Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who will be the chairman of the House Oversight Committee in the new Congress, appeared on Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Saturday and emphasized that Hunter and James Biden’s bank statements are going to be central to the committee’s investigation into President Joe Biden. On Thursday, Comer announced at a press conference that the Oversight Committee would be launching an investigation into the Biden family for potential violations, including “wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, violations of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, tax evasion, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.”

I can understand investigating bank records when there is cause for suspicion of shadiness in the transactions. But if I supported PDJT's right to keep personal tax statements from being made public, I suppose self-consistency obligates me to support FJB's right to keep personal bank statements from being made public.

#1, there are 150 Suspicious Activity Reports filed with Treasury Dept. from the labyrinth of L.L.C.s that were created to launder bribes and payoffs to the Biden Syndicate. There is not one reason to look into Trump's tax filings.

Does anyone even know how many corporations were set up by Hunter? Other members of the Biden Crime Family? Is it possible that bribes from foreign countries came in the form of cryptocurrency? Gold? Gems? Remember that Hunter, and I suppose other family members traveled on Air Force Two, and now Air Force One, with full diplomatic immunity. Could some of the corporations be in the names of Hunter's hookers? Distant Biden family members? Could there be IOUs? If the federal attorney cut a deal with Hunter, Hunter, two years from now, could plead guilty to the firearms violation, receive probation, and have all other charges dismissed with prejudice.

I just do not know why Republicans keep signaling our strategy. Why? Just shut up and get the work done. No need to give anyone a heads up. This is the same thing that Darrell Issa and Trey Gowdy did. Quit telling the world what you are going to do. Just do it.

Breitbart is getting a little too close to the edge for comfort. One of the first things the First Vegetable did on 1/20 after shutting down the pipeline was to put the Suspicious Activity Reports out of sight from even Congressional reach.

Former President Donald Trump could stand to lose millions of dollars if he succumbs to temptation and resumes communicating with the masses through Twitter now that new boss Elon Musk reinstated his account. Despite Musk’s apparent attempts to goad Trump into tweeting again, Trump has insisted that he is content to stay put at his own social media platform, Truth Social, which he founded after he was banned by mainstream tech platforms last year. The reinstatement of Trump’s Twitter account comes at a pivotal juncture for the 45th president, who recently announced his intention to run again for the White House

Most believe the incoming Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives should take action, including investigating Hunter Biden and ending the January 6 committee, November’s Harris Poll/HarrisX survey revealed. The survey found Americans desiring the House to take a series of actions — some of which could happen with Republicans taking over the lower chamber.  Nearly two-thirds, 65 percent, agree that the House should investigate the “Hunter Biden laptop,” specifically. Further, 71 percent said the House should “investigate the origins” of the Chinese coronavirus, and 77 percent believe the House should “investigate the FBI and whether politics has been playing a role in its actions.”

As a matter of fact, during the 2010 midterm election cycle-- the first for Barack Obama -- the numerical result regarding congressional seats was what some may have thought would trend in this 2022 midterm cycle. No, I am not talking about 63 seats, but many felt that there would be a number between 25-35 that could have flipped. The end result, though, is still the same:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing. “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin,” Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers, told the court during the Nov. 1 hearing in federal court
