Nikki Haley (R-SC) and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to withdraw from the race and other Republicans to abstain from entering. Completely agree. We need to show unity behind Trump. Every republican must stand in unison. There is no republican party as long as a former republican president is indicted for non-crimes. Anything less, you stand as a traitor to freedom.

Nonsense from a gross opportunist. From Never Trumper to Trumpista. Grennell is simply playing the prohibitive favorite at this point, doubtless expecting something for his "loyalty."

Not sure that would be wise. Kind of like committing political suicide to get back at Democrats. Why limit our choices based on what Democrats do. I mean, if DeSantis were indicted like this, would Trump drop out and call for DeSantis to be President? Also, I actually think Ramaswamy might be a better choice for President, given Trump's age.

#3, Would this be more palatable to you as a Never Trumper…how about they all remain as candidates but rally behind President Trump because it is the RIGHT thing to do. If you will not stand against democrats and this malicious prosecution of a former President, you do not possess the moral character or courage needed to lead this nation.
Signed a proud Trumpista.

I like Grinnell and agree the indictment is BS but couldn't disagree with him more on this. To win in 2024, Trump will need to get more votes than 2020. Can someone please tell me where those votes will come from? Who has he picked up in the last two years? Who is saying, "I didn't like him in 2020, but boy, I really changed my mind. His constant whining about 2020 and his getting indicted really attract me to him!"? He will win with the people on this site and the people who watch Carlson, but he's going to have to persuade several million others. We can condemn the indictment, and get behind another candidate.

I said that on an earlier post this morning under Pelousy! In doing this, they couldn’t be sending a stronger message to the Never Trumpers, RINOS, and libtards.

#3 - Trump appointed him to a Cabinet position, the first gay man in history to be appointed. (Sorry Mayor Pete!) He's no Never Trumper. Not sure if you have him confused with someone else.....?

This will leave Trump as the only candidate. And he could be under a gag order rubber stamped by corrupted courts. Nice going...

At this point in our Republic's history, Grenell is correct. There are a few people currently SAYING they are running for President in 2024. I don't know if they all filed the required paperwork with the Federal Election Commission officially making them candidates and thus coming under the campaign finance rules of the FEC. Trump has filed. So, for DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Pompeo, et.al., to pull back and say they are with Trump, is not like they are officially withdrawing from the campaign. For the sake of their futures, everyone of them should throw their support to Donald J. Trump.
Every single Republican, hell every American, needs to throw their support to Donald J. Trump because it's not Trump we are all supporting, it is the rule of law, it is the Constitution of the United States of America, it is this glorious Republic that God has given the world. It is nauseating to me that a man like George W. Bush is sitting on his ass, is silent, a man I supported with many campaign dollars, supported him spiritually as well, and it turns out he is no better than Biden, Pelosi or Bragg. Does he think this could not have happened to him?
Support Trump for our country's sake.

Credit for Grenell for stating what few Republicans have the guts to do. That the goal of the Democrats is utterly to destroy opposition by eliminating the Republican Party.
Long before Trump descended the golden escalator Democrats were criminalizing opposition. Remember the persecution of Tom DeLay? Republicans refused to face reality and have conducted themselves as if there is some sort of give and take between the parties. The mealy mouthed “my friends across the aisle” bromide
must end. These so-called friends want a one party state where any opponent is neutered or in jail.

I completely agree with Ric...and if any of these republicans think they'll ever get the backing of MAGA...they are fooling themselves...WE are watching them ...every step they make....especially sanctimonious...

I'm with Rinktum. This is the time for TOUGH LOVE with the DEMON-RATS! The devil only knows the power of God and will only surrender to that. That means we should fight fire with fire. Start indicting high level demon-crats with felonies (think Fauci and others who have gotten away with murder) then refuse, if there if a gag order, to debate or speak those running for the presidential office. Do we have the courage to fight back?
If we froze or sued the Left out, we might get some action. If we started suing the Left like they are doing to President Trump to: Biden, Wray, Garland, Head of Home Land Security Alejandro Mayorkas the patholical liar, Fauci, FBI lovers Struck,Page, etc. etc. etc. Maybe, just maybe, we would get the attention of the Soros run DAs in this country and stop the persecution of Christians/Catholics and Trump/Trump supporters! (not to mention their ignoring felons being released into communities without bail) And by the way, why don't we sue the pants off of these Soros' DAs?
Are all the DAs in this country wimps?
Start fighting and suing these crooks, you have the receipts on these evil doers!!! We have had it with these evil people! And yes, I am a RAPID TRUMP SUPPORTER!

Okay ... the point survives the hyperbole.
What I think he is really trying to say is that every who calls themselves a Republican should rally around Trump for no other purpose than to show solidarity with the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Actually dropping out of the primaries is not the way to go, imo. Just too excessive. Trump will earn the nomination ... not be crowned.
The other thing that fries my clams is the constant refrain that "no one is above the law"! What horse-hockey! Clinton, Obama, every illegal alien, Omar, Pelosi, etc. is and has been acting above the law for decades. The "law" is a cudgel for Republicans only.

I think that Ric is OK. Then again, I've lost count of the number of Republicans that I once thought were OK, but now want to see beaten to a pulp and left in the gutter. We all know who they are.
We'll see.

I wholeheartedly support this and would take it one step Further.....Call out the whimpy cowards hiding and likely voting for clowns like Biden...McConnell the crooked sheep...Lindsay Grahamnasty " who never saw a war he didn't love"...Crispy Christie....world class traitor to party and bigger fool...The Bushies who quickly sided with likely Biden handler Obama over Trump and you list more sheep pretending to be GOP members, but abandoning their party and country because their too cowardly to stand for USA and Freedom!

#17, under normal circumstances there would be validity in sticking with a normal process, but reality dictates procedure.
The reality is that normal, as we have known it in America, no longer exists. Fundamental Transformation of America proponents have chosen Trump already, as the one leader with any hope of stopping their efforts and defeating them, by the simple fact of their relentlessly malicious, unprecedented attacks against him because of his exposure of their intentions, & his fight for American Sovereignty.
The efforts to deny Trump the presidency that he won in 2020 came from within both political parties. The efforts to prevent him from becoming the Republican nominee in 2024 are coming from the same group. They have shown themselves much more willing to work with each other than they ever did to work with Trump.
That is very revealing. It is outrageous, imo, that the same people who have “stood aside”, or aided & abetted in every effort to “get Trump” through the years are still trying to present themselves as being so very concerned about what’s best for America, when they barely lifted a finger to MAGA when they had the four year opportunity of the Trump presidency to do exactly that.
Asa Hutchinson trotted out the latest asinine suggestion that Trump “buckle his knees” and “step aside” in light of the politically motivated & unlawful indictment!
Could it be that he was voicing another GOP idea to rally Republicans around the idea of denying Trump the nomination? Wouldn’t be surprising.
I don’t know enough about Grenell personally to have an opinion. But, for those reasons that I mentioned and others, I think he is right about this.
It wouldn’t be a crowning of Trump, imo. It would be a voluntary show of unity against unlawful aggression and denial of Constitutional rights. It’s past time to unite behind a proven world leader and fight to save this Constitutional Republic. Trump has earned that role in spades! I believe there are other countries that would welcome the effort too.
