NYC Mayor Eric Adams mooted housing 3,000 illegal immigrants who've overwhelmed homeless shelters in hotels - and said he wants taxpayer cash from Joe Biden to do so.
During a press conference on Thursday, Adams told a room of reporters that in order to house those who cross the border illegally: 'If we have to get hotel rooms, we get hotel rooms.'
Adams also said 'our team has been in constant contact with the White House' and added that he wants the federal government to release funds in order 'to deal with this unprecedented surge' of migrants.
According to reports, the city is struggling to cope

Better New York than here. Send them all to blue cities and states. Let them deal with them. You broke, you bought it.

Is it possible for the crime rate to go up any more in NYC? These new drug addicts are going to need a lot of head candy.

This is so familiar.
When my grandparents came to this country - - illiterate and penniless - - they were greeted by a parade in their honor - - and taken to the finest hotel in the city. Their every need - - food, clothing, medical care, entertainment - - was taken care of. I've heard the same story - - from nearly every friend and colleague I've ever had.
Yes - - that's the way it was back then. Immigrants were treated royally by the taxpayers - - just as they are now.

Sportin' Life is a very dull tool...but a useful tool nevertheless. And to think that NYC used to be a shining avatar of American Greatness.

Of course, the Democrat solution will only make matters worse. In this country, a homeless person has made a whole series of disastrously poor decisions, culminating in their situation today. To enable that sort of decision-making in the worst possible solution,.

He’s not ‘demanding’ cash from Biden. He’s demanding it from American taxpayers who don’t want these people here and have no interest in paying for their upkeep.

Tourists decided to choose life (their own) and pass on the Big Apple - Dollywood is nicer. Now NYC has lots of available hotel rooms. They can be permanently booked to provide free housing to criminals from other countries paid for by taxpayers from other states. Mindboggling. Only conquered nations are ruled by a regime that hates them. The good news is that it's always followed by rebellion.

Well, no one has a reason to visit NYC unless they want to become a crime victim, so there are probably a lot of vacant hotel rooms.

Boo freakin' hoo! Cry me a River Mayor Eight Ball. Put these people on the bus and send them back to Texas for deportation, instead of being a bleeding heart. The Times won’t like that but you’re not putting them up in their neighborhood. Do that and they will get behind you returning them. You are saying New York can’t handle this influx, so send the illegals back. These are all the people the government dropped off at Westchester Airport at three in the morning. Notice that they didn’t go to Connecticut. There was nothing there for them. The free stuff is in New York.

It's always the blue states, the ones we're told drive the American economy, that can't make it without piles of taxpayer money from red states! Creating problems is easy, as long as you can get other people's money to spend on them!

Take a picture of the Waldorf before then three months from now take an after picture that's what all of New York will look like. On the bright side the governor will let them have abortions if they desire. One requirement should be that they learn to sing New York New York and wear a I (heart) NY t-shirt for identification.

Beware if you live near a new unrented apartment complex. The Haitian refugees flooded Baton Rouge and the government installed them in new apartments near LSU. It remains a dangerous part of town to this day.

Instead of demanding taxpayer's pay for biden's open border....which mayor Eric of New York approves of...perhaps he should demand biden close the border...until them..wonder how hotel residents feel about the illegals staying in hotels at their expense...everything is coming home to rooster...as obama's friend said..."it's coming home to roost"....

LORD, HAVE MERCY!!! = Captain America, Eric Adams thought being the Mayor was going to be a dress up affair and he would startle the public with his fine apparel choices and fine man jewels but now he's finding it is a "job" and a very serious "job" at that - about time he addresses the pertinent issues of the city and not what he'll be wearing for the next photo op - he is, as we used to say in the U.S. Army long ago: "he's a sorry son-of-a-_ _ _ _ _"

Of course, it has to be cash. Adams is laundering his share with his tailor, and the Bidet puts it up in one of his many offshore accounts. This country is run by street thugs who parade around in suits and pretend to hold 'elected' offices!

If he gives NYC $$$ his regime will be flooded with lawsuits demanding the $$$ for problems he caused.
Considering his losing record with the courts forget it Adams.

My Give-A-Dam's Busted!
Noo Yawk is squalling over 3,000 'undocumented immigrants' that are "OVERWHELMING the System" when The HairSniffer's deliberate ignoring of the Law is forcing Texas and the other Southern Border states to deal with 7,000.....more than Twice as many....EVERY DAY!
Surely, such a Vibrant Sanctuary City of what.....8 MILLION can find jobs for a measly 3,000 'undocumented guests'!
