More than 10.8 million mail-in ballots went “unaccounted for” in California’s midterm elections last year, data published by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) reveals.
In 2022, California election officials mailed out more than 22.1 million ballots to registered voters, the data published by PILF shows. Of those, more than 10.8 million went “unaccounted for” as researchers said election officials can only make assumptions as to what happened with the ballots.
“Typically, when a polling place opens and closes, there is an accounting of all election materials. Significant issues arise when incidents occur such as ballots disappearing at poll closing time

Mounting a comeback for the White House, Donald Trump is looking to regain control over his powerful social media accounts.
With access to his Twitter account back, Trump's campaign is formally petitioning Facebook’s parent company to unblock his account there after it was locked in response to the U.S. Capitol riot two years ago.
“We believe that the ban on President Trump’s account on Facebook has dramatically distorted and inhibited the public discourse,” Trump’s campaign wrote in its letter to Meta on Tuesday, according to a copy reviewed by NBC News.
Trump’s campaign didn’t threaten a lawsuit, as some sources close to Trump thought he would. It instead talked about

“We’ll handle that.” The first thought that entered my mind after reading those three words was the 2016 Republican presidential primary season and Donald Trump‘s politics of personal destruction against the other 16 candidates in the race.
Welp, if Ron DeSantis runs in 2024, it looks like it’ll be business as usual for The Donald. While “Lyin’ Ted” and “Little Marco” won’t be there, “Ron DeSanctimonious” will.
During an interview with “The Water Cooler” host David Brody on RealAmerica’s Voice, Trump weighed in on the possibility of DeSantis entering the race and said if the popular Florida governor does, the former president said “We’ll handle that” while noting

Two years after Seattle slashed its police budget, local business owners say crime has skyrocketed, with police unable to deal with thefts, homelessness and open-air drug use that plague the city.
Seattle and broader King County had more than 13,000 homeless people within its boundaries in 2022, more than every other similar area except Los Angeles County and New York City, according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, while the Seattle Police Department (SPD) lost more than 130 officers, KOMO News reported, as homicides, shootings and motor vehicle thefts increased. Local business owners say law enforcement is failing to effectively deter the rampant drug use and theft

Former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger is selling signed hardcover copies of the January 6 Committee Report for $100 through his County First PAC’s website.
Kinzinger joined former Rep. Liz Cheney as the only two House Republicans to serve on the January 6 Committee. The January 6 Committee issued its final report last month after finishing a nearly 18-month investigation into the January 6 Capitol riots.
Further, Kinzinger was one of ten House Republicans to vote to impeach former President Donald Trump in the aftermath of the riots.
All proceeds of the $100 report will “benefit the US Capitol Police Memorial Fund,”

President Joe Biden’s Justice Department reportedly permitted the president’s personal attorneys to search for classified documents in separate locations without security clearances or the FBI present.
Critics have questioned why Biden’s personal attorneys were initially looking for classified documents. Others have questioned why the president’s legal team was continuing to search his home Thursday for classified documents after a special counsel was appointed earlier that day.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the initial search, authorized by DOJ, involved people with no security clearance looking for potentially classified material.

During the National Action Network’s Annual MLK Day Breakfast on Monday, President Joe Biden once again took a swipe at Second Amendment supporters, asserting that if they plan to take on the federal government they’ll need F-15s, not AR-15s.
He vowed to implement another assault weapons ban, which constitutionally is not feasible since Republicans now control the House of Representatives. If he does it by executive order, the Supreme Court is sure to weigh in on the issue.
“And I’ll say what I said then and I’ll say it over and over again: I am going to get assault weapons banned. I did it once, and

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed Tuesday she has been 'forthcoming' as she was grilled about the classified documents found in Joe Biden's possession - but she repeatedly referred questions to other federal entities.
She argued the president has been answering questions on the matter - on the same day he sat, smiling in silence, as he ignored inquiries being asked by the press. In an Oval Office meeting with Netherlands' Prime Minister Mark Rutte, Biden smirked as shouting reporters were led from the room.
Meanwhile, Jean-Pierre argued that 'we have addressed multiple questions from here. Multiple questions have been answered by the President.'

Joe Biden’s mishandling of top-secret documents is not the only way he has jeopardized America’s national security. He did something arguably even worse as vice-president.
New York Times best-selling author Ronald Kessler wrote an article in Tuesday’s Daily Mail detailing how. Biden was so obsessed with his so-called “regular Joe” image that he wanted the nuclear football traveling at least one mile behind his motorcade on trips to his Delaware home.
Had a foreign adversary launched a nuclear strike during those trips, America would have no way of responding in kind. This means America could have been wiped out thanks to Biden’s narcissism.

President Joe Biden has reportedly spent 163 days of his presidency at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, where the Secret Service claimed Sunday no visitor logs exist.
Critics have raised questions about who might have visited Biden’s residence after his attorneys found classified documents stashed in the home’s garage.
In total, Biden has spent 163 days over the course of 49 trips to his Wilmington residence, according to the Republican National Committee’s “Big Guy tracker.” It is unknown how many days Biden spent at the home after leaving the White House in 2017 and before assuming the Oval Office in 2021.

According to a bombshell new report, the Department of Justice (DOJ) opted out from sending FBI agents to President Joe Biden’s Delaware home where classified documents were found.
The DOJ decided to look the other way as Biden’s personal attorneys searched the home for top secret documents.
“The Justice Department considered having FBI agents monitor a search by President Biden’s lawyers for classified documents at his homes but decided against it, both to avoid complicating later stages of the investigation and because Mr. Biden’s attorneys had quickly turned over a first batch and were cooperating, according to people familiar with the matter,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

President Biden’s personal attorney who discovered a batch of classified materials at the DC think tank that bears Biden’s name has spoken with federal investigators probing the case, according to a report.
Patrick Moore, the lawyer the 80-year-old president tasked with cleaning out his former office at the Penn Biden Center last November, reportedly met with US Attorney John Lausch’s team after finding some 10 highly sensitive documents, according to CNN.
The interview came during the Justice Department’s initial phases of the investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, the news outlet said on Tuesday.
