The U.S. went through a historical convulsion in the 1960s, and not only survived but emerged restored and optimistic in the 1980s. This time, though, the destroyers are better organized and seem more determined than their predecessors. We hope there are still enough Americans who believe the country is worth defending. Don’t make the mistake that the political left wants a strong and prosperous U.S., and the only differences it has with the center and right are the methods for how that is achieved. The left, especially its progressive wing of radicals that is taking over the Democratic Party

BHO's Great American Reset is well underway. FJB continues the Fubar. The alphabets and even some Republicans are complicit in the reset. The only hope we have is the 2022 midterms. Enough Republicans must be elected to alter the power structure in DC. 45 must become the Speaker of the House. Impeachment proceedings must begin immediately. FJB and FKH must go into the dustbin of history.

The ideas we were founded upon are worth defending, but the country itself...maybe not. It has got so far away from those ideals we may as well be some Euro Duchy. The Constitution is no longer seen by the communists in charge as a sacred document; divinely inspired. It is seen as a speed bump to be driven over. Kind of like they see us, too. I would give my life to protect the Constitution, but not one drop of spit to protect the government.

Unfortunately, I am starting to see my country without the blinders that were on when I used to watch main stream news. Our only hope is if the people rise up against the ruling class. If only we had a Riccardo Bosi type of leader here to lead the charge, like they have in Australia.

Massive unchecked migration under the Teddy Kennedy's evil law dedicated to destroying our culture as a nation was what did it. Combined with Billionaires being allowed to engage in public policy and law, and Washington DC becoming a great revolving door to Think Tanks and Academia. There are many, many things that could be done to end this hell bent for leather run off the edge of a national cliff

FTA: "The US...emerged restored and optimistic in the 1980s." I believe the emergence and optimism of the 1980s was directly tied the quality of our leadership as the 19702 closed and the country chose Reagan over Carter by a historic margin. Reagan was reviled by the left no less than Donald Trump but he managed to spawn a new breed: Reagan democrats. Reagan's ability to describe, "sell," and govern by a conservative vision for American greatness that shook off the post-Vietnam doldrums, while realizing a vision of "peace through strength." Reagan did not follow popular trends as populists are wont to do; Reagan made conservatism "cool," even to a younger generation. This was picked up by our popular culture and even a sitcom, Family Ties, had a main character, Michael J. Fox, who was unashamedly conservative in spite of his aging "hippy" parents, and dressed for success rather than as a pale ghetto wannabe. It was OK to pursue excellence in education and in the marketplace. Our military was restored, both materially and morale-wise, after a horrible decade of decline. In 2016, I believed that Donald Trump had the ability to be a conservative, restorative president and in many ways he was. In other ways, like it or not, he didn't seem to have internalized conservatism outside of its natural intersections with populism. Unlike Reagan, Trump did not appear to have had a "Damascus Road" conversion from liberal to conservative that sticks to the soul and brings others along with it. Things could change in 2024 but it may be too late to create a phalanx of Trump democrats, willing to go along with a restorative conservative agenda after the disasters of Joe "Jimmy Carter" Biden and the communists in Congress. Since there is no RWR on the horizon, here's hoping DJT, Part Two, can be successful as a communicator, uniter, and if necessary - a war chief.

A Big ‘No’ On Ketanji Brown Jackson 16 replies

We’ve now listened to three days of a scheduled full week of testimony by Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. And to be honest, we’ve heard enough. Anyone who truly cares about the Constitution and the rule of law should reject Jackson. Jackson has a winning smile and pleasant demeanor. Those are nice personal traits, but not ones that necessarily elevate you to the Supreme Court. Still, she’s also a Harvard Law grad, clerked for Justice Steven Breyer, worked as a public defender, served on the U.S. District Court

A pair of principles that drive the political left – never letting a crisis go to waste, and using prior acts of government-imposed restraints to gradually but methodically steal liberty – is taking the U.S. down a path that, if traveled too far, goes in only one direction. We trust that Western nation voters will reverse the trend before it’s too late. But first they have to recognize how the country is being manipulated. If government authorities can shut down an economy and rob Americans of their freedom with lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates over a virus, then they can, and will, do the same for a crisis,

Plenty of commentators have wondered how it is that Vice President Kamala Harris has the ability to use so many words yet say so little. Some speculate that she refuses to read her staff’s briefing materials and so rambles. Others that she just loves the sound of her own nasally voice. Others say that she just isn’t too bright. We believe there’s another possible explanation. Being from California, Harris no doubt was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood fare. By all evidence, Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court will be a shoo-in. Not because she’s supremely qualified, but because her nomination — as the press reminds us in every headline — is “historic.” Yes, there are and have been black justices and women justices, but never, ever a black woman justice! Who would dare stand in the way of history? President Joe Biden assumed that by checking all the correct woke boxes his candidate could escape the sort of vicious scrutiny, rumormongering, character-destroying attacks visited upon Republican nominees – apparently forgetting that

Are you better off today under President Joe Biden than you were a year earlier? And are you financially prepared for a downturn in the economy or a job loss? The March I&I/TIPP Poll suggests most Americans would answer “no” to both of those questions. The poll asked: “Generally speaking, is your family better off today than it was one year ago, worse off than it was one year ago, or about the same as it was a year ago?” Fewer than one in five (20%) said they were “better off.” while more than twice that number — 42% — said they were “worse off.”

Then it was the result of supply chain problems because ports didn’t operate 24/7. Then it was due to a lack of competition among beef suppliers. Then it was greed. Now he’s settled on Vladimir Putin. None of it is true. But the White House is so determined to take advantage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine it invited TikTok “influencers” to propagandize them. And just like Biden and Congress, the Fed has failed at its job. At the Fed’s own website, it states clearly what its primary job is, by law: “Conducting the nation’s monetary policy by influencing money and credit conditions in the economy in pursuit of full employment and stable prices.” Well, today, we have neither “full employment” nor “stable prices.” On Tuesday, the government reported that wholesale prices, that is prices just a step before retail, surged 10% in February.
