Tucker Carlson was more than the highest-rated host in all of cable until his shocking termination by Fox News on Monday.
The 53-year-old media veteran is a father, a husband, and a friend to those who have had the pleasure of knowing him and even a delightful stranger to run into in a park: (Snip) Carlson communicated conservatism in ways that are difficult to do. He challenged conventional thinking for Republicans as much as he challenged the country’s far left.
Other than those who loathe ideas such as national sovereignty, life, liberty, and truth, not a single person is better off today — now that his voice has been effectively silenced.

When Rush Limbaugh was alive, Tucker was known as "Chatsworth Osborne Junior". Now that Limbaugh is gone, Carlson has become the voice of truth and reason. Since truth is the enemy of despots who crave power, Tucker has become the main enemy.

Oh Well, the truth will come out soon. It always does! Meanwhile, I'm getting acquainted with Newsmax again. They have a good Lineup, that is definitely Conservative. Maybe a few Fox Commentators will jump ship and go there! One can only hope!

My husband of 42 years has always said that males are basically barbarians until women civilize them, not just their mothers, but also their wives.

I anticipated Rush daily. Rush was the complete package of alternative news and opinion intermixed with humor. I didn't always agree with Rush but it was rare. Before Rush I had no idea there were so many "me"s in the country.
Tucker is a pseudo substitute for the news and opinion but I find his humor mostly puerile, especially the cackling. I was only tuning in occssionlly the past several months. Similarly with Glenn Beck who is enlightening but sophmoric.
I now listen to Dennus Prager (and PragerU) regularly for calm sensible opinion and scour the interwebs for news
God Bless Rush, wherever you are, miss ya!

Tucker is an original - he asks questions - then thinks. he digs for facts. these are anomalies in the present day. he never insisted that people agree with him 100% but was fascinated by what views and info others brought to the discussion. on the way he gathered a lot of admirers of many stripes - and rescued a lot of people, now most notably some of the J6 defendants who can access exculpatory evidence. i look forward to his next step. i think his Heritage speech indicates he will not be sitting on the sidelines in this epic battle of Good and Evil.

Interesting that the video guy apparently had no clue who he was talking to. And, interestingly, Carlson wasn't at all a "famous jerk" that it would seem that many people would be if you met them like this. No "Do you know who I am?" kind of attitude.
The only famous people that I can think of meeting personally are a few state or national politicians and some pro racing drivers, some professional competitive shooters and all them that I talked to, a number when they were at the top of their pro careers, some many years later, were pretty easy to get along with, although you had to be sure that they weren't really busy doing their jobs at the moment. THAT can be annoying even if the person would be happy to chat another time - but, if they are thinking, "hey man, we're trying to get the race car ready and got a million things to do right now" it won't be good.
Glad to see Mr. Carlson acting normally.

I think Tucker was fired because the Murdoch’s felt he was getting too big for his britches behind the scenes, and they couldn’t have that. And I just read that the viewers aged 20-54 have dropped off, the age group advertisers target most. Plus, the drop of viewers in Tucker's former time slot has led to a loss of viewers for Laura and Sean. The Murdoch’s should have dumped Paul Ryan instead. By the way, it’s Chatsworth Osborne the Third, from Max Shulman's “The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.”
