John Solomon, founder and editor-in-chief of Just the News, noted on Tuesday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow that whistleblowers from the Federal Bureau of Investigaion (FBI) warned of “political manipulation” at the FBI’s Washington Field Office, which conducted a raid on Monday of former President Donald Trump’s personal residence at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
FBI Director Christopher Wray has not “taken” the whistleblowers’ allegations of partisan political corruption at the FBI “as seriously as the proof and evidence now merit,” Solomon stated.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago says a lot about where we are as a country but if you look closely it says a lot less about us and a lot more about the Democrats.
As I spent a lot of time explaining during Wednesday’s RedState LIVE!, the Democrats have shown just how desperate they are to stop Trump, so much so that they’ll cook up one of the worst excuses to raid anyone in the history of ever, and a former president no less. It’s abundantly clear that they fear him running in 2024 and are searching relentlessly for something, anything, that might prohibit him from being a candidate.
But it’s not just

We are all waiting to see the next steps establishment Washington takes following the raid at Mar-a-Lago. As details emerge, the reason for the intrusive spectacle becomes less clear. It has undoubtedly divided Americans along partisan lines. However, the obvious political persecution of the former president is drawing some new lines. People notice when you put that kind of banana republic nonsense on top of a horrible economy. According to a new poll from Convention of States and Trafalgar Group, the majority of Independents, 53.9%, believe Trump’s political enemies are behind the FBI Raid. They join 76.7% of Republicans who hold the same view. The two groups are also aligned on enthusiasm

Americans who earn less than $75,000 per year are slated to receive 60% of the additional tax audits expected under Democrats' spending package, according to an analysis released by House Republicans. The analysis, which is a conservative estimate based upon recent audit rates and tax filing data, shows that individuals with an annual income of $75,000 or less would be subject to 710,863 additional Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits while those making more than $1 million would receive 52,295 more audits under the bill. The legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act, would roughly double the IRS' budget to increase enforcement and, therefore, federal tax revenue.

It seems the DOJ has decided to leak an explanation of their decision to use a search warrant in this case. Newsweek just published an exclusive report based on anonymous DOJ sources which claims the FBI had a confidential source at Mar-a-Lago, one who informed them that Trump was hiding documents and even specified where they could be found.
The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.

Washington - The Department of Justice charged an Iranian national on Wednesday for plotting to assassinate former President Donald Trump's national security advisor John Bolton.
Shahram Poursafi, 45, of Tehran, Iran, tried to arrange the killing of Bolton in retaliation for the January 2020 death of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qasem Soleimani, according to court documents. Poursafi, a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, attempted to pay individuals in the United States in October 2021 a reward of $300,000 to carry out the plot in either Washington, D.C. or Maryland.

Inflation came in a smidge under expectations in July and — this time, for sure, they mean it — Presidentish Joe Biden’s economy has bottomed out and prosperity is just around the corner.
To hear CNN and other state organs tell the story, that is. Markets are up on the news, probably because traders expect the Fed to use any handy excuse to stop the interest rate hikes.
I haven’t seen this big a celebration since our most recent battlefield victory over Eastasia, with whom Oceania has always been at war. Unless we’ve always been at war with Eurasia.
Just like the glorious economic news,

Inflation surged 8.5 percent in July compared to the same month last year, down slightly from the four-decade high reached in June, the Labor Department announced Wednesday.
The Consumer Price Index, a key measure of the cost of goods and services, dropped slightly due to a decline in record-high fuel prices which drove the previous month’s historic inflation spike. The increase also beat expectations as economists surveyed by Dow Jones expected headline CPI to increase 8.7 percent year-over-year in July.
Excluding volatile food and fuel prices, core inflation rose 5.9 percent annually and 0.3 percent monthly.

Former president Trump announced Wednesday that he invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer questions in New York attorney general Letitia James’ civil investigation into his family’s real-estate holdings.
“Under the advice of my counsel and for all of the above reasons, I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution,” Trump said in a statement. “I once asked, ‘If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?’ Now I know the answer to that question.”
Trump arrived at James’s office Wednesday morning to be deposed after his children Ivanka Trump and Don Jr.

About a day after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and resort, his pick for Wisconsin governor has won the Republican primary, according to a race call by The Associated Press. Late in the campaign, Trump endorsed construction executive and self-described political newcomer Tim Michels who spent millions of his own dollars on a TV ad blitz, painting himself as a businessman and "outsider" who wants to turn government upside down.
Michels may not earn his living in politics, but he's not a political newcomer. He first ran for office in 1998, losing a Republican primary for state Senate to now-U.S. Rep. Scott Fitzgerald.

The attorneys for President Donald Trump are now spilling the beans on some of the issues with the FBI raid of his home and the search warrant.
Trump attorney Alina Habba appeared on Fox News with Jesse Watters. She said that they had been cooperating with the National Archives over the records and that this was completely “unconstitutional.” “Our country should be terrified—I am terrified,” Habba exclaimed. She said the FBI went in when he wasn’t even there, and then told his attorneys to leave, that they couldn’t watch or be there. “That doesn’t sound good to me,” she declared.Habba said the agents came in wearing backpacks

The “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC dedicated extensive time Tuesday morning to the stunning news that former President Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida home of Mar-a-Lago was raided Monday night by the FBI with a search warrant reportedly pursuant to a possible Presidential Records Act violation.
However, the liberal networks were surprisingly not ready to celebrate with ABC and CBS noting there’s been very little “transparency from the Justice Department or the FBI” and, if they had only sought boxes of presidential records, it would be correctly viewed as “overreach” by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
