President Joe Biden just can’t seem to catch a break. Only eight days after the Supreme Court set fire to the president’s vaccine mandate requiring companies with more than 100 employees to force their workers to get vaxxed, a federal judge has ruled that he could not compel federal personnel to take the jab.(snip)
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Brown said in his Friday order that at issue was whether the president “can, with the stroke of a pen and without the input of Congress, require millions of federal employees to undergo a medical procedure as a condition of their employment.”

Facing intensifying criticism from Democratic lawmakers, journalists, and even some federal judges for not seeking harsher punishment against January 6 protesters, Attorney General Merrick Garland finally produced charges to appease his detractors. Last week, more than a year after the so-called insurrection, Garland charged 11 members of the Oath Keepers with seditious conspiracy.
The star of the new indictment,(snip) is Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the alleged militia group.(snip)
Rhodes, described only as “person one” for nearly a year in numerous criminal indictments related to his organization, has been a free man since January 6, 2021, raising plausible suspicions that he may have been a government informant at the time.

If the left believed that draping the Capitol riot of Jan. 6, 2021, around the neck of former President Donald Trump and the party that refused to repudiate him would sink the GOP, it appears to have miscalculated.
For, as the left painted the Capitol riot as an “armed insurrection,” “domestic terrorism,” (snip) Republicans were displacing the Democrats as America’s first party.
Democrats began 2021 as the preferred party of 49% of the country. Only 40% identified as Republicans.
(snip)
When 2022 began, the standings had been reversed.
Forty-two percent of Americans identified as Democrats, and 47% as Republicans, a turnaround of 14 points.

The political motives behind this FBI effort are, yet again, brutally transparent. The FBI are for Joe Biden what the Russian FSB is for Vladimir Putin. That’s what they are. That’s all they are. That’s what they do. (snip) Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar represents Texas’ 28th Congressional District, which extends to the U.S.- Mexico border, and has been in Congress since 2005. Cuellar has been very public and very critical of how Joe Biden has collapsed the U.S-Mexico border enforcement. Suddenly, Cuellar becomes the target of the FBI.

On Dec. 29 Maxwell was found guilty of five out of six sex-trafficking charges on behalf of the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.(snip)At the center of the motion is Juror No. 50, who had recently stated publicly he was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and made this known to his fellow jurors during deliberations.
The prosecution had previously requested there be an inquiry into the juror and the defense had previously requested a new trial.

Tennis star Novak Djokovic and his wife own an 80 percent share in a Danish biotech firm developing a treatment for COVID-19 that does not involve vaccination, the company’s boss said on Wednesday.
The Serbian native 34, and his wife Jelena, 35, bought a majority stake in QuantBioRes back in June 2020, just months into the pandemic, the company’s chief executive Ivan Loncarevic confirmed to Reuters.
Loncarevic did not say how much the stake was worth but confirmed that Djokovic owns 40.8 percent while his wife owns 39.2 percent of the company.
Efforts to contact a Djokovic spokesperson for comment were unsuccessful.

New evidence has emerged that suggests that Dr. Anthony Fauci not only initiated efforts to cover up evidence pointing to a lab origin of SARS-CoV-2 but actively shaped a highly influential academic paper that excluded the possibility of a lab leak.
Fauci’s involvement with the paper wasn’t acknowledged by the authors, as it should have been under prevailing academic standards. Neither was it acknowledged by Fauci himself, who denied having communicated with the authors when asked directly while testifying before Congress last week.
The article, Proximal Origin, was co-authored by five virologists, four of whom participated in a Feb. 1, 2020, teleconference that was hastily convened by Fauci,

The member of the public who tipped off police about the whereabouts of the man wanted for Brianna Kupfer’s murder has revealed how he recognised the alleged killer by his “distinctive walk” as he strolled right past him along a street in California.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that he did “a double take” when he spotted Shawn Laval Smith in Pasadena on Wednesday and immediately called 911.
Mr Smith was arrested and taken into custody by Pasadena Police at around 11:50am on Wednesday, six days after a huge manhunt was launched to find the man responsible for the brutal stabbing of the 24-year-old UCLA student

As he documents the role of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in generating false allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, Special Counsel John Durham has also previewed a challenge to the FBI’s claims about how and why its counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign began. At stake is the completeness of the official reckoning within the U.S. government over the Russiagate scandal – and whether there will be an accounting commensurate with the offense: the abuse of the nation's highest law enforcement and intelligence powers to damage an opposition presidential candidate turned president, at the behest of his opponent from the governing party he defeated.

A recently resurfaced report from the Sunday Times is shedding some light into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's living situation in England. As most ~royal watchers~ know, the Duke and Duchess were living in a two-bedroom cottage at Kensington Palace, and understandably wanted somewhere bigger to raise a family after their wedding. According to the Times, the couple had their hearts set on Windsor Castle, and "asked the Queen if living quarters could be made available after their marriage."
Apparently the Queen "politely but firmly" suggested Frogmore Cottage, which is near the castle.
