People have been asking me what I think of the CDC approval of these vaccine for babies and young children, and I have to ask them, do you really not know what I think?
I mean, seriously?
Have you looked at the VAERS data lately? The CDC apparently has not. In the USA alone, there have been 831,801 adverse events, of which 12,776 are life threatening. There have been 63,978 hospitalizations. There have been 13,293 deaths and 14,232 permanent disabilities from these vaccines. (snip)
The CDC (snip) has now admitted that even though they had promised to analyze the VAERS data before advising about these vaccines for children, they did not.

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Thursday praised fellow Justice Clarence Thomas for his dedication to the high court’s integrity in light of recent protests and threats that were made against the institution.
Speaking at the American Constitution Society, Sotomayor (snip) said Thomas is a “man who cares deeply about the court as an institution.”
And while the two often disagree in their opinions, Sotomayor said she and Thomas have a “common understanding about people and kindness towards them,” adding, “Justice Thomas is the one justice in the building that literally knows every employee’s name, every one of them. And (snip) he remembers their families’ names and histories.”

After losing his wife to cancer, a widower let their three young children set up camp by his bedside so that the family of four could feel safe together. Now, over two years later, the children still sleep by his bedside, and their mother’s memory lives strong.
Brandon Janous, 41, of Knoxville, Tennessee, married his sweetheart, Rachel, in 2010, and together they welcomed daughters Hadley, now 10, and Cooper, now 9, and a son, Macklin, now 7.
On March 1, 2020, after a two-year battle with cancer, Rachel passed away.

Cherlisa Starks-Richardson was disappointed when she learned that the beloved children's museum in her community was selling a "watermelon salad" in celebration of Juneteenth.
Starks-Richardson, who often took her daughter to the Indianapolis Children's Museum growing up, said she expected the museum would be more focused on educating the public about Juneteenth -- which celebrates the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans -- instead of serving themed foods. To make matters worse, she said, watermelon has historically been used as a racist trope against Black Americans.
"People were very offended by it," said Starks-Richardson, an educator in the Indianapolis area. "Everybody is trying to capitalize off Juneteenth to make money.

If one watches episodic police and detective dramas, there often occurs a scene wherein a culprit is apprehended and charged as an accomplice “after the fact” for helping to cover up the crime. In the British equivalent of such shows, the police use the phrase “perverting the course of justice.” The bottom line is, if one aids in concealing, distracting, or diverting attention from the criminal act to prevent its detection, one is guilty of participating in a criminal enterprise, whether it be before or after the fact.

Elon Musk, in a recently released video, has again called out the Biden administration over its alleged bias against his flagship company Tesla because it is non-unionized.
“The current Democratic Party does not support Tesla because it is not unionized,” Musk said during a lengthy late May interview, (snip) “The pressure on this will increase over time,” he added.
“The more Tesla is successful, the more Tesla is an existential threat to the UAW [United Auto Workers]. And so the more pressure they’ll put on the people that they got elected to do harm to Tesla,” (snio)
“They would rather Tesla was dead than be alive and non-unionized.”

The United States has increased heavy crude imports amid Western sanctions on Russia and President Joe Biden’s letter calling on U.S. energy producers to make more gasoline and diesel.
Customs data shows that U.S. refiners last month imported the highest number of crude barrels in nearly two years, with refiners importing 33.5 million barrels of heavy crude in May.
According to the data, 56 vessels discharged nearly 1.1 million barrels per day (bpd) of Mexico’s Maya, Ecuador’s Napo and Oriente, and Iraq’s Basra heavy, among other grades.
Heavy crudes cost less than lighter shale oils that are produced in the United States and typically produce more diesel and less gasoline.

Lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates are all measures not for health, but to get people under control and move toward the ultimate goal of digital ID and digital currency, said Dr. Michael Yeadon, former Pfizer vice president and chief scientific officer for allergy and respiratory research.
“In brief, I’m seeing fraud on a global scale, of which the drug companies are just part,” (snip)
“There is a huge push globally to persuade people that there is a health threat in order to get them to comply with various economy-destroying measures, and then follow them up with these injections. And I believe this is all ultimately to do with control.”

The Exxon Mobil Corportation fired back at President Joe Biden’s letter calling on U.S. energy producers to bring “near-term solutions” to address rising gas prices and decades-high inflation.
“In the short term, the U.S. government could enact measures often used in emergencies following hurricanes or other supply disruptions—such as waivers of Jones Act provisions and some fuel specifications to increase supplies,” (snip)
And in the longer term, the federal government “can promote investment through clear and consistent policy that supports U.S. resource development, such as regular and predictable lease sales, as well as streamlined regulatory approval and support for infrastructure such as pipelines,” according to ExxonMobil.

A Harvard University study on women across different racial groups suggests links between optimism and a longer lifespan; with the group scoring the highest on optimism associated with an extra 4.5 years of life when compared to the lowest-scoring group.
“Our findings suggest that there’s value to focusing on positive psychological factors, like optimism, as possible new ways of promoting longevity and healthy aging across diverse groups,” said lead author of the study, Hayami Koga.
The study found that optimism remained consistently correlated with longevity regardless of the factors considered whilst pessimism was associated with a shorter life span.

I really did not begin to understand the Washington DC/Bethesda- based National Institutes of Health (NIH) healthcare bureaucracy until my research laboratory was recruited and relocated from the University of California, Davis to the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine in 1997.(snip)The bureaucratic enterprise has become untouchable, and has become further entrenched by building “public-private partnerships” (essentially corporatism by another name) with the medical-industrial complex. Never mind the fact that this feedback loop of self interest has spawned one of the most expensive health care systems in the world, and that the overall health and longevity of the American taxpayers who fund it continues to slip, year by year,

The only thing that could curb the current record-high gasoline prices would be a major drop in demand, i.e. a recession, according to several experts.
(snip)
The American Petroleum Institute, an industry group, on June 14 released a list of 10 steps the U.S. government should take to boost domestic oil production, which still lags behind pre-pandemic levels and barely budged for half a year now. Top of the list is restarting drilling leases on federal land and speeding up project approvals. But since the Biden administration has centered its agenda around “decarbonizing” the economy, chances of any pro-oil policy moves are expected to be nil.
