Massachusetts Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Monday announced plans to run for reelection in 2024. "We've won some big victories for working families in Massachusetts and across the country, but there's a lot more to do" Warren said on Twitter as a caption to a campaign ad featuring endorsements from voters and fellow Massachusetts Democrats. "So today I'm making it official: I'm running for re-election to keep up the fight."

Comments:

This story is incorrect. Sen. Warren is giving up her seat - - so that a real Native American can have it. Her belief in diversity is 100% sincere - - and she's going to prove it!

Hunter Biden’s showdown with baby mama Lunden Roberts in a Batesville, Ark., courtroom Monday may be the first time in his life that he hasn’t been able to wheedle out of the consequences of his actions. The president’s son is crying poor and seeking to cut child support payments to Navy Joan, his unacknowledged 4-year-old daughter with Roberts, a former stripper with whom he had a monthslong affair.

The union that represents New York City's public school teachers is holding a workshop on how to reduce the "harmful effects of whiteness in our lives" for educators who wish to advance their credentials, a shocking New York Post report revealed Saturday. According to the outlet, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) has scheduled the online seminar, titled "Holding the Weight on Whiteness," for Monday, March 27, for 4-6 pm. The event's landing page says the course "is about cultural humility and inclusion," and "will allow us to discuss how whiteness relates to privilege and identity, and how both become normalized and invisible."

Does Pennsylvania have a U.S. Senator? I only ask because John Fetterman has been hospitalized for what seems like a decade by now. The Keystone progressive, who somehow handily beat Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the 2022 Senate race, was immediately riddled with health episodes. During a Senate Democrat winter retreat, he had to be rushed to the hospital. Fetterman would later be hospitalized again, opting to stay for a month to deal with bouts of depression. That’s when his wife ditched him to take the family on vacation.

After months of near-silence and innuendo, Florida Gov. and GOP presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis decided to speak about Ukraine, removing all doubt about his position. While his statement on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show makes a handful of valid points, it is ridden with a fundamental misunderstanding of the war and US geopolitical interests. First, the good. DeSantis is correct to criticize the Biden administration’s lack of clear objectives in its support for “as long as it takes,” which is a recipe for a long and intractable conflict — which Americans would be right to reject.

Pentagon officials said in a draft document last week that aliens could be visiting our solar system and releasing smaller probes like missions conducted by NASA when studying other planets. A draft research report authored by Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), and Abraham Loeb, chairman of Harvard University’s astronomy department was released on March 7 and focuses on the physical constraints of unidentified aerial phenomena. “…An artificial interstellar object could potentially be a parent craft that releases many small probes during its close passage to Earth, an operational construct not too dissimilar from NASA missions,” the report read.

All up, New Yorkers are having to endure a whopping 236 hours – or 10 full days — stuck in rush-hour traffic per year, according to the TomTom Traffic Index, which tracks congestion in major cities across the world.

Although Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has promised that all depositors with the failing Silicon Valley Bank will have access to their funds and the cost of federal intervention in the financial system will not be passed on to U.S. taxpayers, existing law and finite resources raise questions as to whether she will be able to follow through on either pledge. The twin failures of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank on Friday and Sunday, respectively, have sent financial systems in the United States into disarray.

He claims DeSantis’ drive against extremist gender and race ideology is “an attack on diversity.”

Writers from Kingsley Amis to Anthony Horowitz have taken up the mantle and produced Bond novels. But we’ve had to wait until now, with Kim Sherwood’s new novel “Double or Nothing,” for the Fleming estate to pass the baton to a woman. Although it would be misleading to say that this latest Bond novel is actually about Bond. More than an addition to the canon, “Double or Nothing” is an expansion of the universe, and an

The chairwoman of the Republican party has warned that candidates will need to address the abortion issue 'head on' in order to win back the presidency in 2024. Ronna McDaniel said on Sunday that Democrats have turned the issue of abortion into a rallying cry following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade last summer, while Republicans have tried to steer clear of the issue. But if Republican presidential candidates instead challenge Democrats on their beliefs, the party may be able to win back swing voters, McDaniel said on FOX News Sunday.

The Supreme Court decision last year in Dobbs v. Jackson overruled Roe v. Wade, their 1973 decision that purported to find an abortion right in a U.S. Constitution that never mentions or alludes to it. Abortion is now rightly governed by the people’s elected legislators, and, sadly, to some extent by unelected bureaucrats, but, in any event, not by judges. The Dobbs decision was leaked a couple of months in advance of its issuance.
