On Friday, Disc Golf Pro Tour announced that it would relocate the Female Professional Open (FPO) division at some of the largest events of the season to other states while canceling other FPO divisions completely in order to avoid more legal troubles as a result of lawsuits from Natalie Ryan, a male disc golfer who identifies as a female and has sued DGPT in California and Minnesota over gender eligibility policies that restricts him from competing.
In disc golf, players use plastic discs instead of balls and attempt to throw discs into baskets or targets situated on a golf course.

Never forget that Disney dumped Sound of Freedom, a box office sensation currently making tens of millions of dollars in profit for Angel Studios.
Yes, the Walt Disney Co. owned Sound of Freedom. It was its movie, and Disney not only dumped it, but for nearly five years, Disney sat on Sound of Freedom, refusing to release it into theaters, stream it on its various streaming services, or sell it back to the producers.
Sound of Freedom was completed in 2018 and then acquired by 20th Century Fox (or 21st Century Fox) for theatrical distribution. In 2019, Disney acquired 20th Century Fox and all of its entertainment assets, including Sound of Freedom.

Set photos from Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" revealed that the entertainment company has prioritized diversity in casting its characters.
Multiple photos released from the production depicted a stunt double as Snow White, who will be played by Hispanic actress Rachel Zegler, and images of the characters who used to be called the "seven dwarves," and are now referred to as "magical creatures."
These photos, obtained by British outlet The Daily Mail, indicated that the new "magical creatures" are quite different from the animated dwarves of the original Disney movie. They are multi-racial, multi-gender and differ in height.

Threads, the new social media platform launched by Mark Zuckerberg as a rival to Twitter, has experienced a significant drop in user engagement and growth following a record-breaking debut. Analysts have published data showing a 25 percent dropoff in daily users and a 50 percent drop in the time spent on Facebook’s latest platform. Elon Musk has been quick to use his own Twitter platform to point out that Zuckerberg’s Twitter clone appears to be faltering.

The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against a former Catholic school employee Thursday whose contract was not renewed after disclosing her same-sex marriage.
Michelle Fitzgerald, the school’s former co-director of guidance, filed a lawsuit in 2019 after the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Roncalli High School informed her that the school did not intend to renew her contract for the next year because she had violated her terms of agreement by being in a same-sex relationship, according to the lawsuit.

The House voted Thursday to terminate the Defense Department's policy of allowing servicemembers to travel across state lines to get an abortion and reimbursing them for their travel costs.
Lawmakers voted 221-213 in favor of an amendment to the annual defense policy bill from Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, that would force the Pentagon to end this policy. The Defense Department put the policy in place shortly after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade.
The House vote is a victory for conservatives who hinted that including the language in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was critical to their support for the entire bill.

A conservative professor and former police officer lost his job at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio after he allowed debate on topics including homosexuality and policing, the second professor at the school to be forced out in the last semester.
Will Moravits told The College Fix that in all his class discussions he tells his students that the classroom “is a place where all opinions are welcomed and encouraged, but not required. I also remind them that if they feel uncomfortable, they have my permission to excuse themselves from the discussion.”

An FBI agent told the House Judiciary Committee that Deputy Director Paul Abbate suggested that at least 25 FBI confidential human sources, or informants, involved in reporting to the bureau from the Jan. 6, 2021, protest should not be publicly acknowledged. The details of Ray Epps' civil complaint against Fox News reveals that he is being criminally charged by the DOJ, almost three years after the fact.
"Finally, in May 2023, the Department of Justice notified Epps that it would seek to charge him criminally for events on January 6, 2021—two-and-a-half years later. The relentless attacks by Fox and Mr. Carlson and the resulting political pressure likely resulted in the criminal charges" the complaint reads. The complaint continues, blaming Fox News for the criminal charges:

Anas Haqqani, a senior Taliban official and member of the notorious Haqqani Network jihadist organization, endorsed Twitter over its nascent Facebook rival Threads on Monday, celebrating pro-China owner Elon Musk for allegedly protecting “freedom of speech.”
Haqqani condemned Facebook and Threads’s parent organization, “Meta,” for being “intolerant,” presumably to Sunni jihadist ideology, in a post on Twitter apparently indicating that the de facto Afghan government and terrorist organization’s plans to continue using Twitter as its preferred publicity platform for the foreseeable future.
