Alex Wagner concluded her first week as MSNBC’s newest primetime host on Friday by alleging that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and others seeking to use public schools to promote “Christian nationalism” at the expense of real history and civics.
During a conversation with Salon’s Kathryn Joyce took aim at the left’s latest boogeyman: Hillsdale College, “And how is Hillsdale -- talk more about the connection between Hillsdale and Ron DeSantis specifically. We know that [Hillsdale President] Larry Arnn is a big fan of Ron DeSantis. But Hillsdale’s actually in some of the Florida laws regarding education.

Christian is good.
Nationalism is good.
Something was going to appear to counter-balance the black nationalism the dem are pushing.
Could have been much worse than 'Christian Nationalism'.

MSDNC twisting and turning to change the narrative. Trying to find a way to blame DeSantis as being “non inclusive” to all. Hillsdale is expert at teaching history and constitutional principles. They are the best because our kids deserve the best.

Yes, this is the new narrative from the left. It’s the new category to define and demonize anyone to the right of Vladimir Lenin. You love your country AND you’re a Christian?? Horror of horrors! Double whammy!! Don’t you know you’re supposed to be a communist globalist?

I wondered when they'd go after Larry and Hillsdale, bright lights in the sewer that is academia.

Is that outfit relevant? Who cares what they think. Christian values built this country. If MSNBC folks aren't happy they can live in Iran and see how they like it there. No Christians allowed,

What do leftists want? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian values. Is that bad? Is patriotism bad? We overcame slavery? Is that bad? America, a force for good, has improved life all around the world, in just the 246 years of it's existence. Is that bad? I realize the left has to have abortion at all costs, and all kinds of perversion, but jeez! We have a corrupt Capitol City. Does the left complain about that? No, they don't. In fact, they cheer it on.

Well crap, even if so, it's way better than transgenderism, and gay pride, and drag queens reading books to kids...and when was real history and civics, as well as reading and writing last taught? Oh, it's ok to teach a kindergartner to put a condom on a cucumber, or how to transition to an unnormal life style right???

Tell them yes, we are pushing Christian nationalism. Then inform them it is to compete with the communism/satanism currently being pushed and destroying our country. Own it.

For all the stated concerns about the evils of "nationalism," schemes to compel lying by citizens (starting when they are children) is an attempt to normalize, affirm, and yes, nationalize FALSE beliefs within our educational, legal and medical systems.
There is nothing moral about forcing students (or teachers) to refer to a boy as "she" or a girl as "he."
There is nothing moral, fair, nor sane about allowing males to claim "female identity" so they can dominate female athletic competitions. Allowing naked men to "share" female locker rooms and showers, strips females of their dignity. Democrats do not object to treating women this way. They support it. See you at the polls.

MSBS, let me 'splain. We WILL go back to having our children stand at the beginning of each school day with hand over the heart reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States. Don't like it? Then leave this beautiful country.

Well...let's see.
Christianity. The 10 Commandments. Sermon on the Mount. The Golden Rule.
Not seeing a real "downside" there....
Natiinalism. Ghandi. Nelson Mandela. The Dalai Lama. All nationalists.
Not seeing the downside there either. Perhaps someone can elaborate?

I am thinking many of the founding fathers were the first "Christian Nationalists". So much of what they wrote is misinterpreted and misused by the crazy left. Scholars and intellectuals, and I am neither, but I look up a lot of stuff, look at the context at the time and the foundations for our country. The leaders believed our rights came from God and our independence, well, I think came from the blood spilled fighting for a free country. Seems pretty compelling to me!

Christianity as opposed to the Sodom and Gomorrah level filth that the media and education system is pushing right now. I know which I would rather have had my kids involved in.
