President Joe Biden considered a Republican running mate for 2020 in secret conversations with a top donor, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Walmart board chairman Greg Penner, who has donated over $640,000 to political campaigns since 1999, had back-channel talks with Hunter Biden in 2018 and 2019 to set up Joe with Republican former Ohio governor John Kasich for a bipartisan presidential ticket.
The plot, revealed in text messages, emails, and a phone call recording on Hunter's abandoned laptop, gives an insight into political strategies the president considered in an attempt to win the White House.

How would joining Kasich to the ticket be considered bipartisan? Is that same as saying the Jan 6th committee is bipartisan?

Joe Scarborough, retired four-term REPUBLICAN Congressman. He could have been another candidate for a bipartisan ticket. But NO. It had to go to any breathing black woman, (those are the rules). It couldn't even go to a bi-Butt-it-gig, not this time. Maybe next time. Now if they could find a black trans-RINO LGBT Muslim American Hating Communist that's "clean and articulate - I mean, that's a storybook, man".

You #7, there are several other “Republicans” he could have considered (and who would have JUMPED at the chance to “serve.”

President Lincoln ran on a unity ticket with Andrew Jackson (D) as his VP, who took over after the assassination of Lincoln.
Jackson didn't help the freed slaves much after taking office, but did help the Southern Democrats create a new system after Reconstruction.
The Democrats were so all-in on the new system changes, they gave up the challenge to the 1876 Presidential election, with the agreement the Federal troops were leave the South, which ushered in Jim Crow laws that took away right's from Blacks, and not just in the South but many Northern cities had laws too.

My knowledge of history is rather incomplete, but I believe #13 means Andrew _Johnson_. Andrew Jackson was indeed a Democrat, but was a presidential candidate much earlier than Lincoln's term in office.

Why would the Delaware Dummy pick a Republican VP who could not win a single primary in 2016? The Dems will never again have two white dudes on the ticket.

Well, Kasich does self identify as a black Democrat woman, so he would have filled the bill.

#15 Correct, #13 has his Jackson/Johnson names switched is all. Andrew Johnson was an illiterate tailor from Greensboro TN that cared more about losing his gig in DC than his party, so he was the only Democrat to stay. V.P. was a political tactic that went sideways when another Democrat murdered Lincoln. Johnson revoked Special Field Orders, No. 15 (40 acres and a mule). The 15th Amendment (Slavery) was passed by the House when Lincon died but not ratified. Johnson tried to stop that, so they impeached him and almost removed him. Again, he decided he liked the gig better and played along.

The Democrats can never have an White male presidential ticket in the future. In order to have any chance of winning future elections, the Democrats need a huge Black vote, and to get that Black vote, there must be a “person of color” on future Democrat presidential tickets.
