Thank you, Donald Trump

Original Article

Before I wrote, "Life after Trump," I should have written this post thanking President Donald John Trump. Allow me to correct this by quoting one of my dearest and now confused readers. To protect his identity, I will simply call him Mister Jones. He wrote, "Trump gave us a conservative majority SCOTUS....tax cuts.....lowest unemployment in recorded history, especially for POC....Started no new military 'conflicts'....Jerusalem embassy....world respect...USA out of climate accords....tough on China.... need I go on? Continue to Refresh the memory? Remind who brought us to the dance? "Ungrateful b*****ds. 🤬Fetterman’s got a legit reason for memory loss.😱🙄."

Comments:

That’s more like it, Don…more like what we’d have expected of you, one of his most staunch supporters.

Thanks, Don for at least correcting your oversight and giving the man his due. I am not so hasty to say, after weighing all the positives in this article, against one (major) election cycle that i am willing to change partners. I want DeSantis to keep doing for florida and building his brand. To think that the cia fbi nsa etc won’t run espionage campaigns against him seems unlikely. Don, are you saying that we must have candidates reasonably acceptable to the Establishment? Acceptable enough that they won’t use the instruments of state to attack? I am willing to assess where we are, what the meaning of this election is. But to start with a new candidate in the hope that he’ll be acceptable to the establishment and still be able to pry their filthy hands off of our throats? Sounds unlikely.

If Donald Trump decides to run in 2024, he has our votes, support, and donations!!!! For all the reasons stated in this article, he deserves them!!!! He should be president right now if it weren't for the Demon-Rat mastery of election theft in 2020!!!!! The last I checked, Donald Trump is 219-16 in wins-loses for the people he supported in these midterm elections. No, he wasn't perfect. He actually supported people in lie-beral states that really didn't have a serious chance of winning, and that at least helped them be competitive. We still have a very good chance to take the House, and a reasonable chance to take the Senate. People are mad because Donald Trump is already in campaign mode for 2024 (both for the primaries and the general election). People are mad because Donald Trump is being Donald Trump instead of some professional politician. But, as far as my husband and myself, Donald Trump is still the best chance we have to try to save our republic from the disaster that Senile Joe bidet and the Demon-Rats are doing to it until January of 2025!!! The only reason we will vote for any other Republican than Trump in 2024 is if Donald Trump decides not to run again.

Well, if we move on from Trump we will have been taught the lesson The Establishment wanted us to learn. You may pick a candidate from Column A or Column B. You are not permitted to pick from Column C. If you do, we will undermine him. We will personally destroy the man. Because it is our party, not yours. Your job is to vote for our "Donor's Choice" candidate, then go away. I believe that four more years of Trump will permanently bury those people. They will survive and claw their way back with anyone else. So...have we learned our lesson yet? Or are you prepared to extend to such people The Middle Finger again?

Well, I didn't fall for anything and I am not sorry for anything I have said. I will support Donald Trump but I am speechless that he wants to speak poorly of Ron DeSantis. I am disappointed that he has to make a big announcement one week after the election. I am so burned out on elections ESPECIALLY when it takes days/weeks to count. Leaders have become so self-centered rather than people-focused and that includes Donald Trump. He could have left things alone with Ron DeSantis. We have enough problems with Democrats. . .

How did the Red Wave succeed in Florida and flounder elsewhere? Before we are ready to throw PDT out with the bath water, take a step back consider this. Democrats have prepared a game of Ballots vs Votes in most battleground states - Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado etc. Florida was on their list but DeSantis effectively foiled them and forced a vote vs vote election . Look at the results. Trump does not control the machinery in the above states. He fought hard but Ballots vs Votes is no contest. Say DeSantis becomes the nominee in ‘24. Can he work his magic outside Florida? I frankly am skeptical. Also Trump is self financed. Beholden to none. DeSantis might be honest but needs financiers. What will be their demands on him? I would recommend postpone all talk of Trump vs DeSantis for now. Focus on (a) How to use the House majority. ( b) Win the Georgia run off (c) Put our heads together and figure out how to force the ‘Rats to play by rules in the battleground states.

Kinda hard to have a "Red Wave" when the Demonrats are using the SAME Election Steal Playbook from 2020, unhindered. Too many close wins for Demonrats ALL within the same margin of victory (impossible). Trump DID deliver and he travelled tirelessly stumping for candidates which made a difference. Did you see G.W. Well, Don, I have moved on from your blog. I haven't moved on from Donald Trump. I just find it interesting that Ron DeSantis was a pretty obscure Congressman (less than 6 years) and barely eeked out a win over Gillum in 2018. Prior to that, an attorney in the Navy and DOJ for a few years. And then, bam, thanks to Covid and his response, he's the newest GOP star. I don't know, but I am curious who and whose money is backing him. Sorry, but I see shades of how another obscure member of Congress all of sudden became the Dem star and we got Obama. Now granted, DeSantis is not Obama in policies, etc., but still....

#14 President Trump told his supporters in Florida to vote for Gov. DeSantis prior to election. Does that sound like he's speaking poorly of Gov. DeSantis? Calm down! Politics is not bean bag! And fellow conservatives can differ and speak out publicly and then support each other. You have to be tough to be in politics. Hurt feelings can be your worse enemy. Jeb Bush never got over that, but Marco and Ted Cruz did. If you will remember Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz and President Trump said things about each other that wasn't "nice" in 2016 but now that's in the past, and they are supporters of each other!!! President Trump's endorsement (at his rally) of Marco gave Marco a win of 17% Nov.8. How about that?

Many Democrats this year hoped to break the tie in the U.S. Senate by winning a number of vulnerable GOP-held seats in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin that had voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020. While the latter two voted for Joe Biden by narrow margins in 2020, the Buckeye State went for Trump by 8 percentage points. Still, Representative Tim Ryan from the 13th Congressional District in northeastern Ohio’s Mahoning Valley figured it was his turn. One reason may have been the state GOP’s redistricting, which resulted in the dismembering of his district such that it lost Democratic voters from Akron and surrounding Summit County.
