Mexican border state authorities arrested a regional commander for the Sinaloa Cartel in Nuevo Leon. The cartel figure is believed responsible for kidnappings and executions in the area after the cartel began a turf war in late 2021.
This week, state authorities arrested Alan Ervey “ El Cano” Juarez Castillo in the Monterrey metropolitan area. According to law enforcement sources in Nuevo Leon, El Cano is believed to be the leader of Sinaloa Cartel strike teams targeting incumbent drug distributors. After the arrest, El Cano’s gunmen clashed with authorities in several parts of the city, leading to seven more collars. Authorities killed two unidentified gunmen in the process.

I’m sure by now all readers have seen the account of results from a recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters:
COVID-19: Democratic Voters Support Harsh Measures Against Unvaccinated
(snip)
While many voters have become skeptical toward the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of Democrats embrace restrictive policies, including punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.
(snip) I decided to take a look at the polling internals,(snip) it appears that America leans heavily in a generally conservative direction by globalist standards. The younger generation is cause for concern, but there seems to be room for cautious optimism.

A guest on the Tucker Carlson show outlined the answer to this question {Direct Rumble Link} which has been stated in these pages and a multitude of conversations for well over a year. Why has there been this massive disproportionate push for vaccination against a virus which, all things considered, is NOT that deadly?
For two years, as we have watched the various governments around the world pushing the COVID-19 vaccination, many have asked this question? The demand and effort is wildly disproportionate to the risk.(snip)
Tucker Carlson and Eva Vlaardingerbroek explained the motives and intents last night. Yes, in essence, this is the quiet part being said out

England's Plan B measures are to end from next Thursday, with mandatory face coverings in public places and Covid passports both dropped, Boris Johnson has announced.
The prime minister also said the government would immediately drop its advice for people to work from home.
The PM said England was reverting to "Plan A" due to boosters and how people had followed Plan B measures.
He told MPs scientists believed the Omicron wave had peaked nationally.
Health Secretary Sajid Javid, who is holding a Downing Street press conference, said: "This is a moment we can all be proud of.
"It's a reminder of what this country can accomplish when we all work together."

Boris Johnson faces more questions about his leadership at Prime Minister's Questions, as the row over lockdown parties at No 10 continues.
Growing revolt among Tory MPs, including those elected in the 2019 election, poses a threat to the PM.
(snip) one MP claims around half of a group of 20 newer MPs submitted no confidence letters on Wednesday morning.
If 54 Tory MPs submit letters, it would trigger a leadership contest.
Only seven are known to have done so, but one MP told the BBC they thought the threshold could be reached shortly.
But only MP Sir Graham Brady,(snip) - who receives and counts up the no-confidence requests - knows the exact number.

Democrats and the leftist media continue to champion the House’s sham investigation into the events of January 6, 2021, with news breaking just yesterday that the illegally constituted committee had subpoenaed Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, and others. Yet, if these January 6 truthers genuinely believed that election-related rhetoric caused the capitol riots and represent a real threat to our republic, they would turn their attention to the current White House and to their own Grand Poohbah.
In one week alone, President Biden eclipsed everything Donald Trump and his supporters said about the validity of the 2020 election. By framing his false claims of “voter suppression” and “election subversion” as

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are setting up a complex network of companies all based in the opaque tax haven state of Delaware – despite living and doing business in California.
Meghan's longtime lawyer and business manager have incorporated 11 companies and a trust for the couple since April 2020, state filings reveal, including a firm apparently set up for Harry's multi-million-dollar memoir book deal.
Names for the companies include an intriguing Japanese term for deal making, a reference to Meghan's freckles in Spanish, a South American river, and a possible allusion to a (snip)

CNN hired convicted thief Rex Chapman, who uses his popularity on Twitter to spread misinformation, this week to host a new show on the network’s digital streaming platform.
(snip)It comes as no surprise that CNN, which has lost multiple employees in recent months after they were arrested and charged with sex crimes involving juvenile victims, hired yet another criminal to join its staff.
In 2015, Chapman, a former NBA star, was sentenced to 750 hours of community service and forced to pay at least $15,000 to an Arizona-based Apple store after he pleaded guilty to shoplifting technology totaling more than $14,000 and then attempting to resell the products.

COVID-19 case counts have dropped across the United States in recent days, stoking optimism that the Omicron-fueled wave is subsiding.
Thirty-four states have recorded a decrease in cases in recent days, not including states that reported a single-day drop, according to an Epoch Times analysis.
That includes some of the states that saw huge Omicron-fueled increases, including New York, California, and Florida.
Omicron is one of the newest variants of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.
Other states that have seen fewer cases recently include Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.

Ashli Babbitt desperately tried to prevent rioters from vandalizing the doors leading to the Speaker’s Lobby at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, even stepping between one troublemaker and police officers guarding the doors, a video analysis shows.
Frame-by-frame video evidence analyzed by The Epoch Times paints a vastly different picture of Babbitt’s actions than that portrayed in media accounts over the past year. News media regularly painted Babbitt as “violent,” a “rioter,” or an “insurrectionist” who was angrily trying to breach the Speaker’s Lobby.
Video clips appear to show she tried to prevent the attack, not join it.

It appears that another virus is spreading in China. It allegedly has patients bleeding from bodily openings, including the eyes and ears. Reports from Xi’an, where the government has locked down a city of 13 million people, some who are nearing starvation, claim there are now signs of community transmission of hemorrhagic fever. The state-run Global Times reported on this, and claimed the regime is urging quick vaccinations to stop the spread of the virus.

More people now identify as Republican than at any other time this century, according to Gallup’s latest political party preference report.
Republicans currently enjoy a 47% to 42% identification advantage over Democrats, tied for the highest lead Republicans have had since they first took over the House of Representatives in 1995. The only higher margin for Republicans occurred in 1991, shortly after the first Gulf War.… Democrats started 2021 with a 9-point lead over Republicans 49%-40%. But as President Joe Biden failed to end COVID as he promised, failed to prevent the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, and failed to stop rising inflation, the Democrats' edge over Republicans gradually sank along
