I was skeptical that the Sussman prosecution would tell us much that is new, but some significant nuggets have come out. Like this one: “FBI brass were ‘fired up’ about now-debunked Trump-Russia ties.” FBI leaders, including then-Director James Comey, were “fired up” about a potential connection between the Trump campaign and Russia — which ultimately was proven false, text messages and court testimony revealed Tuesday. On Sept. 21, 2016, two days after Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann gave then-FBI General Counsel James Baker info about a supposed digital back channel

Never forget, that the FBI has a history of committing treason. With the complicity of the WaPoo, the second in command of the FBI brought down Nixon. All because Nixon didn't pick him to be the Director. This kind of history is why I was very fearful for Trump's safety when he was president. They also have a history of using vulnerable and easily manipulated people to do their dirty work as well. Trump being elected in the first place and surviving for 4 years is also proof to me that God had a hand in that election.

The Keystone Kops were feckless and funny. The FBI are criminals and traitors. Treason is a death penalty offense, as it should be, and it must be in this case. I won't hold my breath, so I'll settle for life in prison. But, really, where is the hope that any of these slimy swamp creatures will be punished? James Comey detailed all of Hillary's crimes and then waved it off as not worthy of prosecution. So now we've got a trial before a Dem judge and Dems on the jury in D.C. I submit the theory that the Deep State is doing a "limited hang-out" wherein lots of juicy tidbits will be revealed with gallons of ink is spilled and terabytes consumed by pundits, but there will be no meaningful punishments. The Clinesmith case is the template. The whole terrible story of a coup against a presidential candidate and eventual president will go down the memory hole. "What difference at this point does it make?"

A recount will be held for the Republican Pennsylvania Senate primary in Pennsylvania, the state’s top elections official announced on Wednesday. Dr. Mehmet Oz, the TV show host who was endorsed by former president Trump, led former hedge-fund manager Dave McCormick by 902 votes after all counties submitted unofficial vote tallies on Tuesday. An automatic vote recount is triggered under Pennsylvania law when a candidate wins by less than 0.5 percent of the vote, and Oz won the primary by 0.08 percent. “I want to emphasize that this automatic recount is intended to ensure that the count is accurate and that there is confidence in the results and outcome,”

For some of the officers who responded to the Texas school shooting, it was personal. When gunfire rang out at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, agents from Customs and Border Protection immediately responded. Law enforcement sources tell ABC News Border Patrol agents' children were inside. One CBP agent was shot, but is expected to make a recovery, sources said, one of at least a dozen agents -- both on-duty and off-duty -- who rushed to the scene. "Risking their own lives, these Border Patrol Agents and other officers put themselves between the shooter and children

That same special unit has recently been accused of using violent tactics and committing human rights violations. The Border Patrol agent reportedly entered the school without waiting for backup and shot and killed the gunman, Salvador Ramos, AP reported, and he was injured in the process. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz confirmed that agents in the area responded to the shooting on Twitter.

Billing records presented by the prosecution in Michael Sussmann’s false-statement trial indicate that Sussmann charged the Clinton campaign for work on the day he met with then-FBI general counsel James Baker in 2016 to present evidence of alleged backchannel communications between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank. Prosecutors allege that Sussmann lied to Baker when he asked for the meeting under the pretense that he was coming forward as a concerned citizen and not on behalf of any client. At the time of the meeting, Sussmann, then a partner at Perkins Coie, was representing the Clinton campaign

The 19 children and two teachers killed in Tuesday's elementary school massacre in Texas were in the same classroom, where the gunman "barricaded" himself and fired indiscriminately, a law enforcement official said Wednesday. Those who were hurt in the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde were also injured in that one classroom, Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Lt. Chris Olivarez told CNN. The shooter, identified by multiple senior law enforcement officials as Salvador Rolando Ramos, 18, "was able to make entry into a classroom, barricaded himself inside that classroom, and again, just began shooting, uh, numerous children and teachers

Donald J. Trump was the best POTUS in my very long lifetime. His policies were effective, making America prosperous, energy independent, and lowering minority unemployment to record low levels. Everything he did, with the possible exception of the COVID lockdown, was quintessentially Trump; competent, encouraging, and salutary for America and her people. We were blessed to have him in the White House. Although many Americans cringed, we nonetheless put up with Trump’s coarseness and his inflated ego because he gave America back to the people.

In her new book, DeVos claimed that Biden bent over, put his hands on her shoulders, pressed his forehead to hers, and “lingered” as she tried to roll back. “It was gross, and it was also a feeble attempt to intimidate me,”

The most remarkable aspect about today’s Harvard-Harris poll? It’s actually good news for Joe Biden. For the second month in a row, The Hill reports, Biden’s overall job approval comes in at 41/54. The problem isn’t so much overall approval as it is on the issues that will matter most to voters in the midterms: Biden’s overall approval rating sits at 41 percent in the survey, and the numbers are not much better when broken down by each issue. Only 35 percent of registered voters approve of Biden’s handling of the economy, 44 percent approve of his efforts to stimulate job growth and just 33 percent approve of his handling of inflation.

Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be the Republican nominee for the Arkansas gubernatorial race, Decision Desk HQ projects. As of 8:13 p.m. Central Time, Huckabee-Sanders is leading with 80.67 percent with 26 percent of the vote in. As Arkansas leans heavily red, the former Trump administration official will likely end up victorious in the general election in November. A March poll from the Remington Research Group shows her at 58 percent support, compared to 28 percent for her presumed Democratic opponent Chris Jones. This is unsurprising, especially when one also considers the wide unpopularity of Democrats in Washington at the moment trickling down to the state level.

That’s not a rhetorical question, by the way. Seriously, it’s hard not to wonder how it’s possible that Whoopi Goldberg fancies herself to be an authoritative voice on current events. Quite frankly, I can’t understand how that happened. She says a lot of dumb things. Like on Monday, she went into hysterics about the archbishop of San Francisco banning Nancy Pelosi from Holy Communion in his diocese over her pro-abortion views. “The archbishop of San Francisco is calling for speaker Nancy Pelosi to be denied receiving Communion because of her pro-choice stance,” Goldberg noted. “This is not your job, dude.
