In So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish (the fourth book in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy of six books"), Douglas Adams brutalizes "democracy" in a hilarious exchange: "On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur. "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford. "It is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"

This article articulates exactly the purpose of the Uniparty which is self-preservation at any cost. If you have ever wondered why these Washington elites in both parties hate Donald Trump so much it is because as the author states he is the change that threatens their little fiefdom. He is solely committed to the country and its people unlike the political class which is committed only to the status quo which benefits them. This is an excellent article that everyone needs to read. It’s a great reminder as to why the country needs him. It may even make DeSantis supporters take another look at Trump and realize that he is the real deal, committed to this country and its people and beholden to no one but the American people. Please make this a Must Read. The excerpts alone from President Trump’s inaugural speech is worth the read.

In HS Government class they told us the purpose of government. They said it was to do for people what they couldn't do for themselves, to protect the rights of citizens, and all sorts of other lofty ideas. I mentioned that to Dad and he said it was all BS. He said the purpose of government was to perpetuate itself. Nothing more. That was in the 1970s and its now more true than ever.

As a Baby Boomer, I was raised in a very patriotic family. My daddy & his brothers and friends all served in WWII. Reading this about the Lizards brought to mind a comparison to all of the “Late, Late Show” movies my girlfriends & I watched during sleepovers. Patriotic movies about our military, our people & our country during that war, that stirred a fervent love, pride & joy in being American. Musicals with patriotic songs - like George M. Cohan’s “You’re A Grand Old Flag”. I knew those songs by heart and sang them with all of my heart. President Donald Trump rekindled that kind of feeling. Just as Ronald Reagan did when he was POTUS. That genuine bond of national pride & patriotism has to be destroyed in order to destroy US. That’s why they hated Reagan. That’s why they hate Trump. Faux patriots are patriot foes.

Let us resolve to reclaim our own words. The cloud of defeat enshrouding America is a spiritual, moral, and political conquest that seeks to control minds, debilitate character, and destroy institutions from within. That conquest starts with the power to control our words. We react, we write, we rail against them — but always using their words. They control the conversation. We have let the enslavers control our words. The disruptive force throughout American history has been Christianity. It disrupted slavery, segregation, and abortion because Christians rejected words of the oppressors. They called slaves their brothers; they call the pre-born babies.

The most obvious signal of a nearing presidential election cycle is when both declared and potential Republican candidates schedule stops in Iowa, where candidates can thrive and build momentum or quickly realize that it’s not their time to shine.A key to winning the hearts of voting Iowans is the ability to connect with — and impress — the state’s farmers and farming industry in general, which is irrefutably the heart and soul of the Hawkeye State. Out of the upcoming crop of GOP candidates, former President Donald Trump has the unique ability to do just that. Sunday morning, a day before a planned trip to corn country, Trump reminded his followers

Joe Biden released a new budget recently, and it’s absolutely gut-busting. With the topline total hitting an eye-watering $6.9 trillion, it would be the most expensive budget in American history, and it’s not even close. It’s so bad that it makes Barack Obama look conservative.Luckily, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), who is famous for his dry sense of humor, has the perfect solution for what to do with it.(Tweet/Video) Hammer, meet nail. Biden’s budget would be an abject disaster, both from the standpoint of fiscal sanity and from a policy perspective as well. As Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) recently pointed out, the president’s proposed budget mentions equity 63 times

Former President Donald Trump is blaming the failure of the Silicon Valley Bank on his successor's 'anti-American policies.' A spokesperson for the former president, who is once again running for the highest office, told FOX News Digital on Sunday that he sees the regional bank's collapse as representative of President Joe Biden's stumbling economy. The bank, the 16th largest in the US, fell on Friday after a 60 percent drop in shares, which sparked a run on the bank as panicked customers rushed to withdraw cash.It was the worst US financial institution failure since 2008, with SVB controlling $209 billion in total assets at the end of 2022.

Perhaps the single biggest factor contributing to America’s rising crime rate can be traced back to 1962. That was when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a voluntary, non-denominational prayer recited by school kids in New York State classrooms violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. For the record, the prayer that ignited that controversy reads as follows: “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our Country.” These 22 words were so repellant to Steven Engel, a founding member of the New York Civil Liberties Union,

I love a good conspiracy theory. (Snip) Michelle Obama hates politics, hates voters, and hates Washington D.C., and not necessarily in that order. The victory is a triumph for A24, the indie studio that pushed the zany film to an impressive $100 million at the box office, a stunning achievement at a time when the market for arthouse movies has shriveled.
