The state of Florida will no longer cover “gender-affirming” care under Medicaid, the state’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) ruled Thursday. Doctors will no longer be able to bill the state’s Medicaid program for procedures and drugs including sex changes, puberty blockers and hormone therapies beginning Aug. 21. Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has taken an increasingly hostile stance toward these treatments for people suffering from gender dysphoria, particularly children, according to Politico.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced this week that officers in county schools will carry long guns and will be prepared to “meet violence with violence” and win the day.
Florida Today quoted Ivey saying, “You are not coming into my schools and killing our children.”
He noted, “I firmly believe that if you do not meet violence with violence, you will be violently killed.”
Ivey posted a video to Facebook in which he announced that officers will have long guns on their persons, in order to save time that would have been wasted running to a squad car to retrieve the firearm during an attack.

The search warrant used to execute the raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home earlier this week revealed the ex-president is currently under federal investigation for obstruction of justice and violations of the Espionage Act, USA Supreme has confirmed.
The shocking revelation was made Friday afternoon after Trump’s legal team failed to oppose a motion previously made by the Dept. of Justice to unseal a copy of the search warrant used to raid his Palm Beach, Florida estate on Monday.
According to Politico, who obtained and reviewed a copy of the newly released search warrant,
President Donald Trump on Friday ridiculed a report suggesting he had classified documents about nuclear weapons at his home at Mar-a-Lago, which prompted the FBI raid on Monday.
“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more,” Trump wrote on social media.
The Washington Post cited “people familiar with the investigation,” who claimed the FBI was searching Trump’s home for “classified documents relating to nuclear weapons.”
No other details were provided.

Thank you, Governor DeSantis. I totally agree. If that's what a person wants to do then they need to pay for their own medical. I do not authorize any of my tax money to go for someone who take hormones to produce fake breasts Not only that but this should be an adult procedure only as well as the hormone therapy. It should not be allowed for anyone under 21, the legal drinking age.
