Joe Biden announced on the campaign trail a couple of years ago that he intended to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court. The White House re-affirmed that intention yesterday in the wake of confirmed rumors of Justice Stephen Breyer’s imminent retirement.
It’s not that Biden has a particular nominee in mind who just happens to be a black woman. No, it’s that being a black woman is the main criteria.
This is not unprecedented for Biden.

Just how ironic is it that the racist criteria President Houseplant plans on using for his nominee is likely to be struck down by the SCOTUS before the end of this term when it comes to school admissions?

I just watched Biden butcher the retirement announcement of Breyer on the US Supreme Court. My first thought was, this guy is older than Biden and seemed much sharper on the smart side than our own president.
Aside from the unconstitutionality of his choice to pick a black woman as his pick...Did anyone else Biden gave Breyer a mask (he already had one on and put it in his pocket. The president walked out with no mask on his face.

No matter who she is, or how qualified she is, she will always be seen as an "affirmative action" nominee based on her skin color and gender.
However, based on recent Demon-Rat appointees to anything, she will not be qualified, and will be miles from the most qualified person for the job. So the "affirmative action" label will fit her very well!!!

So, merit doesn't count any more in this God-forsaken country? Only the amount of the skin pigmentation does??

Joe Biteme is incapable of learning. The last time that he used immutable and irrelevant physical characteristics as the primary criteria to choose a nominee [rather than talent or ability], he picked Kackles Harris as VP.

She'll be like one of those black women mayors elected for affirmative action purposes by liberals. Not a one has distinguished herself except by the extent of her failure.

If Biden's eventual nominee had any real, personal integrity, she would hold a press conference to announce her refusal to accept the nomination based solely on her sex and race and that such a nomination would be unconstitutional on its face.

Justice Clarence Thomas should announce that he identifies as a woman, then Biden's nominee will no longer be the first black woman on the court. By their own rules, if someone identifies as a different gender, then it must be accepted as fact.

Criterion is singular. Is the ”main criterion.”

I wonder if this treatment will turn Beyer into a conservative! the new justice will be in the same boat as Kagan and Sotomeyer. They are on the court because they helped hussien. It was a pay off. Not qualified, just a payback.

Another Affirmative Action hire, great, just what we need. Not the best but the right melanin content. Can we ever get away from AA?

There is precedent: Sotomayor.
This nominee will likely be equally incapable of embarrassment.

Another aspect of affirmative action is that it sets the beneficiary up for failure. It’s seen all the time in universities which admit minorities who aren’t qualified in order to fill their quotas and then the students can’t keep up and drop out in droves. Which makes them feel like failures which breeds animosity. Vicious circle. But the left doesn’t care about the effect on minorities, all they care about is the numbers and the “firsts”.
Commie-la is a “first” and a failure and I have no doubt that TaliBiden’s nominee will be too.

Look how well that "wise latina" for the SC boast worked out. Dumb as a sack of hammer handles. Maybe John Roberts can announce...well, he sure looks white, but that's just his first face. We suspect he is two-faced, maybe the second one resembles Maxine Waters?

Affirmative action needs to be ended. Either through the Congress with a law or a Constitutional Amendment. Success in this country should only be based on ability and performance and not skin color or sex.
