Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), known for his sense of humor, mocked President Joe Biden during a Fox News interview this week, saying that if aliens arrived and demanded to be taken to America’s leader, it would be a moment of embarrassment.“The Biden administration has mismanaged COVID, it has mismanaged inflation, it has mismanaged the border, and it has mismanaged foreign policy all in one year,” Kennedy said. “If the aliens landed tomorrow, and said, ‘take me to your leader,’ it would be embarrassing. Now President Biden is trying to change the subject by talking about race. And he is mismanaging that.”WATCH: CORRECTION*

U.S. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) blasted President Biden’s racial demagoguery on “The Faulkner Focus” Friday while voicing “disgust” with Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) who called the Senate “racist” for not passing the left’s voting rights legislation that would have federalized elections.Kennedy proclaimed that the hateful rhetoric from Democrats calling Republicans racists needs to stop. He stated that “the American people are getting pretty tired of being called” racist.“The Democratic congressman, he takes his cues from his leader, President Biden. I don’t hate anybody. I look for grace wherever I can find it.

Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson said Friday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that the Republican Party wanted the 2024 presidential election to be the last election in America.Wilson said, “They’re trying to throw so much friction into voting and all the sand into the machine, especially in communities they don’t feel will be reliable voters for them. So they are not going to b**** and moan about early voting in a red county. ”He continued, “This is exactly the kind of mechanism that proto authoritarian states and authoritarian states set up. They want to say who can vote, when they can vote, how they can vote, when the votes are counted.

The National Public Radio reporter behind a story about face masks and the Supreme Court that the justices themselves have denied remained defiant on Thursday after one of NPR’s own editors criticized her story.Nina Totenberg, NPR’s veteran legal affairs correspondent, had an intense reaction to NPR’s public editor Kelly McBride saying the story “merits a clarification, but not a correction,” without which NPR risks losing credibility with readers.“She can write any goddamn thing she wants, whether or not I think it’s true,” Totenberg told The Daily Beast. “She’s not clarifying anything!”She laughed and then added, “I haven’t even looked at it, and I don’t care to look at it

The congressional approval sinks to 18 percent as Democrats in the House and Senate are fighting to keep their slim majority during the midterms, which are less than a year away, according to a Gallup poll. The 18 percent approval comes about one year after the poll gave the Democrat-controlled chambers the highest approval in 12 years, peaking at 36 percent in March 2021.However, the latest five-point decline from the congressional approval could primarily be attributed to the sizeable ten-point decline from the Democrat respondents, who are now at 26 percent.
