Thom Tillis Is Why That Red Wave Didn’t Materialize

Original Article

Posted By: earlybird, 12/15/2022 1:18:20 PM

Yes, the headline isn’t really fair to Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Republican senator who wasn’t on the ballot in last month’s midterms. You’ll forgive the unfairness, perhaps. But life isn’t fair. And honestly, Tillis’ lame-duck-session amnesty gambit is deserving of much worse than the headline above. Here’s Stephen Kruiser at PJ Media: One of the more frustrating aspects of being a conservative Republican is the constant need to look over one’s shoulder for stealth attacks by moderate squish members of the GOP on important issues like health care, gun control, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. Such ideological shivs in the back always arrive under the execrable guise of bipartisanship.

Requested permission to post this because Tillis’s amnesty gambit has failed. Hurray! And I called him a dunce elsewhere. Squish is better… Thank you,Mr. McKay...

There is plenty of valid blame on RINOs that legitimately applies, but election integrity is the REAL reason. Looking for scapegoats is a fun pass-time, but unless we get election integrity, the only blame will go on those who did/could not close the holes in the ballot harvesting/curing/fabrication by the dims.

I was listening to a radio show where the hosts talked about all the reasons repubs keep losing. They tap danced around the 500lb gorilla in the room. Uniparty candidates are not trusted by the voters. Tillis is an example. Voters tired of the bait and switch tactics used by the GOPe, and the election results reflect this.

With an illegal alien invasion ongoing at the southern border, Tillis betrayed the GOP base voters with cosponsorship of an amnesty bill that apparently failed according to an article published today. Tillis is worthless. He deserves to be bounced in his next primary. As for “Fightin’ Roy Blount,” Burr and Portman. Good riddence. Their successors have to be better.

The proposed Tillis amnesty plan is stupid, and is a big reason why the Republican Party has been called the Stupid Party for so long. Tillis reportedly wants to grant an immediate Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesty to several million Obama administratively and unconstitutionally created so-called “Dreamers” who are now adult illegal aliens who were supposedly brought into or sent into the USA unlawfully as children by their foreign parents. That amnesty would grant those illegal aliens an immediate amnesty, a legal immigration status, U.S. citizenship and being instructed in US voting rights by Democrat activists, and also the right to bring their foreign family members into the U.S. with legal immigration statuses. The remarkable thing about that is that Tillis appears to go along with a so-called family unification provision that would effectively allow the so-called “Dreamers” foreign parents, who either brought or sent the so-called “Dreamers” unlawfully to the USA, and caused that facet of mass uncontrolled illegal immigration the first place, the reward of a legal immigration status in the USA. Common sense and constant reporting will tell you that since Biden took office and created his “open borders” and “catch and release” schemes that have caused the borderline to go completely out of control, with huge numbers of illegal alien children being either brought into or being sent into the USA unlawfully by their foreign parents, was caused by the unconstitutional Obama-Biden “Dreamer” scheme, that has been widely reported in third world countries, with huge numbers of those foreign peoples believing that if they either bring or send their foreign origin children unlawfully into the USA that those children, even later as adults, will eventually be granted the same sort or amnesty that Tillis is now proposing, that will also grant them (the parents) a future legal immigration status in the USA as they approach their later years to take part in very expansive US social welfare benefits and programs. So essentially what Tillis is doing, by supporting such an amnesty, is effectively encouraging and inviting a new generation of of foreign parents in yet untold numbers to either bring or send their minor foreign origin children into the USA unlawfully to await another future amnesty.

A group of emergency physicians and consumer advocates in multiple states are pushing for stiffer enforcement of decades-old statutes that prohibit the ownership of medical practices by corporations not owned by licensed doctors. Thirty-three states plus the District of Columbia have rules on their books against the so-called corporate practice of medicine. But over the years, critics say, companies have successfully sidestepped bans on owning medical practices by buying or establishing local staffing groups that are nominally owned by doctors and restricting the physicians’ authority so they have no direct control.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court ruled the Trump-era suspension of entry at the Mexico border must remain in place while the high court considers an appeal filed by 19 states that sought to intervene in the case to defend the policy. The order in Arizona v. Mayorkas prompted cheers from Americans frustrated with the Biden Administration’s failure to defend our country’s borders. But it is not the justices’ job to make or enforce immigration policy, and conservatives applauding the stay for that reason should re-think their response. And yet, there is a legitimate reason to celebrate the Supreme Court’s decision to hear the appeal in Arizona v. Mayorkas,

Nothing is special about Christmas at the White House this year. In fact, not all the Bidens are represented in their Christmas decorations as the family continually ignores one of their grandchildren—Navy Jones Roberts. There is more of a representation to dogs and cats than bloodline this year. This is not a family who cares about family. Even mafias treat their own better. When Jill Biden gave her overview of the White House Christmas decor, there was nothing special about it. It was all secular praise. Except for the end of her speech when she (finally!) mentioned God’s blessings as if an afterthought, her speech only recognized the temporal.

As the academic Justina Hwang has noted, in the space of 25 years, between 1849 and 1874, more than 100,000 unskilled workers, many of them from China, arrived in Peru. Having recently abolished slavery, Peru was amid a worker shortage. This allowed “the importation of an indentured workforce of Chinese laborers in order to meet Peruvian need for labor,” (snip) (snip) Peru is home to around 60,000 Chinese people. The Dow Jones Media Titans index, which tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s biggest media companies, shed 40 percent this year, with its total market value declining from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion, according to a Financial Times report.
