China's growing military muscle and its drive to end American predominance in the Asia-Pacific is rattling the U.S. defense establishment. American officials see trouble quickly accumulating on multiple fronts — Beijing's expanding nuclear arsenal, its advances in space, cyber and missile technologies, and threats to Taiwan.
'The pace at which China is moving is stunning,' said General John Hyten, the No. 2-ranking U.S. military officer, who previously commanded U.S. nuclear forces and oversaw Air Force space operations.
At stake is a potential shift in the global balance of power that has favored the United States for decades.

Criminal malfeasance by allowing ongoing intellectual property theft and other actions that allowed this to happen, yet all they need to do to keep their jobs and pensions is take a series of shots.

Lets hope they are doing a better job on this than they did in Afghanistan. Keeping my fingers crossed but not very confident with the current Admin. in charge.

Our military spends most of its time chatting with the Chinese and letting tour our vessels, employing them at our defense contractors and universities, and purchasing Chinese made computer equipment. Our military is Milley and Biden led, and the Chinese are getting everything they want from us.

but I wouldn't be surprised that Milley has a plan to invade Brandon, MS if half a dozen "white supremacists" should rally and chant "Let's go, Brandon!"

I see that those commenters above me have the same thought that first came into my mind. If Nixon would not have gone over to play patty cake with them and encouraged factories to move from the US to China, if we would not have let them steal our intellectual properties, if Hillary would not have stupidly put our government files on her personal server in her bathroom so that China and anyone else could hack, and if our congressmen would have kept from sleeping with Chinese spies and congresswomen would not have kept a chinese spy as a limousine driver for years.....In other words, our top military brass and politicians have been our biggest enemies for years.

Maybe we should stop worrying about "white rage" and start worrying about protecting the country.

Gee...Evah'budy on the Left laff'd and bash'd Trump for establishing the "Space Force" to gather all of the separate space defense programs into one Organization, focused solely on that "Theater", prepping for these verrry kinds of things.

Maybe the Pentagon could look into that.
You know, after they get all the "White Privilege" stuff
stamped out...

They're shocked!
Maybe it's because they spent their time with the Trump Administration to undermine him at every turn instead of focusing on China!
But here's an idea...let's further weaken our military by firing any service member who refuses a "vaccine" that doesn't prevent catching the virus and has serious side effects!
Yup that's definitely a plan! When Trump gets back in he better fire all their arses!

it wouldn't be that way if President Donald J. Trump was in the White House.
the Chicoms know everything about diapers and are taking full advantage of everything they know
- and - what they have on him to get exactly what they want.
diapers is the worst traitor in the history of our country.

Just a plea for more money...the yellow peril is back in vogue. Maybe if our military cut the waste and stopped padding the tail to the detriment of those toothy parts...

The pace that the American military is moving toward wokeness is stunning as well, but just as alarming General Hyten. You are leaving us more vulnerable. Well done Hyten, Austin, Milley and Biden. Well done.

What should really rattle the military brass is how easily the Chinese can steal our military secrets which enables them to build these weapons.

There is the possibility that Milly could be crying wolf if it would help China. No doubt China steals U.S. info., but the U.S.A. still has the upper hand militarily. Yet the longer Biden is there, the left's propaganda spin could effect public opinion. Americans have always been known for courage,, not fear.. We already know America's enemies are playing the old divide & conquer ploy. Apparently they will try anything.

And maybe if Clinton hadn't allowed them to receive missle technology from his friends at Loral industries in exchange for campaign cash they wouldn't be advancing so rapidly. All I can say is thank God for Admiral Levine he/she should give the Chicoms pause and time to reflect on our awesome military leadership

Sounds like the military complex is lobbying for more money. Will it be used for defense or will be be used to battle the white supremacy phantom?

We know that the Chinese Communists have the weapons, but we don’t know if they plan to use those weapons to take out a U.S. aircraft carrier? If they do, the current supply chain problems of today will be just a small fraction of what will happen to future supply chains.

if war breaks out with China, kiss globalization goodbye. That may be the main thing protecting us now though very likely China is rapidly reaching a point that it will no longer need to rely on globalization.

The Chi-coms seem to be investing their yuan in top quality military hardware.
Bet they aren't as generous donating to the Taliban on the scale that the Biden administration does. That's how our defense dollars are wasted.
Lets Go Brandon.
