much as they hate blacks, yellows, and browns. I'm talking all leftists; they just hate.

Suffice it to say, the President of Harvard University is very much like Larry Fink of Black Rock at this point; this being made possible by the multi-billion dollar endowment held by Harvard, thanks to the generous donations from alumni.

If Harvard refuses to give up the names of the signatories to those petitions, remember the great advice I saw in a comment - either here on Lucianne, or over at Breitbart: blacklist ALL Harvard students. They love unity and collective action, etc. How about a little collective punishment?

And University of Wisconsin in Madison is no better...how long will it take for these pathetic students to realize....hamas is a terrorist group that kills babies in their beds with shovels....and burns young people in their car as they were trying to escape.....so don't be telling me that Gaza is a peaceful place...it's been lobbying missilles into Israel for years.....and they...all of them hate Israel...so... all's fair in love and war....

Harvard students should be placed on a terrorist watch list, to include a no-fly list. They obviously need a taste of reality.
