We all know (except for Biden apparently) that inflation is up 8.5% YoY as measured by the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). However, the CPI change doesn’t fully capture what is crushing Americans’ pocketbooks...
Since Biden was installed ... prices for key commodities have soared. Natural gas futures UP 192%, Regular Gasoline prices UP 73.6%, Commodity Research Bureau Foodstuffs UP 59%, Low sulfur Diesel futures UP 176%...
now have the Biden’s Orwellian Ministry of Truth (actually The Department of Homeland Security’s “Disinformation Board”) which will start censoring free speech.

We are passively allowing this to happen. Quietly waiting for magical midterms, like it will change things. I don't know - haven't heard a peep out of Republicans indicating what they would do IF the wave happens and we give them the reigns of this runaway stagecoach.

Or, as I like to say, Biden is King Midas in Reverse - everything he touches turns to schiff.

“Progressive” policies that are intended to reach “utopia” usually result in dystopia. Case in point.

And psaki is telling us that the US will not suffer a food crisis like the rest of the world. Everything is sky high and going higher but we will not be affected. Yeah, right, wink, wink. And I lived through the carter years. This is going to be so much worse. It is worse. Yes, Republicans need to put out some harsh talk and plans on what they purpose to do. Here is hoping that there is another Reagan out there ready to take charge. We cannot wait until the presidential election to get our message out. Something needs to be done, now, soon before we lose all hope. Another Contract for American spelling out the problems and the solutions.

There would have been inflation regardless the outcome of the 2020 elections. Inflation was baked into the cake once lockdowns, shutdowns, eviction/foreclosure moratoriums and paying people to stay home became a thing. The problem is that the people in charge, outside of "red" states, have done nothing to mitigate the problem. Worse, every solution offered up makes matters worse.
Here's the truth. It's going to get a lot worse. For example. Meat is increasing in price due to the increasing fuel, labor and feed prices. Meat is readily available right now and the pricing is being held down due to the excess meat on the market. Farmers are culling their herds because they can't afford to feed the animals. This time next year, there will be less meat available, and it will be at higher prices. The democrats answer is to investigate grocers for price gouging. Grain prices are also going up. We import about 25% of our grain from Russia and Ukraine (when did that happen?) About 80% of our fertilizer is imported (most of it coming from Russia) and we have ongoing drought conditions. Bidens answer to higher fuel prices is to authorize MORE grain to be used for fuel.
The regime in charge in Washington doesn't understand economics, running a business, what it takes to manufacture a product and have no solutions. Just wait until they ban the selling of new internal combustion engine vehicles in 15 years. If you think gasoline is expensive now, just wait.

Rent and housing up 25%. Mortgage rates up 66%. Budget deficits up 40%--only $4 Trillion so far, so don't worry about it. Then, special thanks for ending the war in Afghanistan--but continuing to finance the Taliban, and starting another war in Ukraine. Texas adds their gratitude for swamping the state in illegal aliens for those communities to pay for housing, schooling, health, and road accidents, as none of them have insurance.

Spot on #5 - it's not the painful twisting of the rails right here and now - it's the train wreck on the way. And it boggles my mind how unprepared we will all be. There is no LEADERSHIP to stand in the way. And a mad Leftist at the throttle.

Anybody who buys anything already knows these numbers. They missed eggs having tripled or more in price.
The Dems are absolutely destroying the entire US economy, top to bottom, front to back, and it is all intentionally done. This is NOT due to "incompetence" or "stupidity".....they MEAN TO DO IT.

Everyone and anyone with half a brain knew that by electing Biden this would happen! He promised he would end fossil fuels and yet there are still people paying ridiculously high gas prices claiming that Biden is doing a good job. Once again proving the point that none so blind as willfully blind! Moreover, the radical Democrats are making no course corrections whatsoever. Continuing to elect these anti-American politicians, and some RINOS, is a classic case study in collective insanity!

It's only temporary and it's worth it to keep the 'planet' from becoming uninhabitable in 2, 5, 9 20 or 50 years.

Number 1 willarrbee says we are passively standing by and watching this happen.
Well What else can we do. We can no longer go to Washington without facing arrest, Writing to cowardly Republicans or Sht simple democrats does no good.
What can we do except wait for Camel Toe to be made President and do even worse.
About the only thing we can do between now and 2024 is start a revolution.
I am not quite ready for that--yet

Sounds like Biden and the White House politburo are getting ready, despite the inflationary prices that Americans are now required to pay, to export American natural gas to Europe.

I get you, #12. We desperately lack leadership - a void I believe the Left is terrified of Trumps' ability to fill. That would be good reason to implement a brand new government agency to squelch any attempt. I'll hold my thoughts on whether or when a revolution is an option, but where to place the bet? The boiled frog or the camels' last straw.

Lived through the Carter years! Wife and I had only been married for 4 years. We bought a home at 9%. We felt lucky when rates went to 21%. Young people will certainly not be buying homes in the near future! Stock market and the housing market are about to tank! Bigly! Republican’t candidates have no answers! They just want to investigate Hunter and Hillary ! They will do zero for average Americans! They never do!!!
